Let me break it down for you: A)I don't complain. B) I'm grateful which is funny because I work my ass off and many do nothing yet still can't muster that vibe. C) Oh yeah and I work on BOTH sites 7 days a week for NOTHING, now that's altruism. I was looking for a way to contribute and so I did. Believe me I've shared plenty just not here because I am too busy managing other things that benefit you day in and day out and sometimes in ways you're not even aware of. Sorry if in addition to all that I do I haven't had another lifetime to post links for you as well. The only people that ever talk bad about me are always those that do absolutely nothing but complain. You don't know me so keep your ignorant misguided views out of my face.

Audioz: Cataly5t - 314 posts though I made this account later than you (and each post should be times 10 because of their length): moderated 7 days a week for free even during times of great personal issues, found and stopped issues that threaten the livelihood of this site in ways you might not imagine, answered about a billion PMs helping people with questions about the site or issues they were experiencing, provided help and support for your software, site bug reports, constant meetings with SAiNT, planning for upgrades and review of design elements, stood against Sunny when he tried to muscle in on other contributors downloads with his posts because he said they had some technical errors in their uploads (which was nonsense), was appreciative to those members posting quality mirrors links both in sentiment and by including them in giveaways and contests for free accounts as gratitude, worked hard to raise community standards, kept people from tearing each other apart on a daily basis, ended the PC vs. Mac war and about a million other things I don't even have time to write or remember because most of all I hate these kinds of lists but since you have no scruples I just had to set the record straight. If I get frustrated and have to call a spade a spade it's because of people like you.

AudioSex: Catalyst - 1,401 posts TOP CONTRIBUTOR in way less time than anyone even near me in posts (again times that by 10 because of length of posts), moderated 7 days a week for free, answered billions of PMs for new members and regulars, supported people with the software that they use, gave tips whether it be concerning music production or advice on software music related or otherwise, shared much knowledge, gave feedback on music, organized contests, posted your news so you can be aware of the world (file-sharing and otherwise), started listening booths where you can check out cool new music, Contributors In Need initiative rewarding people for helping either forum in any capacity, promoting members offering services such as logo design, mixing and mastering so people could get quality work done at a reasonable price (working on a whole separate section for quality services), contacted members who disappeared to find out what happened and when things weren't good offered to help in any way that I could.

I'm not even going to list what I do in the real world because I'll save you from feeling like total garbage. It's just so pathetic that you would even dare point your finger at me, I should send you some of the mail I get and make you feel like an ass. You can't focus on anything more than the finger that you point at other people because you're too much of a lazy, spineless, coward to see the man in the mirror. I don't always talk to people this way but when I do it's to people like you.

Thanks for the sentiment as well, I really appreciate it. I agree with you but the fact is that I have tried to stop Sunny from muscling in on other contributor's downloads as I stated above to the hypocrite dbMuzik. The reason I accept my view as the truth is because I see the full scope of this thing while many just look at it from their perspective and really Sunny wouldn't be a factor if someone stepped up to be there first, but they don't so he remains central. Barely anyone even posts mirrors to any of the sites that people like so why would you think that someone would come with all the altruism in the world to save us from dystopia by taking over the uploads? Things here are a balance of forces and it is the staff's job to see that they don't outweigh each other which I have always tried to do in any way that I can. Balance is necessary but most come from the point of view of wanting to tip the scales in their favor and in the middle of that is the staff who work their asses off and get commentary like I just did from dbMuzik.

Cataly5t is definetely a humorous, nice and cooperative guy. I know him from many posts at AudioSex. He is the one who is one of the fastes and most qualified members when its about to help someone solving a poblem! I'm always impressed and also perplexed how somebody can spend so much energy and time in managing this. But then when I once again thought about it and I took a look to the "Appreciated By: list" of this thread it suddenly became clear. I recognized he is two persons!

Thanks lukehh that was really touching and may just undo the awe I have at what dbMuzik just said. I'm trying not to think about it because it might actually break my brain. I really do all this because I care about these communities and I never once asked anything in return but gave all that I could because it's just who I am. It wasn't for praise but because there are good people here and they deserve a good place to connect with what matters to them and why shouldn't I step up to try and deliver that if I am able? But you gave away my secret that I have found a way to clone myself, people will expect me to do everything now.

I would say only bitshare and hulkfile can compete against putlocker, don't chose it as the next primary but at least allow uploaders to add mirrors from putlocker on everypost.

You know I can't allow you to make that comment just like other sites don't allow comments about us. That is actually a recent development and they were using Uploaded for quite a while before that. Let's not even compare the amount of stuff available here and the stuff available there. Roughly 7,000 articles compared to the tens of thousands we have on Audioz.

Eh, I've been downloading from this site less and less. It's still a place I check from time to time, but the complete absence of decent upload sites keeps me away.

There are, now, 3 other audioz sites that I'm aware of who use putlocker and mega links regularly.

No reason for me to continue on in this debate.

In certain countries torrents are the most dangerous because of repressive measures by copyright assholes. Even private torrent sites have their headaches in maintaining ratios which I personally hate because I download a little and then I'm stuck leaving my computer uploading for years to make it up because of the ridiculous disparity between download and upload speeds. I prefer secure FTP.

Honestly I don't even download that much these days. I have most of what I need and I'd rather learn that thoroughly.

also about cubase and nuendo it took AiR 7000 hours to crack it nd there will not be a cubase 7 and nuendo 6/7 version ever if it is released its going to be internal like cubase studio 4..........

He wasn't trying to indicate it was an intellectual matter but rather a matter of character of the people complaining in that they don't post but they expect other people to post, he just used noobs as a way to say you must be unfamiliar with how a community works, you just took it literally as an assault on your intellect (why I can't imagine). You were trying to say that with that rhetoric it paints me in the context of someone that doesn't contribute but you left out the part where I'm not one of the people complaining, I can deal with the links as they are (even though I support initiatives to expand those), I'm a staff member and I contribute in other ways so even if I have 0 posts it is irrelevant. That however is not the case of many of the other members complaining who want new links and don't contribute in ANY way so it just doesn't equate at least to my feeble mind. I don't take jabs at people I make them face who they are with all the uncomfortable truths that brings and when necessary I reflect the same attitude that they have back at them. If you're too lazy to search the site for something I mention it, if you can't Google something and expect others to do it for you I bring that up too, if you cause nothing but problems for everyone I call you out on it ...don't blame me for other peoples inadequacies. Most people have just gotten used to people feeding that instead of holding them to a higher standard and that's not what I'm about...whether you like it or not because I really don't give a crap. Poor people do exist, at least that's what they tell me in the news every day.
Me personally, I could afford that - though I would never buy 2 years at any filehoster since they will be gone tomorrow whenever the feds and media lawyers want it - but I just don't think that UL is the best choice so I prefer to spend my money elsewhere.
But I also realize that uploaders have exactly the same right to choose what they think is best so I'm not wasting time complaining about that. You can do whatever you want, and it's strange how hard it is for people to accept this simple fact.
