Hey guys!!!!!! (only serious abt pro tools ) I would like to tell u on thing that i think every version of pro tools hd only 10.3.0 and 10.3.1 both frm avid site or frm any torrent and even frm audioz .the protool dll file is programed with mf error ...u can check in hex editor open pro tools dll and find for mf:application has been compromised .you`ll find that the dll is programmed with this error.(even that dll which becomes replaced with orignal protools dll which install by team v.r patch)........so if u any one smart guy can work on this error then we can solve this problem......it does`nt matter that we have protools 10.3.0 or 10.3.1 it matters that we should have a working version.before this release all u wer workin on pro tools 8le or m powered or 7.4 which is free and today we have 10 hd then we are looking only for 10.3.1 why ???????????????work on this man we can do it

and now i need an expert,i think it s actually possible having version 10.3.1 and see it when the program is launched,but:the thing to do would be copying the PT folder with all its dll's;installing version 10.3.1; eventually make a mix of both folders,but since the PT folder is quite crowded,someone more expert than me should tell me what dll's to replace

I'm by far no expert but I'm not sure it matters which .dll files are in place, if the protools.exe is 10.3.0, it will load as such. I did try using the patched protools.dll file with the original 10.3.1 .exe file and got the ilok error. By using the original protools.dll 10.3.1 file and the patched 10.3.0 .exe file I got a multitude of fatal errors!

i don t really know,it s just my theory,but i remember it worked when i did this trick with sibelius 6,but that was another problem

but lets try to reason starting from what we know:
the installer from the Avid site is the same for PT ans PT hd,now the question i:why is the version that gets installed by default is PT and not the HD version?

Changing those lines in the hex editor will do nothing. You need some real stuff like ollydbg to change those things, if you can find the correct lines. At best, if you try changing those MF error lines, it will stil lappear but instead of saying "MF: Application has been comprmised" it will say whatver you replace it with, so if you put all blanks, the only thing that will pop up is a blank box, but it will still fuck up pro tools.

Thank you si much for this release. For those who asking why people still use ProFools...i have a DIGI002 since 2000 and i was on XP32bit and PT 7.4. Update to win7 and now i can't use my DIGI anymore without earing popping and crackles in Cubese while recording.
So...that's why i need PT10 but i don't want to give money to AVID. I give them a lot of money in the past!

For the MF error...i've installed C++,it goes automatically and as someone notes,i have worked for five hours without any problems...if i don't open Media Player before opening PT. If i open Media Player before opening PT,after 10 minutes or so the MF error comes out and a reboot is needed.

So far so good,hoping to see a stabile version of this sw.

It seems that works good. Midi doesn't works well,but i use an USB keyboard so problems are gone. DIGI002 is recognized immediately and i've recorded something stupid to see if i ear cracks like in Cubase. The recording sessions are perfect.
The only thing that is driving me crazy is that i can't switch to S/PDIF to input the sound via ISA220. It has always worked on WIN XP. I'have tested the units (DIGI and ISA) separately and all is good. I can switch in PTools the clock to S/PDIF with same bit depth and frequency but what i ear is only noise!

I'm investigating...

MF:application has been compromised. now i think this only the compatibility problem fully update of window seven may be the solution for this error.

you can downlaod the trial without an ilok. make up a fake ilok username, it works everytime.

first you would needs to know what MF error message are ! you can save your time every pro tools version since v9 has it ! why ? the MF error message are an extra protection to iLok2 which is called MegaFortress ! the error message appear sometimes on some systems because PT with the extra protection scans the code and see that PT10 are cracked !

second about Strike , strike has also iLok protection ! even if someone would crack it for you the Strike software you can not use any of the presets or content ! the content files (.big files) have another extra protection too and are encrypted !

Beta 8 does exist but it wasn't released and probably will never be unless Zetas would like to throw us a bone wink . Beta 7 wasn't released either, it was leaked. Since PT 10.3.1 has been released, I would assume Team VR would be working on that unless they gave up on it. It would be great to see a final wink
