...You can also try VMWare or Parallels? Just a noob suggestion.

The problem with VM and Parallels, is that you don't enjoy the full power of your computer, VMs in general are far slower than the real thing.

So try TEAMBEAT suggestion. Personally I am writing this from a Mac with a Windows 10 1903 installed on a separate partition, and it works just great!

(in fact this is strange, because since I have Win installed I work almost exclusively with it. I'm even asking myself why having an expensive Mac anymore?)

Cubase Pro 10.5. Wow! Only issue I found is Render in Place with multiple tracks selected will not render to separate events if anything but Dry option is selected. I hope you guys figure that one out. Otherwise this is a true miracle accomplishment as it is. Thank you!

I'm having problem with the elicenser. I've tried uninstalling it, removing the elicenser/syncrosoft folders in program data, and I always get 'elicenser deactivated' when it opens the elicenser (after installing the antitrial).

The elicenser installs ok, no errors, I didn't check the box to start the elicenser after installing it, I assumed I didn't need to? After installing the antitrial, it opens the elicenser, the licenses are there, but elicenser is deactivated. Repair doesn't fix it, neither does disabling antitrial and then running the maintenance in elicenser.

I've even removed everything, deleted remaining folders, rebooted, turned of defender again, and repeated the steps but each time the same elicenser problem. I am obviously online as well. My windows version is Win 10 Pro - 1809.

PS: The error message in the elicenser reads:

My friend ,since i didnt found a adequate answer,please i need you to clarify some things to me.
1. Do i need to install a Cubase Elements 10.04 full version installer or i can install Cubase Pro 10 full version installer, then to apply a Cubase patch or patch works only with Elements version regarding for sounds and samples.
2. I have been using it on Win 7 with Elements , but maybe i have miss something, but on Win 7 i have not a video exporting and multitap delay, Padhsop neither, but on Win 10 i have multitap delay, and because of that i seek for an answer. I am doing something wrong and it is not about licences because on both systems i am using AT b11.

3. What is the diference with this AT version b10 , and one that have been released days ago

Well i am using Elements because of sounds and samples and Cubase 10 Pro worked just fine on my system with AT b5 ,but today for the sake of testing i have installed b11, then now installed b10..

Personally i am having trouble right now with AT b10 that you have uploaded with some NO LICENCES found messages , but that was not the case with the b11 which i was installed earlier today .

I am grateful to VR for their Antitrial work, but is there some way with installing an additional licences, not to change the time and date,because AT "already STOPs" the time ,no mather what is the date of installation ...

I dont even need that feature because i have all single licences downloaded and stored on my elicencer, but for my curiosity i am trying that method as well, but that thing messes up my whole pc and deactivates other apps.


HINT to VR form me and now is about a 1000th time , please give us a OFFLINE AT licence installer, with updated licence CODES Like, Cubase Elements 10, GA5, Halion 6,etc . Theoretically that is possible but i don't own such knowledge to do that.

Thanks a lot for your efforts and from my point of view, there is nothing wrong with AT b11 ,but files itself on other people systems that need to be cleaned, so new AT b11 installation can do job as it supposed to do. For example i never had installed none AT from b6 or above until today,and that saved me a lot thing because i was not uninstalling and installing AT every single day to test them all. And like i said days before on other thread i tried AT b10 and that was bummer, so i got myself in lot of troubles cleaning elicencer, deleting and swapping SEL files, then syncrosoft folder etc... That was a hard job to do....

Unfortunately I cannot comment on the V.R antitrial Method as that is How V.R decided it to be done

I think I can suggest one thing (remember that it's a noob talking here): if something works, don't change.

I found a slight bug in AT V11 on of the first command (create a new .sel with / RegSel) generates an error message, in fact command doesn't work. But of course it could work for others, it depends of a lot of things.

So for now myself I will stick with V10, which works well on my system.

General rule:

If you have already Stbrg. licenses (demo or not) AND an antitrial (whatever version) installed and working, you don't have to do anything else than install the progies (step 3).

I have the same exact problem. With internet unplugged, and firewall off. With both Anti-trial b10 & b11. I did just stumble on a workaround though.

I noticed, that if the soft-elicenser installs correctly, only 1 of the licenses gets installed, then the installer hangs so i close the cmd window and then the Control Center won't open.

Conversely, if the soft-elicenser does not install corrrectly, all of the licenses get installed, the installer finishes and closes itself. At which point the Control Center will open.

So in the first case, where one license installs at a time , if i start the installer again straight-away, the cmd window opens, goes through all of the licenses but installs none. Because of some error i can't read as the text scrolls too fast. Basically it won't let install another license. At this point i figured resetting the my PC would help, so I logged off instead.

Which works, only if you disable the Antitrial first then reinstall. Otherwise a window pops up with an error about the Synsopos.exe file.

The trick is the Soft-elicenser has to enable and active first.

So anyone that can't make it work at all, like myself.
Here are my steps to make it work, it's straightforward but real dumb.

1. install elicenser
2. install Antitrial without the additional license box checked.
3. If, the Soft-elicense is enabled, then start the installer again with the boxed checked, it should hang after the first license is installed. Just close it.
4. Logoff windows and log back on.
5. Disable the Antitrial.
6. Install the Antrial again. and install like normal.
7. It will now hang after installing the 2nd license. Close it.
8. Repeat steps 4-7 for the remaining licenses.

I'm still doing it while i type this. So yeah, it's slow and not ideal.
But sometimes the only option is brute force.

Everything points to your antivirus, whatever it is, (the silent microsoft defender or some annoying other) has just devoured your "Synsopos.exe" confusing it with a succulent and tasty virus, my friend.
And this executable is key to the correct operation of your e-licenser with its respective anti-trial, both vital for the execution of Nuendo 10 or Cubase Pro 10.5 in your sistem.
Just look for it in the trunk of your antivirus and restore it with its respective exception and everything will be fine again.

That's not true. The installer is the problem, (for some). In the case where the installer installs a license then hangs. So i have close it manually. And then installer does not get to release whatever processes it was using to install. Like 'Synsopos.exe' for example.

the new installers have the Antitrial reverted back to the B10 as many have had troubles with B11

That is stupid windows defender. Disable it while installing this. I had the same problem and spent few hours until I've realized it.

There is no need to install Cubase Elements at all, if you have Cubase Elements remove it as its not needed.
If you have been using Steinberg trial Instruments with Library's there is no need to remove them

!!!! Remember to Completely Disable your windows Defender Antivirus before commencing to install !!!!

Steinberg Cubase 10.5.0 AND Steinberg Nuendo 10.2.10 ( With version numbers)
please be mindful these are x64 bit only installers,i do not have win 7 to test them

Both have been remade and updated to all current with DC versions , These also have desktop Icons for both Standard and Dc versions for easy accessibility.
Steinberg Library Manger is included and also has a desktop icon for easy accessibilty

Some community friends have been having trouble with the Antitrial B11
Both these installers include the previous Antitrial b10 version

Padshop Pro is a separate product it is not included in the installers

If you have B11 installed and have no issues please leave your Antitrial as it is !!!
and just install step 03 from the menu

Everything is fine with Cubase 10.5 Pro, so far without any flaws.
REVerence continues to crash Nuendo when changing convolution files.

I've installed Nuendo 10 twice(install-uninstal-install again) because I couldn't find DC exe, both time, didn't get DC exe nowhere (desktop or Nuendo folder), just Nuendo 10.exe (which btw works nicely) and Steinberg Library Manager. Please how to access DC version ?

download the new installer
Leave the Antitrial licence as it is.
Remove Previous version steinberg Nuendo in add\remove Programs

On the setup menu goto
03.Nuendo 10.2.10 Install
Execute it and install

on your desktop you will now have both Nunendo 10 and Nuendo 10 DC icon
As Mono has said before use at your risk as Dc is buggy and may crash at times
it is still a work in progress

There is no need to LOGOFF , just kill the elc process in task manager and you should be fine...
Active ELC process is causing this problem, because does not shutdown correctly when Anti-trial activates it,or SYNS0POS process,which is actually program which store\ "download" licences on selicencer ....
But problem persist , so therefore for installing additional licences , you should take step by step, one licence at time and kill process when CMD stops responding ....

Sir you are correct.

And as matter a of fact.
When it hangs don't close the window, leave it open, fire up the task manager and
every time you end the process it starts again and installs the next license.

After double thinking, sorry but I don't recommend this Funk U procedure to anyone.

If you can't manage to let Antitrial finish its job till the end, it can render your system unstable.

Why? because Antitrial plays with date and time, and in some systems, depending of your config, it could be a risky game.

The best is to uninstall anything, in this order:

1°) antitrial(s)

2°) elicenser

3°) Reboot (don't just logoff, it is not enough)

Now read this In my answer there is a link to another comment, read it too.

Now re-install what you needs, with the new TEAMBEAT2019 updated installers including Antitrial V10, which seems to work better than the V11.

So far, if you have Stbrg official things + an antitrial already installed and WORKING on your system, you just need to do step 3, and nothing else.
