MF DOOM comes and F's up your progress... damn oh well... just wanna say cheers to everyone who contributed on this thread, thanks to the user (I forget who it was) for that photoshop piece "special MF edition" pro tools v10.5 lols hahahahahah damn I needed that! hahahhaah I'm still chuckling over that one hehe.

And thanx also to PTPatty for your diplomacy and not letting this thread get derailed... you are awesome. And everyone else who contributes and doesn't try to come across as though 'they're geniuses and no one else is therefore no one else deserves a helping hand' ...bless.

Hello here's my spanglish lol

1.- Unistall and erase all pro tools software and features and folders
2.- Install Pro tools 10.3.0 and (if you want) avid instruments
3.- Aply patch
4.- Right click on Pro tools desktop icon and select "Windows 7" in "Run this program in compatibily for"
5.- Check "Dont use visual themes"
6.- Check "Disable desktop composition"
7.- Block all access to internet, ZoneAlarm is good for me, i'm warning of all internet access attempts
8.- Active ASIO V2 or the ASIO driver of your audio interface on pro tools(Lambda Asio in my case) with 1024 samples
8.- I think splwow64, run how administrator, aux sends, etc etc etc no are the problem, but learn how to use them.
9.- FIRST SEND TO A BUS 1-2 (FOR EXAMPLE) AND THEN CREATE A AUX AND PUT ON INPUT BUS 1-2
AND NO GIVE ModaFuckin ERROR
10.- BE HAPPY

TESTED AND IT WORKS ON DELL XPS 17, WINDOWS 7, NVIDIDA 550M, 8 GB RAM, 500 HD, LEXICOM LAMBDA.

sorry but magically turning off or running a printer service as admin isnt going to fix things. splwow64 is just printing service, ve tried all these things such as run as compatiblity, etc. sorry these tricks are proven to not work.

My Bootcamp Win used to freeze upon the MF error. I suspect it was due to buggy plugins and my Mac external drives recognized by Windows and messing with Pro Tools. I disabled the Mac journaled drives in Windows, re-installed my plugins (deleted buggy ones) and now when the MF error appears, my computer doesn't crash anymore.

Yeah, I can continue to work after a couple MF errors if I don't click on the error iteself, however, after it comes up 3 or 4 times it freezes.

Just try "FRESH Install", and Start the first time PTHD10.3 with no plugins , then , install plugins one by one , pack by pack . some plugins seems freeze PTHD [k] , if you have MF error, click OK, and restart PT, cause if you "pass it" the MF Error should damage your .PTS(session icon) or not ..

sorry for my poor englsih , i"m brazilian guy with a great portuguese :)

lets wait for a BETA Patch8/9 or a final release!

I can confirm this is a REAL FILE, because the MP3 Activation is WORKING. It shows up as 10.3.1 for me, and using aux sends again, so far no MF errors. People try and test it out. I know I am. Ill update you guys if there are any errors. Anonymous did you do this? Or did someone else release this cracked update? It's working fine so far. No mf errors YET.

It was worth a try but after about 1 hour the MF error appeared with Anonymous's crack file. Mp3 worked fine, but the MF error still appears, and if you click ok on it, Pro Tools is frozen. So it does not work, only the MP3 activation does.
