While the most obvious applications of these percs, basslines and atmospheres would be bass music, dubstep and half step dnb, wobbly fx and one shot motifs call to mind video game sound design and the hyperpop of PC music. Genres aside, Pressure Density reflects an era of bass music dedicated to sound design, where producers like Henzo are bringing creative synthesis to the forefront of their craft.

Inspired by contemporary classical works by Stars of the Lid and William Basinski, Celestial Brass approaches the french horn and flugelhorn as source material for rich sonic tapestries to be interpreted anew. Ambient tone clusters and lush horn harmonies are highlight of the pack, bringing nuanced orchestration to future productions. Solo and one shot material, split into processed and unprocessed renderings for maximum flexibility, are of course featured as well, captured by ribbon and tube mics such as the Royer and Warm Audio WA-67.

Initial Clipper is a free soft clipper plugin which prevents your audio signal from going above zero decibels. It does this by smoothing the peaks with soft clipping starting from the threshold. The faster and higher the peaks the more you need to bring down the threshold to get a pleasing sound. Initial Clipper comes with a very handy (and cool looking) peak display. Any peaks that enter the threshold area will have soft clipping applied, hence smoothing them out and taming the loudness. We also added extra saturation. Because who doesnā€™t want more saturation!?
