I made a mirror of the 10.3.9 installer available as of now, you'll find it in the peeplink.

Be sure to watch the video and to read the readme.rtfd included.

This crack is finally working, the only downside is that you must use
the fade tool to create fades, if you use the menu item "Create Fades"
or the shortcut cmd+F it crashes, so don't try, btw the fade tool
is the easiest and fastest way to create fades in PT so you should use that anyway.

Fix Notes:
Many people faced problem with the previous patch+loader,
I made a mistake to share it on the wave of enthusiasm,
it was in a too early stage and not fully working.

Now we think this can be declared a final crack,
openssh spotted the pseudo-random iLok checks and circumvented the CRC checks,
it's now totally usable unlike the previous partial crack.
The new loader should be fool-proof. Just follow instructions.

Reversing and patch scripting by openssh.
Loader applet by copylefter.

These are the mysteries of Mavericks.
There's people raving all around the web trying to solve
this Enable Access for Assistive devices,
(I mean for legit apps, not this loader)
it just work or don't, depending on its mood.

it starts off fine for me. the problem happens when its time for me to create, or open a file. it'll get all the way to the "save detailed" report stage, then when it goes to build the project window, it fails and says it's corrupt and reinstall. any suggestions? i'm on 10.8.5

You must create or open session via the quick start menu on PT start,
if you try to switch session on the fly it checks again against corruption,
and as the framework binary is patched in memory, it fails.
It's a bit annoying, but you have to quit and reopen to switch sessions.

Unfortunately, can't start Loader.
My steps:
1. Install PT10
2. Restart
3. Replace PT10 with PT10 K
4. BatChmod PT10
5. BatChmod Loader
6. Drag Loader to Accessibility
7. Make shortcut to Dock
8. Launch Loader
9. Get this error: The action β€œRun AppleScript (Launch PT)” encountered an error.
Check the actionΚΌs properties and try running the workflow again.

Unpacked with Keka. Tried so many times. No success. System 10.9.3
Any suggestions?

funny thing. i clicked on the pt icon in the app, instead of the loader, and it worked. it allowed me to create a session. i'm gonna try it again and see if i can open a session and report back

nope. i get the authorization error, that pt 10 is corrupt and must be reinstalled. what did i do wrong in the installation process? i did a clean install. i uninstalled the pt 8.03 xvx i had on ml, installed this, and still the auth errors.

You did wrong that you started PT from the app and not the loader,
which is clearly stated not to try. PT main app is patched
to bypass the license checks on start, but then you can't do anything
cause it crashes with corruption/ilok errors.
It's not meant to be used that way, the loader is there for a reason.

Hi Guys,

I did exactly the same process than nexusser to install PT.

And I've got the same results on 10.9.3.

It seems to work when I start PT with the regular Icon, and crashes randomly.
PT doesn't start when trying to launch from the Loader...

BTW, A big Thx to U my dear publisher !!
I think you're not do far from the final resolution

Really how do you guys install this app with all this issues.
don't click click and click. read, it's all there
if it does not work play around with the installation you will arrive at the point you need to be at.

I gave it one shot that was it every thing is good. on ML 10.8.5
I had 10.9.3 on MBP i was not able to install the first release but i reverted to ML and got it working.
This one is stable compare to what was released b4. Keep trying you will get there.

Hi guys - ok I know some people having problems let me share my experiences.

Running Mavericks. I followed the video on the first page but also added the Pro Tools Loader to the Assistive Devices panel as the readme says to do.

Following the instructions I am pleased to report IT WORKS PERFECTLY.

I was unable to directly open a session created by a prior version of Pro Tools (.ptf file)

BUT was able to use the menu item
File > Import > Import Session Data

to successfully import the tracks from a previous session.

Beat detective working great
Have not yet tested Elastic Audio
Plugins working great.

btw all issues are on Mavericks, but it's Mavericks fault here.
Also legit apps that needs access for assistive devices have same problems.
I'm doing a clean install of mavericks on a test hdd,
I will see what's wrong and eventually build a mavericks only loader.

hey there, I opened session data which was exported as PT8 from another PT system, by using "Import Session Data".

You are correct in that I couldn't open it using the 'Open Session' command but imprting the tracks using 'Import Session Data' worked fine.

It may be different on dufferent systems but rock solid here.

I have no session made on previous version to test,
you're trying to open it from inside already loaded pro tools
or via the quick start menu on launch?
Cause only the latter would work.
Let me know.

(if someone is so kind to create an empty session with PT8/9,
maybe just a couple of seconds long audio clip on one track
and send it to me via PM I'll take a look)

Ok, I stressed it, making EQ, visrtual instruments, exporting to mp3, automatations, aux channels, routing channels,

It works, rock solid, not a single crash, exported to mp3 (using PT HD9 XVX mp3.bundle)

-(I got system overload but that has nothing to do with the loader, its PT, its resource hungry)

locate it in "applications/avid/codecs/mp3 ... " you will find it, just replace it
