Note: In Windows 7 x64, if you're experimenting an "Error, missing ilok authorization for pro Tools 10. please insert the necessary ilok and restart Pro Tools" make sure iLok drivers actually install, mine would not install over my old iLok drivers, solved it by doing this:
a) From Windows' Add or Remove Programs feature, uninstall any listing of "License Support" and "Interlok driver setup"
b) Reboot the system
c) Disconnect any iLoks connected to the system
d) Run and install Tpkdx64Setup.exe file found in the Drivers folder of the "PACE ILOK drivers installx64.zip" or the installx64.zip file linked here >> http://www.paceap.com/extensions/installers/x64/installx64.zip
It is very important that no anti-virus (especially Kaspersky) is running.
e) Restart the computer
f) Install LicenseSupportSetup64.exe file found in the Components folder of the installx64.zip file linked above. Again, make sure no anti-virus or internet monitoring software is running.
g) Restart the computer
For Windows 8 (I have not tried this but others have had success with this solution):
If you get error -9514, go to the unzipped Pro Tools installation folder, then Pro Tools Installer>ISSetupPrerequisites and install Avid Core Runtime, Avid HD Driver x64 and DigiDriver x64. Then run Pro Tools as administrator.

Im getting the same problem with recording audio. I hit record and it seems to be recording...draws the wave pattern but when I hit stop then the clip disappears as if I never recorded. If I toggle to Destructive mode it records but then I get an Access violation 0x37C27000, and I have to reboot PT. However, if I highlight a start/end - punch in/out section, it will record just fine WITHIN the area shaded by punch points. At first I thought it was bcuz of installing the patch over v. 10.3.2 but it actually worked like a charm with the v3 patch...other than the recording not working. Still, I did a reinstall of 10.30 per instructions but get the same thing.
Thing is, it records fine on my old Lenovo laptop with Asio4All (Win7/32bit). Im having the problem with my M-Audio Profire 2626 (Win7/64bit), which didnt have a recording problem with the VR patch versions "7-10".
I have a legit PT10 so I even entertained what would happen with VR/JustTrying PT10HD with the Ilok ported. (?)

*UPDATE: On my Win7/64 setup it seems this recording error happens when recording to Broadcast Wav format (BWF), but records fine if I record to AIFF.

Hope my experience helps with any further work.

Thanks again JustTrying for sticking with this. In two hours I will be starting my Thanksgiving long weekend and am looking forward to really testing different parameters of this. wink

As I wrote before, the previous version was very much a work-in-progress. I tried approaching the issue in a different way, and it seems that it now records and does other stuff better.

Try this new one here (my v.5).
Important: it should also be run on top of VR's v7 patch for 10.3.0.

I am especially curious to hear what users like ampgroup11 (with access to different types of hardware) have to say about it.

Yo sailor man, the DLL, which is the core of the program, is and will remain 10.3.0, wherever you put it. No amount of spinach will change that. Personally, I prefer not mixing it with "surrounding files" of a different build, even though it may work for others.

(By the way, the previous versions from DepositFiles have been removed.)

Thanks again....I finally have been able to do some testing. V5 is working great so far. No errors yet. I've had a couple issues but I'm pretty sure it was due to Pro Tools itself. I have been having some ASIO issues with my Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 where it wants me to save and restart but again I think it is an issue between Pro Tools and the interface.

Recording issue seems to be solved.
Midi editing good so far with minimal testing.
Large projects running error free.
No issue with Waves plugins

Also, I removed my posts with the links to your older patches...hard
to keep up...but well worth it bro! wink

1 Hour session yesterday. (v3)
5 Hour session today. (v4, v5)

One issue on v4 where menu items got mixed up after opening and closing sessions (On save session command, windows from edit menu came up).

Decided not to follow this, as v5 was available.

3 hours of v5 was perfect. No issues at all.
It was all basic work. (Loading lots of different sessions, importing omf/aaf sessions from samplitude, converting, basic editing, midi editing, mixing, routing, vca groups and so on)

Will try do dig a bit deeper tomorrow.

Intel Dual Core 2x3g, Ati HD 4650, 2x Seagate 1TB, Terratec EWX 2496 + UA-25, WIN 7 x64 Ultimate, Asio4all 2.10

10.3.0 + VR b7 + JT v5 (v5 seems to be working with 10.3.1 and 10.3.2 as well, if you give them enough spinach !)

No need to reinstall 10.3.0, I think - just remove ProTools.dll, then copy ProTools.bin to ProTools.dll, then run VR7, followed by JTv5.

Would like to hear how this does on HDX, Venue and Accel!

Just did a session recording with heavy plugs, delay comp, disk cache, a million takes! Not a glitch!! Damn JustTryin....where were you a car payment ago?! headbang
FYI, there is a bug in the legit 10.30 version that caused pops at the end of takes. Fixed in 10.3.x

64ch. no errors , nothing till now , PTHD seems more responsive then patcherv3(slowly system issue)

HEAT would be cool if it could be cracked to be used natively. AAX would be the the icing on this pro tools cake though! Sounds like it's quite the monster to crack though.

Cheers again for all the work that's being put into this. I'm sure several, like myself, are very grateful and even a little astounded that these last few patches have achieved such success.

I was wondering, however, whether anyone's Bounce To MP3 is working? It hasn't worked for me despite clean installs of the latest JustTrying patches (Of which V5 has been otherwise flawless). Is there something I'm missing, or is this the norm?

Im on Windows 7 64 also, and am recording in BWF (WAV) Format, and it works for me. None of what you describes occur to me at all. I wouldn't blame the patch, it's a problem on your end (maybe your audio interface? settings? system?). I've been recording guitar on this setting for a while now, nothing like you described.

There is no working MP3 bounce patch for PT10. The PT8 mp3 bounce crack doesnt work either, near the end of the bounce using the pt8 patch, you get an error. Only way to bounce to mp3 is bounce to wav and select import to itunes, then from itunes, convert to mp3. One more step, so it's not a big deal.

masterJ: I had blazzfeem's recording problems myself with v3. So I completely rethought the patch. (It is actually patching some 15,000 functions.) In v4 I had patched too much, but v5 fixed that.

Mucundas: the reason I did not do a "full patcher" is because I do not want to detract from the fact that without Team VR's original work, this would have been impossible.

viceito: Solo copiar y renombre ProTools.bin si ya haba instalado el patch de TeamVR. De lo contrario instalar ProTools, instale el patch TeamVR y luego ejecutar JTv5.

AAX is not going to be easy, and Heat runs as an AAX plugin by itself, with its own excryption and protection. So I would not count on my fixing it, to be honest.
