Interesting synth. With 4x unison, it can make a mean supersaw. Messing wih the noise oscillator + resonance and ringmod, you can really match the brightness of a JP8080 supersaw.

The Osc Sync seems a bit unwieldly, harder to achieve the characteristic sync sound. But I didn't try for long.

Filter FM seems cool once you figure out how it works. The filter drive is great for distorted sounds.

All in all, it's a solid package for a more simple traditional synth. Sometimes simple is all you need.

Any synth without a LFO multimode modulator is not perfect for beginners.

Is it extra bold because they copied the GUI of the new ReFx Vanguard with some extra boldness?

before vanguard was released nakst already had this GUI design. so cant be stealing.

also reFX GUI design is quite basic.

It looks nothing like Vanguard.... and it sounds nothing like vanguard. Unlike Vanguard it's a real synth, not a tone2 wave file player.
