I made a mirror of the 10.3.9 installer available as of now, you'll find it in the peeplink.

Be sure to watch the video and to read the readme.rtfd included.
(famous Apple's text format that stands for Read The Fucking Document)

This crack is finally working, the only downside is that you must use
the fade tool to create fades, if you use the menu item "Create Fades"
or the shortcut cmd+F it crashes, so don't try, btw the fade tool
is the easiest and fastest way to create fades in PT so you should use that anyway.

Fix Notes:
Many people faced problem with the previous patch+loader,
I made a mistake to share it on the wave of enthusiasm,
it was in a too early stage and not fully working.

Now we think this can be declared a final crack,
openssh spotted the pseudo-random iLok checks and circumvented the CRC checks,
it's now totally usable unlike the previous partial crack.
The new loader should be fool-proof. Just follow instructions.

Reversing and patch scripting by openssh.
Loader applet by copylefter.

I DL original installer from Avid unpacked with Keky the Kéd App and loader. I installed the first point in the the installer (non hd ...) give access to assisted devices .....like in the release b4 i cant create new dokument ....pro tools installation corrupted......I am on latest marverick on Imac ... :-( Had hopes but not working because of this damn " failed to create new dokument...
Another strange thing. i don´t have this untiteled.ptx on my mac ....i think because of this installation corrupted....but why can´t find the solution

Man, untitled.ptx is just a test session I created, you can't have it.
Replaced with k'd app ? Otherwise that's the behavior, corruption error on session opening.
Same behavior if you launch from ProTools and not from loader.
You sure it's non HD install?

I got it to work after a little bit of inet research on the failure text..... you have to press N while starting PT then you get to the I/O settings changed it from Airplay (!?) to my Tascam Us122 MKII and then it worked ..so far no problems only a crash ...this piece is a little bit unstable ;-) But maybe my soltion is helpful for other users !

A simple crash or a auth/crc error? Cause I was able to make it simply crash
on a legit version with iLok too, with just a heavy stress test.
I'm still trying to kill it to no avail (like 5+ hours running now).
Here's a little video, it's running like this for the last 5hrs.

(just trying to toggle one single bus send on/off that fast
would have called iLok check on the previous non-working crack.)
Also, I'm used to Logic and I must say I can instantiate a shitload more plugs
and more audio tracks on this than in LPX before running out of power.
It seems really strange to me but that's it. Waay snappier than PT9 too.

I accidentally turned my speaker on while that mess was playing,

Maybe you didn't use Keka to unarchive the files?

I downloaded the PT from the site/Replaced the (K) PT/added the loader into the PT folder. When I double click the loader it does nothing. :(

If you just did what you say, that you may read the readme again.

Sorry for that... Didn't know I must extract it with Keka (I extracted it with Unarchiver, WinRar, WinZip, etc. and all didn't work).. But now, it's working well !!!

Haven't had time to try it yet.
I was wondering what might be causing the crash when using the fade shortcut...
I generally use the keyboard shortcuts more so than the mouse when editing, shame it crashes on fades but i'll take that as long as field recording workflow and multiple video tracks work.
Does fade shortcut still crash it if keyboard focus commands are enabled?

Yeah, no way to use shortcut for fades as of now.
The iLok checks are circular so to circumvent one,
you must leave the corruption check untouched for another function (fade here).
Patching fades to work will cause iLok check patch not to work anymore.
(Not really exact, is a bit more technical, but to make it simple look at it this way)

Oh and thanks to you, after 3 years I have finally been forced into upgrading to Mountain Lion - something I wasn't really relishing with being a hackintosher. However, I managed to sort it out with relative ease so I'm chuffed.

for assistive devices.

thank you so much for this works fine on mavericks here as well.

only way i get any authorization error is by opening with the regular pro tools app and not the loader.

Even then it still works fine. I just have to click "ok" on the auth error when i'm done.

Not sure if this is normal or if there is any benefit to opening with the loader, but overall all is well here. Thanks COPYLEFTER!

No mate, it was just the loader that have already patched the protools framework,
otherwise it can't work, it will crash on right click and so on.
It was still patched in memory when you run it

Very big thanks to copylefter for this. Been waiting a while for the opportunity to explore pro tools.

Having an issue right from the get go. Installation keeps failing from the dmg. It doesn't always open the dmg as it says invalid checksum error or image not recognized and if I do get it to open on occasion the installation always fails. I tried resetting permissions on the installer but its the same problem. Is anyone else having this problem or have any ideas?

Thanks a lot for the long awaited release. Looking forward to getting it working and having a good play around.

Re-download the original installer and try again.

In the other partition some functions doesn't work cause
the binary is not patched but the framework is,
Just do a clean install and it would be ok on both systems

My problems: every time i open PT need to be patched.... i have try batchmod in launcher but nothing... and mbox 2 is not in the I/O list, i have installed the latest Mbox_2_USB_10_3_3_Driver_79050 on osx 10.8.5. Any suggestion? thanks.

What you mean with needs to be patched? Mmm I have an mbox2 and it works here,
make sure the drivers are the right ones, there's a driver especially made for 10.8.5.
