I really think you should close this topic (or prevent more posting ability) and never ask them for an opinion at all...after all it is the staff that is doing all the hard work so why even bother?

in one hand, it's true, yeah;
but in the other, there are always good people that might want to express their opinion, and i'm interested in that opinion.

talking to users is essential. but, in the future, i'll probably limit such discussions to Residents only.

Or is there a hidden rule that says its ok because they have special privileges and we wouldn't want to lose our main asset

if "moron" or "stupid" is objectified (i.e. it's an actual statement) then it's not an insult.

depending on how hard one's insults are, i usually take time to explain that this behavior will not be tolerated and if i see it once again, that member will be banned;
but sometimes i ban them straight away, like i just did with DarthVader.

Ul.to is pretty darn expensive. I'm surprised people picked that one as number 1.

I think this thread should have a revision from time to time. Just my two cents.

I am grateful no matter what, but we have so many better options then uploaded and rapidgator . There's really no need to use paid and timed hosting sites when there's some that are free and you can download as many as you want with no time limit. Why do we keep using these sites? The hell do I know..
