did the same thing. have you tried making a stereo aux track, routing an audio track to that using a send? then while the audio plays through the aux, rapidly adjusting the fader volume up and down,then moving the aux track window around. it will give you an mf error (ive done this plenty of times and get mf error). try it. i have 10.3.1 and used the patch and it says 10.3.0 on startup but the mf error is still there. try doing what i said above and see what happens. disabling autosave doesnt work either.

your download installs PT 10.3.1.once u install the patch to make it HD,it gets back to version 10.3.0,that s why u read 10.3 and not 10.3.1

Did everything you said. No MF error! I moved fader rapidly, moved aux track around rapidly, I tried to make it crash but it didn't. I have not played with my settings much. Not sure why it's working for me but happy that it is!

This will only work if you have a pro tools 10 license.If you want to use 10.3.1 don't run the patch.Copy ProTools.dll from Pro Tools HD patch (beta 7) and it will work and you will have all HD features.

Dude, I'm wondering if you work for Avid! I had "great success" (insert Borat voice) but tried your suggestion and ....Ilok error pops up on start. Uninstalled everything. Clean install of 10.3.1, ran patch and running great. No MF error!!!! JK, about first remark. It's cool...maybe working for you?....

I installed patch from V.R. from this website. Is there another patch that is HD10? If so, haven't seen it...What is "normal" version of PT 10? All I can say is, after re-installing PT 10.3.1 and then running original VR patch, things running better than ever.

Yes, that's exactly what I did. It does show 10.3.0 on splash but, for whatever reason, no MF error. Been playing around with it for a few hours. I'm not a "newbie" fwiw. Waves plugs running fine as well. I don't claim to have the knowledge to understand the improvement...maybe just on PT end...but, working great for me so far. Your mileage may vary, I guess...

sorry i didn t mean to doubt,but according to what u reported,i assume that installing version 10.3.1 fixed some bug in version 10.3.0,and when u installed the HD patch it got back to version 10.3.0 but without the MF error,that was solved by the update,although the version running is 10.3.0 and not 10.3.1.

boltor,Hi,I followed your way but the mf appeared after 1 minute. I installed 10.3.1, but after patch is back in 10.3.0. how do I get 10.3.1, after patching the beta 7? Scuse me for bad english and thanks team vr and all you guys.

I'm not sure using patch from VR sets everything back to 10.3....I do know that looking in install folder it shows almost all files updated to 10.3.1. Not sure if that impacts the EXE file or not...I can just report that after running update, I'm not getting the MF error anymore. Can't explain why...not sure if things have been updated or not...just working...

no, mf appeared during a session with a few tracks and one send. This way don't working for me. Test your pro tools in coming days and let us know. Hardlock,How did you get the version 10.3.1, with the beta patch 7?

you install 10.3.1 from avids site, run the patcher. that's it. beta 7 patch works with 10.3.1, but when you run it on the screen it will say 10.3.0, but it is still 10.3.1, and again 10.3.1 does NOT fix mf error on my side, so OBVIOUSLY it's not a fix.

HOW did you get mp3 enabled?? and how did you get it to say 10.3.1? i installed the 10.3.1 update then used beta 7 patch vr, NO MP3 and it says 10.3.0!

Sorry Hardlock, I think you're full of S**t You've been very evasive about how you've managed to get 10.3.1 update to show on splash, .mp3 working, etc. No one else has been able to accomplish this except you. I don't buy it. Submit a detailed, step-by-step on how you were able to this. "lucky, I guess"?...I don't think so...

Yipiiii!!!! I got rid of the MF error... now I don't get the message anymore, but the computer just freezes without any warning at all. Grrrrr!!!!!

I'm running 10.3.1 with Patch Beta 7 on Bootcamp for Mac. It freezes at about 20 min. of use.

Upon a registry cleanup, the report says two entries are corrupt at the following location every time: DigiMIDIServices 1.0 Type Library.

I am not running anything on this Windows install except PT, Kontakt 5, Waves 9 and a few other plugs. I have no antivirus, Internet access or any third party programs except TuneUp Utilities, WinRAR, and Power ISO. I was running PT on my Digi 002 console. I'll try ASIO4All for a while to see if it happens again.

Ok, so Pro Tools 10 works fine with me, the only problem is that when I'm loading it, it can't seem to load some of the plugins such as VeriFi.aaxplugin. Does anyone have this fixed? By the way I'm running v10.3
