I made a mirror of the 10.3.9 installer available as of now, you'll find it in the peeplink.

Be sure to watch the video and to read the readme.rtfd included.
(famous Apple's text format that stands for Read The Fucking Document)

This crack is finally working, the only downside is that you must use
the fade tool to create fades, if you use the menu item "Create Fades"
or the shortcut cmd+F it crashes, so don't try, btw the fade tool
is the easiest and fastest way to create fades in PT so you should use that anyway.

Fix Notes:
Many people faced problem with the previous patch+loader,
I made a mistake to share it on the wave of enthusiasm,
it was in a too early stage and not fully working.

Now we think this can be declared a final crack,
openssh spotted the pseudo-random iLok checks and circumvented the CRC checks,
it's now totally usable unlike the previous partial crack.
The new loader should be fool-proof. Just follow instructions.

Reversing and patch scripting by openssh.
Loader applet by copylefter.

The loader probably wouldn't work on 10.6.8,
the Bit Slicer alpha included is for 10.7+
Wait a couple hours and I'll post a manual patch
that will work everywhere.
In the meanwhile try the loader, maybe you're lucky

It seems to work fine here (ML), just remember that PT has to be patched EACH TIME you launch it. The only thing that I didn't manage to get working is the connection with ProControl ("personality loading error" or something similar...)

Maverick is still a buggy crap to me. SnowLeo is an awesome system
(sadly doesn't run on my new Mac), but it's being left without support
from too many devs and Apple too, so it may be good to do the move now!

after opening pt loader a script appears but no session will open what to do ?

You have to create or open an existing session
from the quick start window. Like in the video.
When it finish loading the session, hit continue on the script.

i did the same and it works fine and closing the session and reopening protools the script reopens again

It's a loader, you must launch from it every time you launch protools.
That's how it's supposed to work.

Ok guys, hope this will solve your tribulations

Here's the manual patch from openssh, just follow the included info & howto video
and you'll be goldie. The first time check the bitslicer log as instructed
to see if the patch works. Then it's not needed, just tick the checkbox
on bitslicer, wait a bit, quit bitslicer and go.
This would work on 10.9.3 and everywhere if you still have problems with loader.

I hope it is clear, my girlfriend who's a genius on many things
but surely not at computers watched the video and
succeeded at launching PT.
So, this should be really fool-proof. I hope.

The only problem you can have is in the unlikely case
that bitslicer doesn't work correctly on your system as it's still alpha.
In that case no panic, contact me and I'll tell you what to do.

Yes. It's not a bug, the loader is not working at all if it crash on bus instantiation.
Just try it and see.

A little information for everyone who have lots of plugins, and ProTools wants to restart because of low memory! You need the loader without countdown. After ProTools stopped working, leave the Loader open, and restart ProTools like normal (without Loader) and wait, then... load a Session and click on continue at the Loader.

If it's the second case you would find
that without loader or manual patch is totally unusable.
Who gives a heck if it loads, it has to work.
If instead is the first case that fits you
I can provide you with a HI-res screenshot of ProTools window to stare at,
it will work exactly like ProTools w/o Loader/Patch.
And it's lighter on the CPU too.

here's another one for those that didnt read (ya' know... to show the importance of it)... Yesterday, June 5, 2014, I bought my very first mac computer ever... and guess what i did today?... Loaded this pt crack and am successfully running it!!... BOOM!!!.... done...

How did i do that (with no prior experience on a Mac)?? By downloading Keka, Batchmod, and then following Copylefter's video where he drags the Loader into that Accessibility page, then Batchmods the loader an PT.app (that was part of archive), then copied both into Avid/Pro Tools folder, etc..

Oh yeah... one more thing... I'm running Mavericks... the one that came with my macbook pro... not even updated or nothin.,

I've tried with 10.6.8 but the Loader doesn't work.. I'll wait for a new loader otherwaise I'll try install Mountain Lion..

p.s. when i drag audio files onto pt arrange/edit window (as opposed to the windows version) all the sounds look lik they are clipping .. big time!!! but i know they arent at all... i tried different waveform views etc. but something is def wrong here...

Have you tried to recalculate waveform overviews in the regions list?

I follow Audioz from years but I've registered myself only today...
Especially i registered to let you know that I am so grateful to you, because thanks to your release you have given me the opportunity to make practice on ProTools completely!
Now I can finally learn it!!
I have installed it on my mavericks 10.9.3 following your instructions and it works perfectly (no breaks, no errors, for now everything is ok). I have also installed Avid instruments (Air creative collection downloaded from Avid website and instruments work perfectly)
Only 1 thing I need to know from you: if you can explain me in details how can I open old PT projects (maybe friends that give me old songs to open and to work on for make practice on them etc etc).
I've understood that PTLoader can only open files created (on the recent files list) inside this cracked version of PT.
Can you tell me "officially" how to manage other projects coming from outside?
Thanks again for your HARD work and BIG RESPECT for your infinite patience you have for us all!
And thanks also to Audioz, which is the best audio-stuff website!!!!
