Yeah, it works fine. It does have compression & reverb on by default, tho. Some other ppl have had problems w/ fx in Omnisphere. Also w/ their DAW. Try turning off fx & see if it works? Change DAW? If turning off fx works, u prolly need 2 reinstall an Omnisphere update...

WHERE IS THE PROOF THAT IT WORKS FOR YOU..

one says it gets an error one says you have to delete a folder and file move the library here and there but then it doesnt work, other say they follow the instruction that are in the pack but those are wrong, everything said here is the opposite of that and it's still wrong. still makes no sound, or still makes random errors for others.

you just install it. it goes automatically in it's folder, you just load the libraries in the right folder, and that's it, then load it in your DAW

in the software there is nothing more than a midi setting and that's about it
there are no special audio output/input or midi controller settings.

why it doesnt make a sound? if my other 100 and more software do.

I'm on Mac, and i've same problem ! All the preset of Omnisphere works but keyscape not ! Ive this message : "This plugin is not authorized to use this soundsource or patch. Reload the plugin and follow the authorization instructions (../Wing Upright Tremolo ^ Mono/AudioFiles/RR01_SL01 WupTrm1_21-79.wav)."

For all those on mac that have issues, If I were you I would make sure you have the latest Omni ver first. Then re-get the entire Keyscape via torrent complete, then copy that resulting folder into the root of the Steam folder. It should work from that point period. If still not, you have some other issues messing you up unrelated to this.

lol thats what im doing right now wit my slow ass internet, i got evrything working except for dark score, and that is my favorite preset i heard out the pack when i was watcing reviews on it. Im downloading a keyscape torrent as a back up and gonna try that steam folder, i really wanna use dark score, does it work for you?

So I spent the afternoon giving this a good play-through. Everything functioned as it should, no problems at all (Win7, Cubase 7.5, Omni 2.3.1).

I pulled up my go-to piano and EP patches and compared them to Keyscape and in the end I decided to delete Keyscape. All the different keyboards and EPs are nice but I wouldn't use most of them. And the piano didn't sound quite as good as my go-to one. So thanks for letting me try this software out, I saved myself $400

This is some piece of software. The sound quality is amazing. The scripting and presets are spot on. The feel is great. It is processed enough to be enjoyable and workable out of the box but still dry enough to easily add and mix in effects from waves, soundtoys, etc. And now I am only talking about the Yamaha C7. You could make it work for any genre besides classical where I feel you would need an accurately sampled Steinway. But then we have Hammersmith and the upcoming Steinway from Production Voices. Hey, I aint got no time writing this, gotta go back and tweak this beast for recording sessions now. Just this: Those who slammed Spectrasonics for producing just another a bunch of keyboards are so very, very wrong. This is not any piece of software. And thinking what can be done in Omnisphere makes me smile. And you who revert to namecalling in here... I think you should grow up or get out.

make sure you lil muskets download the latest soundsources and 2.3.0h software, also make sure your db files are legit the right size and unrar'd right, jus make sure u got every part and all the files match up size with the zippy links, if u know what i mean.

everything should i work, i jus dont have dark score working, im downloading a back up torretn keyscape jus to see if i can get dark score to work, am i the only one with LA dark score preset not working?? im on mac 10.9.5 , if anybody need help jus read through the posts, or message me ill gladly help i love this shit.

fuck idk i need to figure this shit out i jus made a fire tune though with it. used the clav sounds this plugin crazy. i hope i figure out how to get dark score to work tho lol. this plugin so sick fa real if u kno how to use it

I suspect that your problem with the Dark Score preset is caused by this file:

Spectrasonics\STEAM\Keyscape\Settings Library\Patches\Factory\Keyscape Library.db

When I open that file with a text editor, I can find that preset name. I think all the preset settings are in that file. On my machine, that file size is 123,876,366 bytes, created 11/18/16 at 10:17 pm. I didn't get it here. I got it from a torrent elsewhere. I wonder if your file has the same size and date/time as mine. Anyway, I put my copy of that file here:

You might as well try this file and see if it helps you. I have tried every single preset, and they all work.

EDIT (a few hours later): everyone should ignore what I said above. I now see that the zippyshare version of that file is identical to the file I'm using, so I think your Keyscape Library.db file is probably fine.

i jus found out my la grand piano is the problem, anybody else having troubles opennig some of the LA custom c7 grand piano sounds? mine isnt working but i have the correct db mine is 14.93gb and theres a db2 thats 1.7mb

Yes, you have these two files:

LA Custom C7 Grand.db - 14.93gb
LA Custom C7 Grand.db2 - 1.7mb

But I think those files contain only sound, and are not your problem. I think you're having a problem with preset settings, and I think they are stored in Keyscape Library.db.

hmmm i dont know what to do im puzzled, so im downloading a different keyscape that i found from a torrent and gonna try loading that library tommorrow morning.

what would suggest i could do in the mean time tho to attempt to get those important grand pianos to work? or wat would u suggest i do with my preset settings or move around etc or whatever? i have a couple of the sounds working in that LA custom but the dark score and the main grand presets aint workin theres no sound but everything else work

Oops, sorry I disappeared for a while.

Looks like I was pointing you in the wrong direction by blaming that Keyscape Library.db file. I just downloaded the zippyshare version of that file, and I was able to confirm that it's identical to the file I'm using, that I obtained elsewhere. So I guess your copy of that file isn't a problem, after all.

Are you using the most current Omnisphere? I think the correct version number is 2.3.1.
