My releases are ALL altruistic - not one of my link points to those lame profit-makers! And if it doesn't make way to others it's because Admins. impose it to use a certain file hosting site! This whole thread proofs it.

That's like saying that when you vote candidates are being imposed on you. Well that's why I didn't mention you, you're the exception...not the rule. Nobody is imposing anything, I listed a bunch of releases where people posted links to services that our members wanted and we can add all your posts to that list. I'm just trying to get you guys to see the big picture. You want change then you have to be that change but it's easier for others to complain than to get to work.

Also, I don't like how it handles the downloads. First, it creates some sort of database in the browser cache to store the downloaded data, then it reasembles the actual file, you want to save

it's better to use JDownloader for Mega, no issues with browsers (it doesn't matter what browser you have), and download-speed is also faster). But i agree, Mega is more comfortable for uploaders (i mean for that uploaders who don't need money) than for downloaders

I voted for uploaded.to in conjunction with jdownloader, simply because of the speed and the voucher i always give to those who need it.

Lets just cut to the chase.. UL links are profitable. History has already shown it's a reckless and risky way to go about anything geared towards piracy. It's "asking for it". If someone bakes a cake to sell for 5 dollars a slice and a hungry man who can't afford it takes one and eats it he's not a target as long as the guy who's stolen the recipe and is selling slices at a cheaper price is still at large. But regardless, I can't speak for another man. UL has been here, and if uploaders want it to remain it should stay. But I also think an additional alternative is fair in mind. It's Ironic to see complaints because Putlocker is the best free exchange. To see some in turn playing the corporate role over this is quite amusing. To contest the introduction of Putlocker is the same as saying "No!.. I don't care if it takes you two weeks to download something for so long as I profit from it. Afterall, my links provide an alternative to go Premium.. and I don't want there to be any other alternative than that!" Now say it aint so!

Dude you have no clue about sharing and filehosters - how long do you think Putlocker or any other minor file hoster will provide its service if the majority of uploaders (and then downloaders) would go there?

You get a couple of 100 mb Mp3 albums fast and free, and you really think that the same goes for 10 GB of sample libraries? Better think again then.

As always, evolution will decide: uploaders will always go where the money is, downloaders will follow. We already had Rapidshare, Hotfile, Filesonic, Fileserve, Megaupload etc. pp. Some day Uploaded will be history as well, another service will take over its place until it is taken down, and the story continues.

It is important to explain that Uploaded.to is deleting links each day faster.

It seems that a lot of uploaders are not willing to invest the least of time to secure their uploads - with decrypted file names or link crypting services - and then they complain about that their files get deleted?

They'll be angrier than the music and film industry put together whenever a Putlocker mirror pops up. Lol.. I can see the headline already>

Putlocker.com / sockshare.com aint free any site that gets TRAFFIC will be noticed and be removed, sumtimes i think people on here are stupid, if u name a file from STIENBERG to 364ydyd7db how will they knw whats in it.

You guys THINK you understand but honestly you don't know the first thing about it if we're on page 9 and people are still talking about anything but what's on the poll. Before the next person comes to bitch and moan I want you to ask yourselves one question: are you prepared to post mirrors to the locker of your choosing and keep the links alive? If the answer is no then don't even talk because you're the problem not the solution. Everyone comes in with their big ethics and commands about how things should be done but these are the same people that never post shit. I'm thinking of reuploading "Sample Modeling The Soprano And Bass Clarinets v1.0.3 Incl Keygen WiN/MAC" once to uploaded and once to MEGA ... then take my stop watch and count the seconds till uploaded and MEGA links will went down!

do that If you haven't noticed, i've been including MEGA links in most of my posts, so i do have experience with that.

i said that, but i still put UL.to into the list, and personally i'll be glad if it wins, because like i already said 2 times before, i really like UL.to and download from it 90% of time.

this was never about the variety of mirrors - it's dead posts that bothered me all along.

That is why it is an hypocrisy to say that it is bad to earn money on posting. If no one earns money posting, you don't have 10percent of the libraries/vst you actually use.

it's not a problem for them the choice of the file hosting, ..., the only important thing is the file hosting have to give them money with uploads.

So the choice should be important for them. That is why I am surprised by their silence.

Is the mirror chosen by the uploaders or is it still within the democratic poll style of voting that the 2nd highest poll chosen file hoster is the one that is elected or does it then get chosen only by the non democratic (uploaders) voting parties?

i'm not entirely sure i understand the question, but i'm using free PollDaddy account and i have no way of editing the results of this poll.

I would also like to point out that previously we had people complaining that the poll was cheated - this is why i'm using proven service on a side, to make sure results are 100% fair.

Like i said before, i did asked a few uploaders, a few members, then i looked at other web-sites, to see what they use. this is how i came up with this list of FFS.

@dokx1: On the contrary, that's exactly what they're doing and have been doing. When a 10gb+ library pops up here they jump domains and download from Putlocker within the hour. To have a clue about sharing.. everything that hits AudioZ first is mirrored over to other sites (some which have Putlocker). And they are on it like clockwork. My guess is the majority have already been jumping ship in those case scenarios. And for the few who don't know, of course UL uploaders aren't eager to point them in another direction. But no one should anyway. There's a code of silence and that's how it should be. So if some feel inconvenienced they're only at fault themselves for being too lame to conduct a search for what they want in those cases.

Yes it's all one big conspiracy and really we're all living in mansions and laughing about how we make your lives a living hell by giving you an awesome website with links to free software uploaded daily for your convenience and ask nothing in return. It doesn't really matter considering nobody else is going to be posting and keeping links alive anyway, they only make mention of it for other people to actually do all the work. The only thing you can count on is that people will flap their lips and nonsense will come out.

why not to change MF\RS to PUTLOCKER\MEGA? or add them, they gives more freedom for uploaders without premiums. i guess discussion of PFS will be always controversial, there are lot of opinions. I don't think it's possible to call certain fileshare as PFS for everyone.

@navid811: It's sad but what Billy Boo said is true.. there's a thin line between "Uploader" and "Dimedropper". Just like any other business, the ones that are out to make money want to rid themselves of their competition. And for the record you can download as many Putlocker files simultaneously as your connection can handle as a FREE user. You don't even have to sign in as a FREE user. You don't have to fill a captcha. And you have to wait seconds/hours before, after, or in between. One thing I agree is attaching the manufacturer names to the files is stupid. But doing that (especially on Putlocker links) is part of the uploader's' hustle in alot of cases. Just think about it.

what we need, is someone to prepare and post an article about JDownloader and how to use it.

What I hate about ul.to is the huge wait between downloads, but it doesn't even tell you you can't download until you've already gone through the 60 seconds or so and then entered a painful captcha.

I only use Uploaded........keep it, please!

Thanks for the reply SAiNT, my question might of been a bit complex so i will try and break it down for you without hopefully straying away from what i was trying to originally ask.

What i was trying to ask was - At the end of the voting and we have a winner does the 2nd place file hoster become the mirror file hoster by vote or is that controlled by the people who didn't vote in the poll (the uploaders) ?

The JDownloader topic sounds good as more of a remedy. Because let's face it.. the fact that the bulk uploaders haven't said anything between almost 200 comments tells me one thing: We might see alot less warez in general if Putlocker comes directly into the picture here (as much as some would like to see it). Maybe a topic that advises people who DON'T know> they can google their way to the Putlocker links they want if they insist on it. They may have to wait a few hours, but in their case it may still yield quicker results. Or, they may nag and complain below every post..

and "Putlocker Please" will become the new "Mac Please".
