Pro Tools HD 10.3.9 for Mac [WORKiNG] screenshot
Mac OSX | 02.06.2014
Pro Tools 10 software is the latest version of Avid's flagship music creation and audio production software, and delivers many great new features.
Speed up editing and mixing workflows with Clip Gain.

Work more easily with AudioSuite-rendered clips with reverse processing handles and other new workflows.
Get great responsiveness on slower hard drives with the enhanced disk handler.
Work with more plug-ins and maintain total phase accuracy with 4x more Automatic Delay Compensation (16k vs. 4k in Pro Tools 9).
Create bigger mixes in Pro Tools HD, with higher track counts.
And get over 500 new Pro Tools commands when using
Artist Series, System 5, and other EUCON-enabled consoles.

Just in case Avid changes the protection
(or you get paranoid downloading from avid )
I made a mirror of the 10.3.9 installer available as of now, you'll find it in the peeplink.

Be sure to watch the video and to read the readme.rtfd included.
(famous Apple's text format that stands for Read The Fucking Document)

This crack is finally working, the only downside is that you must use
the fade tool to create fades, if you use the menu item "Create Fades"
or the shortcut cmd+F it crashes, so don't try, btw the fade tool
is the easiest and fastest way to create fades in PT so you should use that anyway.

Fix Notes:
Many people faced problem with the previous patch+loader,
I made a mistake to share it on the wave of enthusiasm,
it was in a too early stage and not fully working.

Now we think this can be declared a final crack,
openssh spotted the pseudo-random iLok checks and circumvented the CRC checks,
it's now totally usable unlike the previous partial crack.
The new loader should be fool-proof. Just follow instructions.

Reversing and patch scripting by openssh.
Loader applet by copylefter.

Have fun!

The loader is not working properly, try to chmod it.
You on Mavericks right?
Also when you quit PT wait a bit before relaunching,
sometimes the patcher can't patch cause probably it still see
the addresses already patched in unreleased ram from previous load I wonder.
Here I can do any-friggin-thing without make it crash.
The only way it's to cmd+F. Hor/Vert/Waveform zooming working.

hi, thank you for your hard work. are you guys working on fix for this fade problem? i don't know how to change shape of fade without cmd+f and it's quite essential feature because, of course, logarithmic fade sounds different than linear and so on...
Is it true that in this K'ed version i won't be able to open PT 9 sessions without importing session data?

Yeah, the fades can't be edited after you create em.
Also, don't double click a crossfade as it open
the Fade window and crashes just like if you cmd+f.
Read everybody:
If you don't want linear fades and prefer log fades or whatever,
you can change default cross-fade and fade modes
via preferences, but then you have to stick to the kind of fade you choose there.
(nothing stops you to change the default preference on the fly btw, it's a pita but viable)

look at this picture.
CHANGiNG FADES PREFS

As many said, yes, it seems that it can't open sessions created on older versions.
I'm waiting for someone to send me an empty PT8/9 session
to have a look. If some good soul can help here I'll be happy to check.
A session with a 2 seconds audio file inside is enough. (PM in case)

hi, there's PT 9 session with a stereo file, video track, insert with EQ on it and a fade. i can't test it myself because I'm stuck with 10.6.8 (because of PT 9) and I'm still not sure whether update to 10.9 and move to this sweet PT 10...I have to be sure that it's working because I would be screwed otherwise. :)

ahahahh that's it. Also some machines takes a little longer
for the loader to patch everything, so be patient, come on
you just have to wait 20 seconds

Is it normal that I have nothing into instrument plugin folder? (stuff like xpand, mini grand)

Instruments comes with a separate installer.

got it working, but i realize it has a bug. it won't open older .ptf sessions created in 8 or 9 or 10 without the authorization error popping up. it only opens .ptx sessions

Easy solution is to open protools without using the loader then save it as a ptx file then close and re-open with the loader. Bingo!

Just a little issue! sometimes the time is running out before i am able to load a session. Is it possible to interrupt this countdown?
  Resident 2.05.2011 118 2610
+13063
jeez, I thought 3 minutes was enough.
Here it takes barely 20seconds.
Now I'm in the middle of installing Mavericks to see if I can fix mavericks issue,
it will take at least 3-4 hours, till then I can't check anything sorry.
I'll send you a modified loader with countdown set to higher value asap ok?
Check your PM later today

Oh cool, this would be great! I have a lot of plugins, thats why it takes longer to load. And until i am able to open a session i have only 5 seconds left. I little button to turn of the countdown would be great ;-)

Would you guys be so kind and try 5.1 for me? Is it working?
  Resident 9.05.2014 1 503

Confirmed working on Hackintosh 10.8.5.
It has now been confirmed as working on both Mountain Lion and Mavericks by many people here.

The instructions are extremely simple to follow and there is also a video so, before you post a "not working comment" go back and start again.

It is very important that you use "Keka" to unarchive the files - it's free so no excuses.
Then you must run batChmod on both the loader and the Protools[k] file.

A note for the special people:
The protools file that copylefter provides is not labeled with a [k]
so if you don't want to mix them up and cause issues by renaming the file, I'd suggest using a coloured label.

Only one odd thing for me now though:
When I run the loader I get an error message:
"error occurred while trying to load the controller personality mbox 3".

It doesn't stop Protools from functioning as HD and the mbox still work fine.

I've googled it and it has something to do with moving files around within the application folder.
It is my fault because instead of overwriting the original protools app I moved it to a separate folder just in case I needed to go back to it.
The only way to get rid of this is to re-install from scratch and start again but I can't be bothered for now so i'll just "OK" the error message because the loader works absolutely fine.

Thanks again copylefter.

Thank you for your report mate.
Yesterday I was like
I had the fear we skipped some checks as people were reporting
ilok errors again, but it turned out to be end user fault
or loader not working correctly (wonder why...for user fault or Mavericks fault)...

Last night I closed the first serious mix with PT10 and worked perfectly for 3.5 hrs.

I've just done a test assembly of location sounds for a 30 minute tv show using the field recording workflow and it works like a charm, plus I can now have multiple video files which is very handy for doing picture change re-cuts etc.

As I mentioned before - Shame about fades because I use them a lot. But hey, I'm happy as Larry with this.
I'll just use it to do my assemblies and re-cuts then go back to PT10 to edit.

Incidentally, I didn't really need to keep the original protools app file after all.
If I run the one you supplied without the loader it works just fine as standard protools, so I'll use that for my editing.

Trouble with Avid is that they have such a large void between standard and HD.
I only really needed the two features I mention (field recordings and multi vid).
I'm farked if I'm gonna shell out £3,000 just for those 2 little add ons.
It took years for them to give non HD users timecode..

Ah well, their loss I guess

quote by Alexyzzwell it works on SL.. the only problem i had found is that when try´n to do the space bar bigger, session crashes !!! but haven´t noticed any more bugs...

Were you able to launch Pro Tools in Snow Leopard using the loader? The Loader does not work for me. Any help is appreciated:-)

Note! The Loader is a 64 Bit Application.
If you have a 32 Bit Cpu (Core 2 Like me), it's no go.

There is a way to hack SL into booting in 64 bit mode - you have to mess with the kernels.

My Webpage
or
My Webpage

Although I'm not sure it will help in this case.

I have a legit PT10 running on a 10.6.8 partition BTW.

You could also try right clicking the loader and select run in 32 bit mode.
Haven't tried it with the loader but I have done it once with another DAW because I had a mixture of 32 and 64 bit plugins which prevented the DAW from starting.

I'm running this on a core 2 Duo at the moment but with Mountain Lion.
So to say core 2 duo is a 32 bit only processor is wrong as I believe Mountain Lion is a 64 bit only OS.

Easies solution for you would be to upgrade your OS to Mountain Lion, or even install it onto a separate partition so you can keep Snow Leopard.
At a cost of $20 or £14 if you like, I think it's money well spent.

My test on 10.7.5
Rock solid on every thing, but Cmd+F, and open-close Session (quit PT and restart from Loader)
Open earlier session (PT9) crash.
Great!!!
Thanks
