That I didnt know.
So we do as previously only we use the b13 instead of b10, which can give us all the soft licence software from ab.so.lu.te.
The download assistantn provided with b13, is something special or we can continue using the one from st.ein?

i really think i can take advantage of N.u.nd if i use it for audio editing without using a large number of plugins, and then i finish the whole mix in PT.

Something i detest in PT, is the file browser, and when it comes to post-production, I'm continually searching through my foley libraries. I know that PT is focused especially for it, but it doesn't convince me.

If I make a confession , currently my workflow consists of starting with 4blt.n Live, I open the video on a track, and i start putting all the foley (adjusting all everything fine that i can), the workflow searching in the browser is faster , and more comfortable editing audio and Midi ....

Once i have the project advanced, i export all the tracks, and create the session in PT, then i make the fine sincro of foley , and mix the project.

I know that there are other Daws, that work better than Live to work as i do, but for me is the one i know best, and with which i work faster.

With all this i mean, that my intention is to replace 4blt.n with Nu.3nd, and take advantage of all the editing and synchro functions with video, so that even if i have some problems related to the Delay Compensation, they would not affect me for now.

I have faith that you will be able to stabilize them completely, with all the way you have traveled, is only a matter of time....(and of course collaboration)

Everything, I think, is a question of workflow, some jobs feel easier with some apps, and some other tasks, like mixing for example, seems more complete with others.

Good luck with your project, whatever the tools you use to do that they are only tools, no more, no less.

Sometimes I watch tutorials videos that supposed to reveal you "big secrets" about mixing, and often I meet studio guys that like to show off with their incredible gear, but they forget one thing, one very important an very simple truth:

What makes the sound is not the gear, it's the gal / guy! Some very human persons manage to do impossible, astonishing things with... nothing!

In the "pro" studio world, guys should pass less time talking about stupid gear, and more time talking about soul, as it is IMHO the very core essence of Sound.

Guys, I've a big "problem"...
My VST Multipanner inside Cubase is totally missing. I came from the "Extended" 10.0.40 elements from VR (with working multipanner). Tried the Pro (keeping the extended elements) with AT13 and VST MultiPanner was missing (blank panning). So, I've returned to extended elements and is now missing there too. Tried almost everything (overwriting the vst3 and vst xml folders with the ones coming from Nuendo 10 and Cubase 10.5, totally uninstalling and reinstalling only extended 10 and so on) but no luck...
It seems like the surroundpanner.vst3 is not loaded at all (i think it's this that contains the multipanner). I just have the "standard panner" that doesn't allow any panning for surround sources.
What can I do?!

Use An.mix Pro included in N.ndo, but you can also copy it in Cbse VST3 folder too, if you don't forget to copy the VST XMLs folder (IOS.NO GmbH) that go with it.

(Just an hypothesis: could it be possible that An.mix supersedes surround panner? So perhaps in suppressing Anmx, the surround panner could be back?

I don't really used it, but take note that this Anmix thing seems to be more sophisticated and complete than the old surround panner... Of course, it could be only a n000b impression...)

Anymix isn't supported by the extended elements (at least, it doesn't seem to integrate into the mixconsole and doesn't show up).
It works in the Pro/Artists, but the extended elements have the working/stable DC which is more important for me than the rest.

If you try to suppress anmix, suppress also the VST XMLs folder called "IOS.ONO GmbH" (without the dot).

And if you suppress it, don't forget to make a backup first, then suppress it everywhere. In all folders, everywhere in your hard drive.

You could try also to suppress all traces of "IO.SONO" or An.ymix (without the dots) in the registry.


-= ...OR you have a second option, without deleting anything:
copy An.ymix.vst3 in:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3

Then copy the folder:
C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Nuendo 10\VST XMLs\IOSONO GmbH

To:
C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase LE AI Elements 10.5\VST XMLs

And suppress all other instances of the An.y.mix.vst3.

I managed to make it appear in the VST list of Elements, but unfortunately it can't work, because Elements can't mix in surround at all!

The license problem set apart, surround is not implemented in Elements, so this is a dead end.

Try the patched N.ndo (non-DC) as it seems to work perfect with audio (only audio, the DC problem appears when you try to use instruments). It seems to be very stable, perhaps it will work well for you?

I think this is not an installation problem (I'm referring to anmix) because it works as an insert vst in elements, it simply doesn't show up as an "alternative" system panner. The latter mode works on Artists/Pro. I think this is a limitation of the elements version itself, like missing surround (without extender) or missing panning on sends (this even with extender) or offline/inplace rendering.
I simply would like to have the standard multipanner back as previously, but I can't figure out what's the culprit. :(

(btw, i did what you wrote... copying the vst and the xml... this made anmix work on Artists but not on elements... and I'm using the latest 10.0.40 extender by VR that extends the elements and optionally add Artists SX in the same folder... so the anmix installation itself is right because on Artists it works)

I think you could have surround panner back if you suppress all traces of anymix and copy the surround panner vst3 that is in the N.ndo and Cbse installation folder, inside the installation folder of Artist.

But nothing like this will work with elements.

Found the problem... the XMLs are not only on Cbase10\VST XMLs but *also* on program data\VST XMLs! and the ones that Cbase read are the ones in program data! For whatever reason, the installer didn't add the XMLs on program data. Now it works everywhere.
Anmix still works only on Artists/Pro (but it's still installed and elements works anyway with just only its multipanner).

Copying the XML into programdata and using "extracted" surroundpanner.vst3 (not the single file, but the extracted one with folder and files) worked. Now I have the surround panner available on each version (both elements and pro)

Don't know how to extract (7zip maybe? Haven't tried because I don't have it). I used the ones that comes with Cbase 10.5, available here (which have some other extracted vst3 like vintage plugins and cubase plugins-set)

question for nuendo 10.2.1 tempo:
when changing tempo the notes get move forward . how can i change this tempo to be like in cubase?
i got this behavior at the first installation.
i really want to use nuendo but this thing make me not to.

Don't take this as a complain, but while the "non-dc" version seems stable enough in general but almost "useless" without delay compensation (if you just add some plugins you need to manually compensate the delay on each track with the risk to forgot to compensate or if you add a new plugin in a chain, you need to reset the new delay value... too risky), the "dc" version is very unstable. Tested both 10.5 and 10 take 7... the latter is a bit more stable, but just adding a FabFilter Pro-Q3 in linear phase while playing a track (that creates a delay of more than 1s) is enough to make the program crash or make it totally unresponsive, at least in my case with AT13.
The only real stable DC version so far is the extended elements. Even the Artists by VR is totally unstable on the delay compensate side.

Hope in the future VR and the other nice guys here will be able to include the full pro license on the elic (if ever possible). Anyway I want to thanks all the guys and community here for the test and patience in trying new ways to release this software, it's surely a step forward in the right direction.

my cubase 10 cannot open, its said " DCOM connection to program because synsopos.exe failed, anti virus non active, defenders non active and i tried to reinstall it but still same, error synsopos.exe failed again2 n again, use back up syncrosoft in program data still nothing too, use revo uninstaller uninstall all and reinstall from beginning still same error, any solution? thanks

          open and disable all. (write which ones you passive because
          at last you will activate again)

02. * Click and install eLicenser Control Setup 6.11.9
          Restart pc

03. * install Microsoft Visual ++ 2015 Redistributable 2019 x64

04. * Click and install Soft-eLicenser Antitrial b10 *
          Check the box Additional Content Licenses (during install)
          Like in image (screenshot) on first page.
          But don't run the program

        Open C: / Program files
        (X86) to /syncrosoft/pos/synsopos.ex
        right click - properties - compatibility - click the box as
        "run program with administrator"
        Restart pc

05. * Cubase 10.5
         Click and install

         Open "O&O ShutUp 10" software
          and re-enable the boxes you have disabled
          That is all.

Have you tried to run C10 with administration rights?
Also, you can look in the Control Panel of Windows, search for "Administrative Tools", and in there double-click on "Services".
Look for "DCOM Server Process Launcher" and make sure that its launch is set to "Automatic", then start the service.

The same here, and I lost also an old license.I paste the back up files of ''Syncrosoft'' and ''eLinceser'' in Program Data but the error is still the same.
Any instructions from the skilled persons are welcomed.

edit:After so many times installing-uninstalling,getting the ''DCOM connection to program 'Synsopos.exe' failed'' error,finally the C10.5 worked.
Now I don't dare to open eLicenser to check if there is any license.What should I do?I want to download new stuff but....Any suggestion?

Hi, kind of corrupted my installation. Installed b14 bundle. Required eLicenser 6.11.10.

C10.5 works OK. N10 is broken. Many DCOM error messages when starting.

Softlicenser is broken. Asks to have it repaired, which fails.

Cannot install nor uninstall eLicenser 6.11.10 to go back to 6.11.9.

Any idea?
