Note: In Windows 7 x64, if you're experimenting an "Error, missing ilok authorization for pro Tools 10. please insert the necessary ilok and restart Pro Tools" make sure iLok drivers actually install, mine would not install over my old iLok drivers, solved it by doing this:
a) From Windows' Add or Remove Programs feature, uninstall any listing of "License Support" and "Interlok driver setup"
b) Reboot the system
c) Disconnect any iLoks connected to the system
d) Run and install Tpkdx64Setup.exe file found in the Drivers folder of the "PACE ILOK drivers installx64.zip" or the installx64.zip file linked here >> http://www.paceap.com/extensions/installers/x64/installx64.zip
It is very important that no anti-virus (especially Kaspersky) is running.
e) Restart the computer
f) Install LicenseSupportSetup64.exe file found in the Components folder of the installx64.zip file linked above. Again, make sure no anti-virus or internet monitoring software is running.
g) Restart the computer
For Windows 8 (I have not tried this but others have had success with this solution):
If you get error -9514, go to the unzipped Pro Tools installation folder, then Pro Tools Installer>ISSetupPrerequisites and install Avid Core Runtime, Avid HD Driver x64 and DigiDriver x64. Then run Pro Tools as administrator.

what is your point being here if you don't like pro tools? You led yourself here, the title said "Pro Tools" in it. It's like me hating twilight, then going to the movies to watch twilight, and saying I have wasted my time. Why bother coming here in the first place? Anyway, enough with the "works on 10.3.1/.2/.3" crap we all know how that goes, instability. People, you've gotta read if you want things working.

Btw, JustTrying is a hell of a guy, taking his time to fix something Team VR abandoned for us people, I don't think you can do that.

I'm here like anyone...
I like pro tools, even if it's a bit redundant as a DAW. Still good in many aspects.That is why I put my 2 cents here.
Because it deserve more than a millions of annoying "beta patches" and all the mess that was already done cracking this way, because patching a dated buggy versions of a software is cheating and fooling and in detriment of a good experience with the software itself, and because all of these make in fact a horrible experience (look in the recent history, and begin with this thread for the records) and this not helping anything.
Words like "work for some people" it's not good enough. Also too many words like "try this", "it freeze" "I've got an error like" and so on...
If I subtract the bugs in my 10.3.0 I could say it's stable on my side, but I don't work in a dated software if I could have something better. So cut the romantic way of thinking and look around. It's ok to protect the passion and I respect that, but this patch, right now is just a half measure. For some, half measure is good enough, I'm here to tell it's not.If you're going to do something, then do it right. This is where you earn the respect. It's just the way I see things, especially when the big boys are out there, whispering great features and goodies in your back.
And yeah, is just my humble opinion...

+ I've said "stupid cases" and I wrote ignorant people referring to another comment, more like an irony. I'm not saying people are stupid and this is a huge difference if you ask me. So, the whole story is a bit stupid with all these "crying" people vs. what was actually delivered to them.
This is my last statement here, I'm not interested in a long debate, things are too obvious for my concerns.

Well this is your big chance ! Take as much time as you want to improve the patch, and while you are at it, you can remove the AAX protection, get the mp3 module to work, and heat would be nice too !

I don't want to be disrespectful, but if I understand what you are saying, then this would be the consequent way for you to emphasise your opinion, and turn it into action.

Does nobody of you have problems with the 9128 error? My CPU shows in the taskmanager a spike at 20% and pro tools brings an error message. If i check the box in the playback settings then i have dropouts... so what is the problem here?

it is powerfull enough, it has an i7 2600 k with 3,5mhz and 4 cores. also it is configured well, cause no of the other sequenzers made problems till now. And as i said the taskmanager shows an cpu usage of 20% so the power is not the problem.

I too have the occasional 9128 error but it has nothing to do with the patch. Legit PT10 users with monster computer rigs have had it too. Of course the first reply from Avid is to optimize your computer exactly as they specify. The next course of action (per Avid) would be to move all 3rd party plugins to the "unused plugin" folder. Then move them back one by one to see if a bad plugin is the cause. They say it could cause a problem even if it is not loaded into your project. I don't have a monster computer but it is good enough. I particularly notice it with as little as a single track running amplitube. I remember that before I loaded any 3rd party plugins, the demo song ran without a hitch. Still, some folks have tried everything and still have issues. It is something within the coding of Pro Tools that causes this to happen on a few computers. Some say that it was fixed with 10.3.2 but our version (with the patches) limits the core .dll to 10.3.0 coding even if we use 10.3.2 download. (I think) dunno

Anyway i have another question i have an ensoniq eps, i want to sync pro tools to the sequenzer on the eps. I can sync the eps to pro tools but not the other way. I tried all the settings, the ensoniq has no mtc i think it only has mmc but no matter which setting i use in pro tools i cant get pro tools to start if i press play on the eps. Anyone a idea?

exactly, tha's why Im using patch 9, the only issue I had with Pro tools on w8 pro x64, was getting to work Xpand2, but I could fix it.
