Note: In Windows 7 x64, if you're experimenting an "Error, missing ilok authorization for pro Tools 10. please insert the necessary ilok and restart Pro Tools" make sure iLok drivers actually install, mine would not install over my old iLok drivers, solved it by doing this:
a) From Windows' Add or Remove Programs feature, uninstall any listing of "License Support" and "Interlok driver setup"
b) Reboot the system
c) Disconnect any iLoks connected to the system
d) Run and install Tpkdx64Setup.exe file found in the Drivers folder of the "PACE ILOK drivers installx64.zip" or the installx64.zip file linked here >> http://www.paceap.com/extensions/installers/x64/installx64.zip
It is very important that no anti-virus (especially Kaspersky) is running.
e) Restart the computer
f) Install LicenseSupportSetup64.exe file found in the Components folder of the installx64.zip file linked above. Again, make sure no anti-virus or internet monitoring software is running.
g) Restart the computer
For Windows 8 (I have not tried this but others have had success with this solution):
If you get error -9514, go to the unzipped Pro Tools installation folder, then Pro Tools Installer>ISSetupPrerequisites and install Avid Core Runtime, Avid HD Driver x64 and DigiDriver x64. Then run Pro Tools as administrator.

i think you wrong,2 of my friends have pro tools(cracked) working without any issue,i just installed pro tools in my pc and already did some tracks without any crash or issue,hope it keep working fine.

the pro tools version that i installed is the one from this thread and is working fine for me.the crack is working fine,only i did was to download PACE drivers from another place.

sometimes you have to search how to make some software work in your pc,sometimes you have luck sometimes not.

Sigh... As one user said, here we go again. Mr. Hex Editor told me that this is the same thing as before, with only its resources patched. Nothing new there. BUT in the mean time I found several places where the MF call originated. Stand by!
It seems that the call can emanate from many places. Several thousand places, actually!

Try the one on the next page and let me know. Run it in the ProTools install directory. It is supposed to be put directly over the original TeamVR patched DLL. NOT the one with the "funny" texts (the one from Mukundas and Anonymous).

Here comes Pro Tools 10 (Beta 11) JT Patch. Use the vr beta patch 7, then the JT one bit modification, followed by beta patch version 8 anonymous, slowly move over to beta patch 9 by mukundas, and bang on beta patch 10 by mukundas mainly done by anonymous. This is beginning to sound like Microsoft !

difference with justtrying, he actually know what the hell he is doing and he actually is the only one taking pro tools apart. this mukundas kid just packed the crap he downlaoded online into this "pack". Plus, everyone has based their patch off of Just Trying's method, he is the originator of all this. If no one knew of that offset, well still be shit out of luck. Thanks justtrying!

I totally agree with you ! JustTrying is our only hope at the moment, and without him,this story would have ended about 700 posts earlier. I just hope he doesn't get overwhelmed by the 2,000 changes to be made. He's certainly got plenty of beta-testers if he needs them. I can handle a hex editor to a certain extent, but I can't really trace things down with them, just simple things that's all. So I can only offer to test any resulting patches.

Thanks, guys - see 5 posts up - I updated that one. It's a kind of brute-force thing, as I like elegant one-byte patches. This has thousands of changes. You see, what iLok/MegaFortress does is make a LOT of tiny changes to the program with small checks all over, pointing their obfuscated jump addresses at the MF Error and the Authorization Error subroutines, both dead-ends. Kind of like the nanomites in the Armadillo protection (but only kind of). The single byte change before was a happy long shot: as I said, someone at Pace should have sweaty palms right now. Anyway, give the one above a try. (And no, I am not with any group, I am just trying to make it work - kind of like a crossword puzzle).

Holy shit boys!!! I think JusTrying has done it!! I have not had the time to run a lot of tests but....I tried the strip silence thing that ALWAYS gave me Access Violation errors.....NOT THIS TIME with this new patch. Not sure if it may crash down the road but so far....this is absolutely the best yet.

Yep I can confirm it is working so far. And Strip Silence no longer shows pop-ups when changing the threshold slider.

High five masterjJ! dance This is awesome. I feel like we are the only ones to discover a treasure! Like I said, the big thing for me was doing Strip Silence on a big piece of audio, used to give me access violations galore. I can move the sliders on strip silence all day now with NO ERRORS AT ALL. Fingers crossed that it remains stable with no crashes but so far this is insane!!!!!!!!!!!
