Hey Edirlan dos santos batista, what you describe in your video (link corrected) is the lack of Delay Compensation (DC) in some of the apps.

Have you tried the same test, but with the DC apps?

The reason why we have included DC and non-DC apps is that the patch that enable Delay Compensation is buggy, it generates crashes in some configurations... but it is not systematic, sometimes the DC apps crashes the first time you launch them, but not the second time.

Note also that depending of the type of audio interface you have, the crashes are more or less present: for example, with my little thunderbolt interface, I have far less crashes with the DC apps than if I had an USB interface.

It can be explained easily: with TBolt, the computer spend less time to calculate audio than with USB, which demands more CPU power.

It is the same with Firewire interfaces: the Firewire standard is far more stable and reliable than USB, everything is handled by the interface itself, so it demands less CPU power.

I can tell you that the version that works the best on my comp, thanks to Je509's clever patch, is "Cbse 10 DC7" (not 10.5).
Try your test song again with it, and tell me if you have problems again?

Some users have reported that N.ndo non-DC, works near perfect with audio, a user have managed to mix 30 audio tracks + a lot of FX with it without any problem.

Essential note on Cubase 10.5 and Cubase 10.5DC. I start the program and try to open the file from the "File" / Resent Projects menu. Programs crash with reports of serious problems. If I load a file from disk through the "File" / Open menu, the file is downloaded and the program works fine. Disable "Asio Guard", combine with windows 7, 8 - all in vain. I always launch programs as administrator. I work on Windows 8.1 myself

Hey, Nikkolokolov, you have to know that the video functions, like video export for example, don't work in Win7, I think it's the same if you set the compatibility to win7.

The trick with Asio guard doesn't work for everybody, it seems to work mostly on win10, obviously it doesn't work with your comp, so never mind.

But i'm glad to read that you managed to make it work anyway! Isn't already a wonderful thing?

Of course it's not perfect, but you have to understand how difficult it is to work with heavily protected beasts like these, it was a near-impossible task, and though our devs have managed to do it anyway!!! Isn't it amazing?

tava tentando fazer uns teste no cubase 10.5 DC infelizmente nao trabalhando bem ta travando qualquer projeto o único que funcionando mais ou menos é a versão normal cubase 10.5 mais mesmo assim ta com aquele problema que eu relatei logo cedo sobre o atraso quando coloca um Plugins de efeito tentei de tudo aqui e não tive bons resultados

Acabei de testar essa versao DC7 bom realmente melhou a questao de atraso nos canais, só vai ser chato voltar pra versao 10.0.40, mais tudo bem espero que isso na versão 10.5 seja corrigido em breve obrigado pela dica.

Glad to read that CBse 10 DC7 works as well for you as it works for me!

Sorry for 10.5, our devs have done what they can to stabilize it but for now they haven't found any solution yet, it's why as always I call for technical help: if you are skilled enough, try to help the community in finding new patches, diffs and corrections to help stabilize the DC apps, thanks!

estou sempre testando abrindo projetos pesados nele vendo como ele se comporta, ah e detalhe desinstalei tudo da maquina fiz uma instalação do zero e usei o antitrial do cubase elements 9 ate funcionou vamos ver como ele se comporta abraço bom dia

1°) The final, tested, real AiR release is Cbse 5, released in... 2009!

The protection have hugely evolved since 2009, the AiR releases are not compatible with the ones here.

2°) Here, we talk about the 2019 patched Cbse 10.5 and N.ndo 10 only. Please stay on topic and let the glorious past in the past, thanks.

I also have a problem that someone commented a few weeks ago.

With the latest installer of C.u.b.as.e 10.5 Build 22.11.19, the options to import or export AAF / OMF do not appear in the context menu.

Instead i have reinstalled C.u.b.as.e build 19.11.19, and the options are back

EDIT:

I have found the solution by myself.
After installing several times in case it was an error in the installation without luck, I 'm back to the previous one (Build 19.11.19) checking that in that version it does appear import and export OMF / AAF in the menu.

Then i have copied the related files: "OMFFilter.dll" and the folder "AAFFilter" from the folder "C: \ Program Files \ St.ein.ber.g \ C.ub.as.e 10.5 \ Components"

So i uninstalled Build 19.11.19, and reinstalled the last build 22.11.19 replacing the files that i have previously copied from the "Components" folder, start Cu.b.as.e, and now all the options to import and export AAF / OMF appear in the menu.

I advise everyone to check if that import/export options works for them, because it appears to be an error in the installer, and not an isolated case that only happens to me and other user

Hey, j.cnnr, you're right, I should have verified this myself but it's a function I don't use at all...

Files and folder do are missing in the "Components" folder, so I will ask the great TEAMBEAT2019 to correct the installer if he have time. Thank you for your report!

I think the problem is not that the files are missing, but that the installer installs them, but for some reason they are corrupt.

Já tentei todas as opções possíveis, instalação limpa, instalei e desinstalei e limpei cada instalação sem sorte, até que tentei a solução que comentei. Não sei se isso acontece com outras pessoas, mas, por algum motivo, isso acontece comigo e, pelo que li, aconteceu com outro usuário

Pode ler no Edit do meu comentário que já encontrei uma solução

I'm really impatient to start my next post-production project in N.ue.nd.o, since i have a feeling that it will be more funny (I'm currently working with Pr.oto.ols 12.5) but I'm not sure which percentage of N.u.end.o is functional right now, and if once the project grows and has many plugins on the tracks, i will start to have problems, and will have to export and go back to continue in PT
Do you have information about someone who has thoroughly tested it?

Now back to topic:

Hey j.cnnr, of course our release are not intended for serious work, but you must know that:

- Some users managed to mix 2 big projects (= more than 30 audio tracks + a loads of FX) with N.ndo non-DC without any single problem nor any bugs.

The only problem is when you wanna use anything MIDI (VST instruments for ex.): the solution there is to handle everything MIDI externally with another DAW and to export to audio. Else than that, N.ndo non-DC seems rock-solid.

Another app you could try Cbse 10 DC7 (go to the peeplink and choose the the third link). I have personally very good results with it, but of course it is not 100% perfect, there is still little crashes from time to time... /:

To overcome these crashes, we need very serious help... But alas, for now we are alone by ourselves, of course we do our very best everyday, and we have given everything to this great project, but obviously it's not enough.

I hope that some famous Teams will take a look at it, and, why not? will litterally destroy this protection once and for all!

It seems to be an improvement on b12, so the only thing we can do is try it, but before:

Take the time to backup everything, don't mess with your installation!


If you have legit licenses and / or dongles, remove them temporarily before trying anything!

You will be able to reconnect your dongles only once everything is completely installed and you have rebooted. But each time you have to modify something, remove your dongle first!

Make several backups of C:\ProgramData\Syncrosoft\seLicenser.sel, this file is super-precious! This is where all your soft licenses are stored, so take care of it!

It's all I can tell for now, only time will tell if this release is solid enough.

The big advantage here, is that you don't need to go to the official site and ask for demos anymore, if ever it works (I mean for long term) it could be an real improvement for all the patched Cbse/Nndo users.

...But it doesn't change anything to the bugs: they are still there.

If you have a legit (paid) dongle license, please read my comment above before trying anything.

The same if you have legit soft licenses, read my warning.

If your question was about the patched apps, of course there is a chance that b13 could work with them, but for now we cannot 100% be sure that b13 is totally safe and reliable yet. Only time will tell.

It's why I multiply the warnings and ask everyone to take precautions before trying this new AT.
