Hey Cubeadooby7, believe me it means a lot for the devs, who really need the support and encouragements of the community!

The problem we have now, is that we are in lack of concrete help and support from the skilled members of this community. What we need is new patches and new bug corrections, actual assembly code and/or binary diffs.

And when I say "we", I don't talk about me or any one in particular, I mean: we, the entire AudioZ community.

For example: if ever some Team decide to take the project internally and release the corrected apps separately under its own name, we'd don't mind at all, the essential being that the job is done, and well done.

Because no one involved in this adventure is working for her/his own big ego, for money or for an illusory fame. We are working for the community as simple members of it. I know, it's difficult to understand for some persons...

Hey, SoundLanguge! Of course, I am very grateful to you for everything, including for taking care of getting the best plugins on this site ... I only use this opportunity, mostly 80%. Including this set "Melda Productions MFreeFXBundle v14.00 x64 x86 VST AU AAX WiN MAC [FREE]" taken by me from here. I installed the folders and the program itself correctly. According to my written appeal to them to the administration, it turned out: free plug-ins will work without installing a license. Red border obstruction, at the bottom of each free plug-in it will be removed only when I buy one paid plug-in and license it. There was no agreement on this anywhere - and therefore such a misunderstanding came out. Thanks for the tip and wish for help.

Cubase Elements 10.5 trial is finally out. Eagerly awaiting the ROCK SOLID Extended version that we normally get from V.R. This release is pretty good, just not as good as the Elements Extended version as far as usability and stability. And let’s not forget about the new Wavelab... Keep up the great work that allows us to make great music!

I try to install cubase 10.5 from steinberg but its doesnt work with the serial from element but doesn't work

Hey my friend!

Of course, this have been already said many times: this release is very different than the official Pro apps, which are simply useless, only Elements trial license could be interesting if you have problems running the patched apps.

Before entering your serial, you have to deactivate AT first. You have also to validate your serial and start the usage period.

As a result: in the licenser, everything must be in black, not red.
If you have a license in red, click on it then go to the menu "Actions" > "Start demo period".

Then you have to reboot before activating AT b10 again.

Today, January 12.18.2019, I downloaded from Steinberg “Download Asistent” to install the trials on my PC: Ekements 10 and Cubase 10.5 Pro with both activation keys sent to my mail. I did this just in case, since there are 6 windows on my server and there is an opportunity to expand the scope of influences and experiments. I want you, dear SoundLanguage, to ask: will any preferences in the durability and reliability of the installed and patched “AT b10” of these trial DAWs give me any preferences? Can “AT b10” help me license a fresh trial Cubase 10.5 Pro through my physical Dongle? Or is it possible to do this only with Elements?

If you read my former messages, you will understand that the patched apps are very different than the Pro apps you have DLed today.

The patched apps works only with a Cbse Elements (any version) trial license, not Pro.
The pro apps are simply useless.

So am I the only one that did not undertand. I downloaded the Cubase install only as I don't want or need Aria but I didn't get the configuration to install 'Required eLicenser Control Setup 6.11.9' and the rest. Am I missing someyhing?

Hello Pabellon!

In fact there is a typo in the description: ARA (and not aria) is simply a function of Cbse and N.endo which allows them to communicate with external apps, like M.e.l.odyne or Spe.ct.ralayers for example. It could be compared to Rewire for example.

The apps proposed here are heavily patched to work with a Cbse Elements (not pro) trial license.

The eLic. 6.11.9 is absolutely indispensable, without it, the apps simply can't work. It's why there is the mention "Required".

The third thing that you absolutely need is the AT b10. With it, you will extend greatly the demos period.

Just follow closely the instructions you'll find in the folder "How to install". There is 3 principal steps:

1°) Install the eLic 6.11.9. Reboot.

2°) Install the AT b10. You have to set it exactly like in the image above in the main post. Important! And be patient, let it finish till the end.

At the end of the process, you will see a little box "launch the licenser". Untick it, you don't need to launch the licenser anymore.

3°) Install the apps.

Try them, and report any difficulty or bug you could encounter. Of course as said in the post these patched beta apps are not perfect, there are still persistent bugs nobody have found actual solutions yet, but depending of your particular configuration, your mileage will vary.

So... Am I able to download the official E.lements Version and use it instead of the pro?

All I have to do is
- deactivate A10
- DL E.lements via DL Assistant
- Activate Trial licence with code which was sent via mail
- activate A10 again?

What is the purpose of this? So I can use a official release which is less buggy than the pro 10.5?

Hey Lewlew, that's correct!

The purpose of this is simply to have an Elements trial serial entered and validated in the licenser, because the apps proposed here are patched to work with this license in particular. The other licenses and apps are useless.

You don't need to actually install anything, only the trial code is important.

But it could happens (for different reasons) that the apps actually work on your comp' without doing anything (if of course you have installed them following the instructions).

Just try the apps, it's the only way to know. If they complains that the licence is missing, then you'll have to do the procedure described in your own post.

All of that is only a question of license. If you have the right license, then you can use the patched apps for looongtime.
So I can use a official release which is less buggy than the pro 10.5?

No you can't, unless you have a dongle and are ready to pay some $$$.

So I installed. Activated. Activated A10.
Seems to work.

What about the DC Problem with Pro? Do I have the same problem with the Elements version?

As usual, it varies a lot depending of your config.

What I can say: with the DC versions, you can experiment crashes when the physical memory is full. Some crashes only happens once, the second time you launch the app things seems to work again.

Try the DCs first, because they compensate better the delay (latency) introduced by the plugins, in particular the insert FXs like reverbs, etc.

If there's too much crashes with DC apps, try then the non-DC.

If you hear offsets between tracks (in rhythmic tracks, notably) or slight desynchros, you can try to compensate them in inserting in each track a plugin that you bypass (not deactivated, only bypassed), I know it seems at first illogical but it actually appears to improve latency a lot in some cases.

But some other users have reported to don't have any latency problems with the non-DC apps, so as you see it is best to try by yourself instead of doing hypothesis.

Elements only serves for the licence as said earlier, here we talk about the patched apps only. If you wanna talk about elements you should open a topic on the sister site.

The DC problem if i right is about spikes with memory and sound i think, to resolve this of another problem sound language Said :

Element does not have this problem. But now, when the trial version of Element has appeared, I want to have the original * exe-file of the Pro version, hacked, but not divided into DC, and try to run with a new license Element.

In Element 10.5 Delay Compensation works.
Therefore, the question arises, what is compiled in the Pro version. It seems that the problem is not only in MSFACT, that something has already been cut there wrong. And this is tied to the Cubase Plug-ins vst 3.

Of course elements doesn't have any problems, because it's the official app, not patched.

The problem arises when you want the Pro versions: they don't work without a dongle... dongle that is impossible to "whack" in any way.

So here arrive a team called V.R. with a genius idea: instead of trying to Kk the dongle, try to patch the apps so that they work with only a soft trial license.

Soft licenses are very different than the hard licenses, they are less difficult to overcome...

But for this trick to work, you have to patch (modify) heavily the apps themselves, so that they accept to work with a soft license only.

I know it's difficult to understand if you haven't any notion about software protections in general, but the apps you have here are very, very different than the "official" ones.

The problem, is that the patches have errors, errors that generates bugs (not for everyone, some users have reported to have great satisfactions with the non-DC apps).

Patching apps like that is very, very difficult because they are heavily protected, there is a lot of traps and complications, it's why the patches have errors, and so are still buggy.

What we need to overcome these bugs and errors, is that very skilled people take the relay, because we are very limited in what we can do.

Remember, we're not a "team" nor anything like that, just a bunch of friends, simple members of this great community.

I wouldn't even crack a daw. I really want to own them but there is no monthly subscription for cub.ase. That's weak. I really like this DAW.

EDIT:
But am I right? I can use E.Lements now for a looooong time?
And I dont have to worry about things like DC in the official version?

My procedure for installing Cubase 10.5 Pro was to first install the elements version of cubase
0. Us eLicenser Antitrial Switch to disable AntiTrial if installed
1. Download & install from steingerb official site
2. Activate trial license.
3. Don’t apply “Start usage period” & backup license file c: \ ProgramData \ Syncrosoft \ SeLicenser.sel
4. Apply “eLicenser Antitrial” or enable if installed. Protect the c: \ Program Files (x86) \ eLicenser \ POS \ folder from antivirus software.
5. Apply “Cubase Elements v10 eXTender” – choose second order for expired trial
6. Install Cubase Pro 10.5
Enjoy...Tested on windows 10/windows 7 64 bit


The only problem occurs when I try to record an audio track, it is impossible to record because cubase tells me that the hard disk has no space

Does anyone know how to fix it?
