Be sure to watch the video and to read the readme.rtfd included.

This crack is finally working, the only downside is that you must use
the fade tool to create fades, if you use the menu item "Create Fades"
or the shortcut cmd+F it crashes, so don't try, btw the fade tool
is the easiest and fastest way to create fades in PT so you should use that anyway.

Fix Notes:
Many people faced problem with the previous patch+loader,
I made a mistake to share it on the wave of enthusiasm,
it was in a too early stage and not fully working.

Now we think this can be declared a final crack,
openssh spotted the pseudo-random iLok checks and circumvented the CRC checks,
it's now totally usable unlike the previous partial crack.
The new loader should be fool-proof. Just follow instructions.

Reversing and patch scripting by openssh.
Loader applet by copylefter.

Another issue i found: If you create a stereo aux send from a mono track, protools crash with "Pro Tools 10 cannot run because it is corrupted. Please try reinstalling the product."

Nonono, something wrong with the loader,
can create stereo sends in mono tracks and vice-versa.
I gave up for the moment dling/installing Mavericks,
my connection is totally unstable today and crapstore
fail connection (for security reasons I wonder) with error 1004.
I wanna kick some Apple's asses.
I go back to old session testing now, give me some time
(I must eat, once in a while ) and I send you the loader with longer timeout.

Ok, guys, did a lot of test
(like trying to save with the same name of a recent session
and then reopen that way after changing extension, and many more tests),
to no avail, opening older session is not possible.
You have to import them into a new one.
They have something embedded that call checksums when opening.
So there's nothing to do. Apart from importing which works.

For the unable to open older session files problem, for me the Protools[k] file runs as standard protools when opened without the loader... So just run the protools[k] app without the loader, open the old session file and hit save then quit protools[k].
Restart protools[k] with the loader and you should be able to open the file provided you've saved it as a ptx file.

bitslicer is giving me an error in the final patching stage saying..

PTTENTHREENINE.slice can be found .. file doesnt exist.

but it does inside the loader file. its 4K in size.

downloadeed thrice. same error.

made read write in the loader as well as the ked app.

what is wrong copylefter.

The loader is not doing its work.
If that file can't be found you either have your loader in
a different location from where it has to be (pro tools folder),
or it got corrupted when extracting and that file was missed.
use keka, enable assistive devices, loader in pt folder etc.

checked all 3. i m doing all 3 bro..

only thing i can think now is a corrupt file PTTENTHREENINE.slice.

so i m dwnlding again.. i shall do it..

protools is working though in the background.. it plays n i can t put plugins etc etc

but when i bus tracks to an aux. it crashes.

i beleive thi is happ as the patching process is not complete as it is on your video..

Mavericks users, please try this and report
(I can't test myself on mavericks at least until tomorrow).
Run the terminal commands as instructed in the document.
That should force enable access for assistive devices
and force run the loader for the first time, then it should work.

mmm, if I haven't seen that SIGTRAP in the log I would have thought it's one
of the problems people is facing on Mavericks.
When you got the original installer? From Avid or my uploaded link?
I fear they changed the protection, that is a anti-debug trap.
If you downloaded from Avid, try my link for the original installer.
Or maybe before check the md5 of installer
and send me via PM, I'll check it against the good installer.
Let me know via PM that I see what can be done.

It finally works on Mavericks 10.9.2!!!

The terminal commands did the trick.

1.unpack with keka
2.batchmod PT loader and PT App in this way:
owner: you group:staff
and tick R W X R W X R W X
tick "apply to enclosed items" too.
3. install PT
4. Follow terminal commands
5. press continue and save project.

Now, you have to create or load an existing project from the loader app; otherwise, PT won’t work correctly.

I don’t have many plug ins so the timer is not an issue for me.

Everything WAS working perfectly and now I get the authorization stop sign and then PT quits.

Can't even open PT now.

Hi everyone! It's been 2 years I just read and download here, but that release I had to register just to thanks Copylefter for so nice work! For us brazilians, I think it's even harder to have access to tecnology since our country seems to discourage us buying things from other countries (100% taxes at the price in U$). So, thank you very much and f**k Apple and Avid!!!

I tried to install in Mavericks 10.9.3. It was impossible. Tried all the methods and nothing. So I installed the ML 10.8.5 and now it's working!

So, I just got one question:

Everytime I lauch the loader it will have to patch or I'm with a problem?! I thought it would patch the first time and after it will just load!

Apart from that question it's all right! Just like its advised (cmd+f not working; can't open old sessions...)

Again, thanks very very very much. Long waiting till this release is out!!! Copylefter making history!

To answer your question, it's a loader not a patch. A loader does what it sounds like, it's another application that loads ProTools without the misnomer of a protection system.

I got it. But I was used to PT9 and the only thing I had to do is open Pro Tools Loader and everything is fine. That method copylefeter used seems that everytime we open Pro Tools Loader it'll patch (it's written on the dialogs something like "pro tools patch ok")!

So, my question persists: Everytime I open Pro Tools Loader I'll have to open the session I want and then click continue and wait for the process?

I'm not complaining, just a question! The whole process take a few seconds! It's awesome!

Yes, that's the procedure you need to do every time
you start it.
Yeah, in P9 crackT they used a loader that relied on gdb+ a custom program(crackpipe) and used HW breakpoints.
After that, in PT10 avid has put traps that detects hw breakpoint.
Also, here the patch needed are 4, and the use of HW breakpoint
is limited to 3breakpoints, due to physical processor limits,
in case you find a way to circumvent anti HWBP traps.
So this is the only way to make it work afaik.
Except maybe a full emulation, that will require much more talented
crackers to sniff conncetions, decrypt, recreate algorithms,
and build a dummy license server. a major pita,
every serious cracker gave up on this due to these problems.

this is not true
PT10 uses 4 hardware brekpoints for it's own program flow. they have made 4 functions that will crash PT10 if the build-in debugger is not running or the breakpoints are overwritten with other addresses. every CPU can use dr0 - dr3 for hardware breapoints on each! thread. that are 4 bps... NOT only 3. there are no traps in PT10. i already have overwritten the bps with the same addresses and can run PT10 without any failture with my own mach_exception handler injected.

I'm making progress getting the launcher to work with Snow Leopard. I've updated Bit Slicer to version 1.7 Alpha 8 which works with SL. When I click "document.wflow" inside the launcher package Pro Tools launches but then I get this error "The action β€œRun AppleScript (unhide again)” encountered an error."

EDIT: Also if I try to run the PTTENTHREENINE.slice seperately I get this error "An error occured trying to run the script on Pro Tools
