After trying your suggestion, unfortunately in my case the DC version is as unstable as before, both cubase and nuendo, nothing to do with the super stability of the versions without DC.

It works here... but it also worked fine before.

The explanation is that I have a thunderbolt interface, so a great part of the latency problems are masked by the fact that TB is very CPU efficient and reliable.

You can also have great results with old firewire interfaces, but with USB interfaces (the vast majority of us), there is real problems with CPU consumption, they are not as efficient as we generally think.

Another solution? Wait for the future USB4! This version will incorporate thunderbolt, it will be an amazing speed boost compared to what we have now.

I tried it very fast because I didn't have time
But it works on Windows 7 Ultimated 64 bits with the antitrial B11.
It only gives a wavelab 8 error, but I gave it to cancel and it works great.

I really want to thank you for this great effort, I think that many of us have waited for this moment, to see it open again after so many years I was filled with emotion, I did not use it from version 4.1. Really an incredible job. Congratulations, they are geniuses.

If you really wanna have no WL error, try V10, after have deactivated V11 and rebooted.
...Or stays like this, if your system is super-stable and satisfying.

I left a message yesterday saying i was going to try it, and i was ask to tell you guys how it went.

Well, first of all, the installation had no problems, no funny things, no crashes, no anything.
Just followed the instructions.

I open it, try it, and it scanned all my VSTs (only my iZotope ones weren't accepted and were blacklisted as 32 bit versions, which is strange), and then my windows 10 dropped a message saying "your windows license will expire soon" which of course almost gave me a heart attack, thinking i had f*cked up my system, but i was able to solve it pretty easily.

I only use it for half an hour cos now is really late, but so far everything seems to work great.

I can't believe this work.... i'm speechless, congratulations to everyone of you involve in this, and thank you!

If you had this warning about windows licence, it is because you haven't let the AT V10 (and not V11, which appears to be buggy) finish its job till the end, rending your system unstable and dated of 2040!

Sometimes, you can also have a random error (with V11) which have the same effect as described before.

Verify that you have the latest installers with Antitrial V10, and try to uninstall things in this order:

1°) Antitrial

2°) Licenser.

3°) Reboot.

4°) Re-install licenser, then AT V10. Verify that you have setted AT exactly like the image in the first post.

It shouldn't have any error, if you let it finish till the end.

Then you can try again to uninstall and re-install Cubase and/or Nuendo (only if you haven't the very last installers).

Hey, thanks for replaying.
I did let the AT V10 (i used that version) finished. I was installing while reading the instructions step by step, so i know i did everything right.
Once i finished the installation and everything was alright, i correct the Date and time on Windows to the current date. Then, i launch Cubase for the first time.
And about 5 or 10 minutes after, that message popped up.
What i did was getting into services and disable the "windows license manager service" and that was it.
Windows 10 was then showing it is activated, and that message never appear again.
I did open Cubase several times after that, with no problems at all.

On startup it always shows Five Finger Death project even I delete it every time from list. Same with ma default projects folder.
This release DC ver crushing to me very frequently, no usable to work. Also struggling with reopening projects, even after normal quit from program.
Not suit for everyday work. Only testing purpose.

I'm using Cubase10.5.exe there is no problem like that, i can remove projects from list. If Cubase not crashes after removing projects it should work, if Cubase crashes after changes it will show last project list.

Simple solution:

Delete completely the folder:

C:\Users\YOU\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Cubase 10.5_64

(replace "YOU" by your win login name) All Cubase user settings will be erased, it'll allow you to start fresh.

Nuendo doesn't have any problems like that, because this folder is absent the 1st time you install it.

Both apps re-create this folder automatically with your personal settings.

Important: verify that you have the last version, with Antitrial V10. V11 is buggy.

If ever you have to re-install, follow my instructions just above, and my important warning here.

As a non Cubase user I have to admit I had no idea what DC version stood for. So now I learn it's "Delay Compensation." Compensation for what? Plugin/VST latency? If so, I don't get it... isn't this a standard feature in pretty much any modern DAW? Even the freeware Audacity has this feature. Why would Cubase need a completely separate version for this?

Original Cubase have automatic delay compensation and there is no DC version. Probably when Cubase process latencies it checking license and reverse engineers couldnt solve that problem completely thats why there is DC version.

It is simple: the patch that allows us to test these great apps is not perfect and leads to complications, like these bugs linked to the automatic latency compensation (Read here for an explanation about DC).

But great people are working hard everyday on it, I'm sure they will find solutions for all the bugs reported!

I have installed:
1 e-licenser from steinberg site
2 Antitrial 10 (did't use additional content)
3 Cubase 10.5
When installing, I received a wavelab license error, this caused the anymix plugin. I just deleted it from program files / steinberg / vst3 it didn't bother me anymore

5 If you go into the audio editing mode, click on the loop and playback on the top panel, and select a pencil in the tools, then zoom in and try to draw them, then cubase freezes and crash

I used the Cubase DC. I hope you can fix it.

There isn't such thing as "offline activation", licenser and Antitrial needs an internet connection to work, without it they are both completely useless!

It is possible, but only for future versions (and not for all apps, only biggest ones). It's very difficult for a developper to change todays protections, because it affects legit users too.

But we have a great Team V.R. which works on it, and will surely release new versions of the AT for us to play with.

No matter if it is 100% cracked/working or not, at least, people will be able to install it and play with it :)

You know what worries me the most ?
All this time, R2R kept saying the elicenser/cubase pro was impossible to crack, etc...in one nfo, they even wrote how they think the protection works....

R2R.... probably with 100 times more experience and skills than mono/v.r/the other cracker (I'm not underestimating mono, etc), they said it was IMPOSSIBLE.

And now, surprise, here is a working version.
So, it was impossible, huh...?

And now that 'it was done', by some other folks/teams, suddenly, R2R could well pop up and say' ohh, guys, in fact, we FORGOT to tell you, a few months ago, we fully cracked the elicenser...so here it is, ALL the steinborg apps cracked...'... and we could well see a 'Steinberg Cubase Pro 10.5.x-WIN-MAC-R2R'...

R2r do know steinberg are probably one of the biggest/most important actors, in the vst/audio world...and for sure, they wouldn't want to be 'responsible' for cracking and sharing their apps.like some kind of code of honor. ..

In fact, R2R was right... The MCFact (dongle) protection will remains uncracked for loooong time.

What you have here is different: the smart asses of the great V.R. Team have find a very smart workaround, these apps that you have here... simply don't use and don't need MCFact at all!

How they done that? No idea, but the fact that there is absolutely no crack for MCFact is true and will always be true.

nobody EVER say its impossible! all they say its they dont have time for it , it will take years to make a software dongle (like AIR did with version 5)

to make cubase pro works 100% you need to create a virtual dongle! and the last time AIR team created one it taked 1 or 2 years non stop working just on that!

dont talk if you dont know what are you talking about!

Strange, it is working great here with AT V10... Could you verify that you have AT V10, and take a screen capture showing the error?

On my comp HA6 and GA5 works since antitrial V9.

It helps a lot to have Elements demo (or other offical demos) installed, but of course, each time you install official things or enter a serial in the licenser you must momentarily disable AT V10 first.

I think it would be even explain what versions of "groove agent and HALion" to work this method, it is not enough only recommend the eLicenser 6.1.1.9 version. for me, for example, with the latest update installed, the presets do not change at all, we should understand on what does this update installation method 6.11.9?

Advice: don't update licenser, because progies or libraries will cease to function for sure. Now HA6 and GA5 and Elements 10 works very well with this release.

Use only the 6.11.9 that is included in the last release, and don't forget to have a look at the image above and do exactly as the image. If not, something will not work.

If ever you wanna install something official from the developer site (and enter your serial), you have to momentarily deactivate antitrial first.

In fact, everything is easier if you have already an official st.brg demo thing installed (with your demo serial entered in the licenser with the green button). To know how to install things from the mothersite, please read this.
