Note: In Windows 7 x64, if you're experimenting an "Error, missing ilok authorization for pro Tools 10. please insert the necessary ilok and restart Pro Tools" make sure iLok drivers actually install, mine would not install over my old iLok drivers, solved it by doing this:
a) From Windows' Add or Remove Programs feature, uninstall any listing of "License Support" and "Interlok driver setup"
b) Reboot the system
c) Disconnect any iLoks connected to the system
d) Run and install Tpkdx64Setup.exe file found in the Drivers folder of the "PACE ILOK drivers installx64.zip" or the installx64.zip file linked here >> http://www.paceap.com/extensions/installers/x64/installx64.zip
It is very important that no anti-virus (especially Kaspersky) is running.
e) Restart the computer
f) Install LicenseSupportSetup64.exe file found in the Components folder of the installx64.zip file linked above. Again, make sure no anti-virus or internet monitoring software is running.
g) Restart the computer
For Windows 8 (I have not tried this but others have had success with this solution):
If you get error -9514, go to the unzipped Pro Tools installation folder, then Pro Tools Installer>ISSetupPrerequisites and install Avid Core Runtime, Avid HD Driver x64 and DigiDriver x64. Then run Pro Tools as administrator.

hi guys .......can someone tell me about this that when i record some notes on a instrument track and if i have to edit some notes ....why i am not able to keep note where i want to keep like in grid mode note dose not shift on that quantize where i want to keep but that shifts on next to next quantize ...i knw the deference in bar beats and quantize...but why its happening to me first time .......one more thing if i drag a midi loop frm stylus rmx that does not give the correct sound which i listen in stylus player.....pls help me thnx

Installed them all, yet i'm getting "Could not allocate memory blablabla" warning. Got 8Gig Ram and X6 1090T cpu with nearly 200gb free space. What should i do?

tested 10.3.2 again because so much of you said it was more stable, and to my dismay you are all wrong. Had a system lockup on me using 10.3.2 version. again everyone should stay on 10.3.0 for this.

Are you using RTAS or VST via FXpansion VST Wrapper ?

If you are using RTAS, remember to click "don't use TDM" and "don't use AU" on the start up screen for waves.

Once you have installed the latest ilok for Pro Tools, don't install any ilok that comes with any plugins, because it will probably be an older version and will cause problems. The plugins should work perfectly with the Pro Tools ilock.

I've been using rescan all plugins now i don't use tdm but nothing to happen and my favorite plugins dnt working and no sound thts it ... it's so bad =/

i have some problems with the cpu usage. there comes a little window which tells me that the cpu usage was to high and i should up the cpu capacity... but if i watch the cpu usage on the systemmonitor it is only on 30%. i have a 4 core intel i 7 k 2600 system i set pro tools to 3 processors at 99% usage, any tips on that?

the error number is 9128. this pops up when i use trilian when i change the patches... so maybe only a plugin related error?

When you have installed waves and then you start Pro Tools, the preference screen shows up as pro tools scans and loads the plugins. If however, you have clicked the message "don't ask me again" then the screen does not come up again on startup.

In this case hold down the shift key when you start Pro Tools and it will come up again.

Did you have an older version of waves on your system before you installed this version ?
This is in the .nfo

[Cleaning]
If you want to clean up the rigistry before installing,

1.Uninstall previous version.
2.Delete installation folder
3.Delete following registry keys below :

32bit : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Waves
64bit : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Waves

Check your video drivers, if you have the latest then you might have to try an older one.
Is the visual basic installed ?

If you have FXpansion vst wrapper use the tool that came with waves to unpack the wavesshell (It's described in the .nfo) and try loading a waves plugin this way.

Sorry but I can't think of anything else at the moment.

I have that problem too, especially with plugs like amplitube. Even legit users have that problem at times. Yet another Pro Tools issue!

i have solved the problem. maybe it will work for you. go to playback settings and check the box there. since then i have no more problems. hope this helps.

does anyone test it with HDcore PCI-X card in a native PCI mainboard????

Yes, a part of it working well (TDM), but i have problems with the playback engine.
Every few seconds the sound stops during playing an RTAS instrument via HD TDM audio
driver.
In every sampling rate and also in every buffer size.

With the Virus Indigo there aren't any problems.

Specs:

Asus P8 B75-V (3 PCI Slots)
Core i7 2700K
16GB RAM
Windows 7 (32 and 64 - both the same problem)
GeForce 8400GS
HD Core PCI-X and ACCEL PCI-X
96 i/o interface

Thanks for the tip...the ignore errors button did just that! I see that I still get an occasional cpu spike, but at least the error does not pop up.

Hi all,

VRv7+JTv5 works fine for me (thanks!!!), but Waves plug-in (v8 and v9) don't. Most of plug-in cut signals even as insert in a track or in a aux track. Another issue: text on plug-in controls assumes very strange value (such as 9999,9999). I use them in RTAS mode since I don't have a TDM system. Same thing in Audiosuite mode. VST mode in Nuendo works fine.
Do anyone have same problems?

If you are using a Windows 7 version, that has a non-US/English localisation,
try altering the regional settings as described on page 6 (fourth post from the top).
This works for some people.
