Note: In Windows 7 x64, if you're experimenting an "Error, missing ilok authorization for pro Tools 10. please insert the necessary ilok and restart Pro Tools" make sure iLok drivers actually install, mine would not install over my old iLok drivers, solved it by doing this:
a) From Windows' Add or Remove Programs feature, uninstall any listing of "License Support" and "Interlok driver setup"
b) Reboot the system
c) Disconnect any iLoks connected to the system
d) Run and install Tpkdx64Setup.exe file found in the Drivers folder of the "PACE ILOK drivers installx64.zip" or the installx64.zip file linked here >> http://www.paceap.com/extensions/installers/x64/installx64.zip
It is very important that no anti-virus (especially Kaspersky) is running.
e) Restart the computer
f) Install LicenseSupportSetup64.exe file found in the Components folder of the installx64.zip file linked above. Again, make sure no anti-virus or internet monitoring software is running.
g) Restart the computer
For Windows 8 (I have not tried this but others have had success with this solution):
If you get error -9514, go to the unzipped Pro Tools installation folder, then Pro Tools Installer>ISSetupPrerequisites and install Avid Core Runtime, Avid HD Driver x64 and DigiDriver x64. Then run Pro Tools as administrator.

Como seria el pasos para instalar pro tools mas estable?
- instalar licensesupportsetup.
- instalar setup pro tools
- reiniciar o no el ordenador? se deberia reiniciar o no.

Not holding my breath for a cracked Pt 11, plus plugins will be AAX only which appears to be even tougher to crack. It would be cool to try PT 11 but there are so many great options for DAWS now a'days! wink

i only consider sonar together with PT the only DAWS worth using,i tried sequoia and it s just obscene,expecially considering its price,the plugins window is just childish and embarassing.Sonar is very good,although the midi import if very far from PT.I wrote a piece that changes tempo at every measure,and i wanted to try it in Sonar,,obviously i didn t feel like rewriting all the midi parts so i needed to import them.
well: with PT u can decide to import a midi file together with its poperties(tempo chages,key etc) in an already open project and the markers and rulers will adpt to it if u want;
in sonar,u cn t open a project and then import the midi files with all their setting,u have to open the midi files in a new project,very annoying.
the day someone will create a DAW with all the best features of Sonar and PT mixed in one i ll buy it

theoretically it works,but this crack is very buggy so don t waste your time trying to create a project with it

smitty, this app worked great for me for past 6 months.
Made many projects, recorded, imported and exported and used plugins etc. working good.
But it is hard to get running. Needs ASIO4ALL if no hardware, and setting up is not simple.
I run x64--but it is 32 bit program, so should work on win 7 32 bit.

smitty, using 10.3.0 with original Team VR patch and then patch JTv5 like maker of MF patch Justrying said and I think he should know. Works good for me on same win 7 sp1 64.

I wouldn't bet on that too soon PTPatty, but DP 8 is quite nice in the meantime, and at least we've got a bit of Pro Tools 10, thanks to vr and JT !! phones
