I have analyzed mirrors that our contributors choose to upload to, and now i offer you to vote for the best one.

In result of this voting, we will make it a new rule to add the chosen file sharing service in every post.

there is no point in offering RS or any other services that i haven't included in this list, so please don't spam the comments.

UPD:
there is a newer poll on this subject!

Please keep in mind that some contributors are banned on some hosting sites, so they must use alternatives.

Well how can someone be banned permanently? Just create a new account with fake e-mail and done.

I seriously doubt that the banned uploaders you're talking about are using a permanent ip.

On topic: Uploaded is great but deletes fast while Netload links stay online surprisingly long (e.g. I found most of the Soniccouture stuff via Netload while it was long down here).

I am not so sure uploaded.to is the most reliable

the links do not work if you use a download manager , they seem to rotate,
and the link is lost

I need to import every link into my account so that it will be there when my
download manager finally tries to download it

also it seems almost impossible to pay for a premium account all they have now
is webmoney, and if you can find a reseller they add 10 or 20 dollars for the
privilege of helping you buy a premium account

things that might also need consideration

people that use download managers need links that are stable and don't disappear
when they come up in the queue 10 hours after they have been captured
I am not talking about the link being removed, but in someway I do
not understand ,the original link no longer being valid

the use of a credit card to pay for a premium account , one that I can purchase at
my corner store ,you know the 50 ,75 ,100 dollar ones, so I do not use any of my real credit cards and give the number to some guy in Al-Qamishli, Kurdistan to get a premium
account

It had a rough patch but RapidGator has been the best for me but it has a 16 gig limit per
day if you download a lot of stuff

FileFactory is also really good it works in my download manager just the way fileserve
and filesonic used to work , select the link , it's in the queue and away it goes

I also really like rapidshare but only funtime use that host

I know the contributors have taken some heat lately , I have tried to transfer files from
host to host, it can be a pain, I do not understand the pay per download thing, I have looked into it and probably with some work I could do it, but I would not, because for me
it is just to big a pain in the butt , put up the picture , the info , file sizes,
winrar sizes and do the other things that make a proper release

I like this site and have contributed some things, but I have worried about it
and I know that of the 1000's of people that come here and see things very few
would contribute to cover the legal costs , if one of these guys got into trouble

this is probably the wrong post to write this in , thank you for your time

It's not enough to make a new fake email account ;)
You need a new IP. You can use a proxy or IP changer, BUT most Hosters
don't accept proxy's.
Rapidshare.com is a good example.

For myself this is not a problem, but for others it is!

This is easy to over come, locate and download how to create a stealth ebay account pdf, it's not free, but you can find it for free easy enough, and the techniques used for that can be applied to creating new hoster accounts. There are ways round the IP issues etc you mention, not that hard at all, read the ebook, it might be helpful for uploaders.

I didn't vote + i won't. no

Why? Because i don't like that idea "to add the chosen file sharing service in every post". Many of us contributors do just upload their goodies to mirror hosting files, so in some cases you can't always choose a particular site only!

And then after some time the IN-Filehosters of today will be out+forgotten....as it already happened!

I think all that file-hosters are crappy and not accesible to all users.
MediaFire-Zyddu-ZippyShare-LimeLinx...
Thats my top file-hosters.
FREE is FREE... or not ?

Like I said, it's only a problem for people with a static ip, and who is so dumb uploading tons of stuff with a fixed ip? Could be getting very expensive if the feds gonna hunt you down.

With a dial in connection you get a new ip with every new connection, so in my opinion the "they deleted my account" is just a lame excuse because the provider does not pay enough.

That's the main point: Audioz should allow mirrors no matter what, then there would be no discussion about which hoster to use.

If you force people to use mirrors, they're gonna trick you with fake links or they delete their links after 5 minutes, saying "My account got banned" etc.

Just voted for Uploaded in a rush, but after reading the comments, I changed my mind. Definitely, NetLoad is the one that holds files longer. This is a very important issue... Can I change my vote?.

NETLOAD = THE BEST ONE!

my only problem with ul.to is that in some cases (large files) I may be willing to purchase a premium account for a month. Since this site is not in english and doesn't accept paypal, I cannot do that. I don't speak German!
Also what about Zippyshare - by far the fastest

Zippyshare regularily blocks Jdownloader, so it could be a PITA to download a big release split into dozens of files.

@audjob:

When I load any uploaded.to webpage I see it in English!. I don't know what's happening with you. Also, you may use the free google live web translation service which tranalates virtually from aany language to yours, in real time.

G'd luck!

voted also for "uloaded", because it works well (speed) in my country at europe, and works also good with download managers like "jdownloader", without typing Captures on any packed part in a window (after the speed, this is the second inportand thing that let me decide voting for "uploaded")

The ISP Saves date and time and name for all IP's static or not.

All the feds do is take the Ip and ask ISP's for there list and cross reference it.

I have a dynamic IP and I have had days before I can download the next file on some hosts
can you tell me why dokx1

Guys got to be kiddin...

This is about sharing the content the more quickly and easily way, of course for FREE
The rest of servers which you are talking about, don't have anything like that.
Slow speed, limited downloads, in resume you must buy a premium account, thats not free in my world...

You guys are going crazy?

Uploaded.to was the best until march, but ul.to was sold last march.

When you upload to it, just a matter of hours they take your links out, even before our posts, before no one knows about the links.

I realized that most people who voted in ul.to, are people downloading files, not the people who upload.

I'm sorry to say, that it is a matter of time for ul.to die.

Hey, good idea to do this poll (even though most other people seem to be trashing the idea and finding every little thing wrong with it).

It seems like uploaded.to is the most popular - although I like how extabit allow you to buy no. of downloads, rather than an ongoing subscription.

Something important is that these sites are always coming and going, and also changing over time - so it might be good to have this vote as an ongoing thing - maybe a little widget at the top which you can always click on - saying which one is currently your favourite - and letting you change that whenever you want.

Cheers

I still prefer Rapidshare and it's not even on the list. I still have uploads up there from 3 1/2 -4 years ago. Plus, whenever it's listed as an option in a multi hosting site, it always has a lot more downloads than the others. Thanks to kookaboo and a few others who include Rapidshare in the choices.

Free accounts with Rapidgator and Turbobit SUCK here in Australia. Everytime I attempt a download with one of those, it always get's cut off. Most of these new kid on the block file hosting services really suck.
