Spectrasonics - Keyscape Library for Omnisphere 2 - TZ GROUP screenshot
Omnisphere 2 Library | 72 GB
KEYSCAPE™ is an extraordinary new virtual instrument featuring the largest selection of collector keyboards in the world. From “holy grail” pianos to stunning keyboards you didn’t even know existed, this is a keyboardist’s dream come true.

Ten years in the making, each of these sought-after keyboards was carefully restored and then deeply multisampled by the renowned Spectrasonics Sound Development Team. These compelling and highly expressive sounds will inspire you to PLAY!

The process began with going to the ends of the earth to find and restore each one of these rare and incredibly special instruments with the top technicians and expert craftsmen from each discipline. We even went as far as spending years redoing these instruments from scratch again and again until they were totally “right.” This incredible attention to detail and meticulous care given to each instrument allowed us to develop these sounds to a whole new level of authentic tone.

While it’s every performing keyboardist’s dream to have the very best instruments instantly available anywhere, Keyscape is equally useful in the studio for producers and composers. Since these instruments can be easily transformed into amazing “unreal” sounds with the powerful STEAM Engine® under the hood, Keyscape easily turns these coveted instruments from History into innovative new sounds of the Future.

Custom Controls
The Custom Controls presented for each Patch allow you to go far beyond the original sound. The intuitive interface includes useful performance controls and high-quality creative effects processing specially crafted for each Patch. Hundreds of included Patches showcase the remarkable versatility and ability to dramatically customize these iconic sounds to your music.

Authentic Expression
With many of these collector instruments, it’s really the imperfections that make them so interesting. Instead of cleaning up all the quirks and noises they make, we made sure to closely capture them since they are a big part of their vibe. In addition to that, our software team closely modeled the authentic behavior and mojo of vintage amplifiers, classic effects units, and unique subtleties like mechanical noises, pedal noises, and release overtones to bring these sounds to a whole new level of authenticity and dynamic expression.

Hybrid "Duo" Sounds
Along with the hundreds of patches based on the 36 instrument models, Keyscape includes special hybrid "Duo" sounds which combine two of the instruments to create something entirely new. The unique timbre of these Duo patches make them some of the most creative and inspiring sounds in Keyscape!

Omnisphere Integration
As a bonus for Omnisphere 2 users, Keyscape also integrates fully as a satellite instrument within the Omnisphere® interface. Keyscape will simply appear as a library inside Omnisphere’s browser for users of both plugins. This capability allows Omnisphere 2 users to harness additional functionality like Live Mode, Stack Mode, Multitimbrality, endless FX routings and the full synthesis power of the STEAM Engine® to explore endless new sonic possibilities and combinations.

Technical Specifications
• Huge library with over 500 “Best-in-class” sounds, 36 Instrument Models and Hybrid “Duo” Patches
• Deeply Multisampled sounds with up to 32-way velocity switching, Round Robins, etc.
• Mechanical Noise, Pedal Noise and Release Noise behavior modeling
• Patches feature authentic circuit modeled amplifiers and effects
• Available as Download (77 GB) or Boxed USB Drives Edition
• Optional “Lite” installation (30 GB) for stage use
• Full Omnisphere® 2 integration

First of all, I waited several weeks for this release, because it's simply beautiful! Thanks @Olymoon! To the people who are complaining, I can simply say it's rude and you don't deserve something like this. I also spent a huge amount of time to set this up, but some people act like it's their natural right to have this thing installed and asap getting this thing working. I would say, that you look at page 14 on @Cifrocco's post. He described it for Windows 10, but the same applies to Mac OSX (El Capitan, for me).

Some Keyboard with amp have no sound.

Clavinet C- Retro Amp 1, 2 and 3
and others with amps...

I second that. Something to do with amps I imagine, but I can't figure out what.
I would appreciate any help.

Have the same issue on normal VST and AU (Mac & Win!).

And very strange
In "crunch" and "overdrive" amps work but not the others.

And other strange thing:
Rhodes- Classic suitcase doesn't work
So I put Rhodes-Classic Amp and after that I return on Classic Suitcase and it' works now
Same with Harpischord

I absolutely love Keyscape the Clavinets and the Wurlitzer sound amazing! Thank you INTRINSIC and TZ GROUP.

I have followed all the previous instructions and I get error msgs on some of the other instruments each time i load them. I hear the sound but the error msgs pop up for example

LA Custom C7 Grand

Sample file not found on disk: Keyboards/LA Custom C7 Grand/LA Custom C7 Pedal Noise RR r07 NR/AudioFiles/RR05 grndpno pdl_0 r07.wav

LA Custom C7 - Rock

Sample file not found on disk: Keyboards/LA Custom C7 Grand/LA Custom C7 ^/AudioFiles/RR01_SL01LACPPUr09_66-115.wav

Where i get no sound.

and on the

Rhodes - LA Custom

Sample file not found on disk: Keyboards/Rhodes - LA Custom/LACR Mechanical Pedal Noise RR r03/AudioFiles/RR01_SL01 LACR Mech Ped_0r3.wav

Sample file not found on disk: Keyboards/Rhodes - LA Custom/LACR Pedal Noise RR r03/AudioFiles/RR01_SL01 LACR Ped_0 r03.wav

Any solutions or have people experienced similar problems and know how to work round it?

Im a mac user and i downloaded the zippy links and unrar with unarchiver plus i tried moved the keyscape library folder in both locations to see if the problem was resolved.

The only thing i can think of now is downloading from a torrent when available like someone suggested and enjoy what is working for the time being.

Thanks again.

I was having problems like that when I tried to use Keyscape before my Keyboards folder was complete. Now it's complete, and it contains 53 items, 77,320,020,975 bytes. I wonder if maybe you're missing something there?
  Member 6.11.2016 1 15

Thanks

I did download everything

I just checked and my folder says 76,856,747,152 bytes and contains 49 items. So I'm missing some stuff.

I might just download some instruments again from zippyshare, i just hope its not a problem with the zippy share links.

I get a similar error msg with the instruments below but the sound still works apart from the LA Custom Rock.

LA Custom C7
Rhodes - LA Custom
Wing Upright
Rhodes classic
Wurlitzer 140B
Duo (Both)
Wing tack piano
Rhodes Piano Bass
Wurlitzer 200A
Vintage Vibe
(ample file not found on disk: Keyboards/Rhodes - LA Custom/LACR Mechanical Pedal Noise RR r03/AudioFiles/RR01_SL01 LACR Mech Ped_0r3.wav)
Vintage Vibe Tine Bass
Electric Grand CP70 ( I already re downloaded that)

Everything else works perfectly.

Everything works for me.I had a few problems at first but they were fixed thanks to Olymoon. Well worth the time and effort to get this. Thanks to all involved.

Everything working here beautifully, all amps and grands. Just that got the torrent instead, seemed like a simpler option in this case with everything already sorted out.
But no matter the download method, source for files is the same. So just as long all files are included and in proper folders should be plausible to make this work as well. And man, once you do is it gobsmacking. Even for people cannot play for *hit.

@c.chiefly thanks for giving me the list. It helped me a lot. I hadn't installed some smaller files which were in a folder called various. Now i have everything and followed installation instructions.

I still get the error msgs and the LA Custom still has some files missing so i don't know how to fix it.

Im currently downloading a torrent, fingers crossed it works. In all honesty i was gonna buy a month on uploaded when Keyscape became available, but there was zippy share links so didn't bother.

Im a huge fan of Audioz and i appreciate everything they have done. 90% of Keyscape works for me but i cant deal with those error messages every time i load an instrument.

Im enjoying the sound of this instrument.

Taharka, I just did some simple math. You are missing 4 items, which total 463,273,823 bytes. Most of the items are larger than that, so it looks like you are missing 4 of the smaller items. Judging by size, probably what you are missing are 4 of the items on the following list:

Bassman.db - 1.4 mb
Boutique.db - 1.8 mb
Brit-Vox.db - 2.1 mb
Classic Toy Piano.db - 211.6 mb

Testing this out... 8GB, quad-core, Win 7, STEAM folder on an external (USB3) SSD. Getting tons of dropouts/dropped notes, even with the THINNER option enabled. The only pianos that play ok are the ones that load around 500MB of memory or less.

I have my page file set to 512MB, which I read was good (and better than an 8GB). Can anyone verify if this is wise?

Does Keyscape really need 16GB or more ram? And an SSD that's connected via SATA, eSATA, or PCIe? I thought USB3 would be fast enough.

Thanks!
Thanks!

Strange...
Quad Core 8GB internal drive 7200/min, run perfectly

My only problem is some presets with amps, they load correctly but no sound...
  Member 30.11.2016 13

Same exact problem. I get the key noise, especially from the Rhodes Suitcase, but no playable sound. The amp stuff is confusing. Should all the db files be located in "Keyboards"? Even the effects?

Btw, good news-- a restart and loading fully with "THINNER" versions keeps everything playable, even the C7. No issues with the sustain pedal or anything.
  Resident 30.11.2016 88

Runs fine here. My machine is MacBook Pro 2011, dual-core. 16gb ram, 1tb SSD.

With Keyscape (in Mainstage) and a few other things open, only about half my ram is being used. So I have a feeling your problem is not ram, it's your USB drive.
  Resident 23.10.2010 392

You're not alone. I thought I was the only one getting drop outs... especially when holding the sustain pedal. It acts crazy.
  Member 30.11.2016 13

The thing that helped me-- a full restart, having Omni2 remember to always load "THINNER" versions (hit the lock icon). Now, no issues at all, even with the C7... and all presets containing it.

I'm sure I would probably have better luck putting everything on a 16GB or 32GB ram system.. but... so far, things are ok with this.
  Resident 1.07.2015 4 649

If ur getting drop outs, then it might help to check ur Omni / Keytard settings page. I think Keytard defaults to 32 voices, or smthn. With (especially) Sustain pressed, ur gonna run outta "voices" (ie notes played) causing dropped notes. At least, I'm guessing that's the issue? Bear in mind, u might run outta processing power if u set it too high?

Check here if ur having probs locating / understand...
Thx to anybody posting Spitfire / OTB libs!

Thank you VERY much chiefly! And thanks for your patience.
Scanning >70G takes a while for sure

BTW, on Mac, you can open terminal, cd to the folder with all those files and just enter: md5 *
  Resident 30.11.2016 88
+6
Thanks for explaining that. I knew there would have to be a way to do it with Terminal, and I looked for instructions, and I found stuff like this:

find -s "$@" -type f -exec md5 '{}' \; > "$@"/checksums.md5
cat "$@"/checksums.md5 > "$@"/checksums.txt

That's supposed to put the results in a file, but I couldn't get that to work, even after I put my correct path in there. I think those instructions are about comparing two folders, but I thought I could adapt it. Anyway, I didn't realize there was a much simpler approach, so I appreciate learning that from you.

Also, it turns out that Terminal produces the result much more quickly, only takes a minute or two.
  Resident 2.10.2008 506
+147
Thanks :)
BTW, the "find" alternative has the advantage of calculating files in sub-folders too.
A simpler form: cd to the destination folder from which you wish to start, then:
find . -type f -exec md5 '{}' \; > checksums.md5
...will do the same for all files in this folder and all folders below, and write the results to "checksums.md5".
If you only "say": find . -type f
you will get a list of all files below your current folder in terminal.
Could be useful too, like e.g. cd to the STEAM folder then use this command.

I have the 53 .db data base files in: Spectrasonics\STEAM\Keyscape\Soundsources\Factory\Keyscape Library\Keyboards. All patches load and the "majority" of them play sound. However, I think anyone who can confirm the Pianet "M" patches are playing sound would surely have changed something about the folder structure, naming, and contents that differs from having everything in the folder "Keyboards".. otherwise there is a small amount of content that was never uploaded.

When I did it that way, nothing worked. I started with Keyscape Library here:

STEAM\Keyscape\Soundsources\Factory\

Didn't work. Then I put Keyscape Library here:

STEAM\Omnisphere\Soundsources\Factory\

And then everything worked. Keep in mind there is also a Keyscape folder (167.8mb) here:
