UPD: so after reading all the comments and reviewing the rating, i've decided not to replace KF until there will be a really decent alternative, because the only one i had in mind is NitroFlare, which is not that much better than KF, but at least they are one of the strongest on the market.

Remember, to me the top criteria is reliability, which means that FS has to be around for at least several years and developed good reputation;
it also has to be widely used elsewhere, so you wouldn't have to buy premium just for AudioZ.

most of the alternatives that you mentioned are either new, have bad reputation, don't work somewhere or for someone.
Torrents are off the table. It was almost perfect file sharing protocol, but these days they are so massively blocked and even prosecuted in some countries, that i simply don't see any future for torrents on this layer of internet.
I had high hopes for iPFS since they started and i keep watching it, but even so far iPFS doesn't work as it supposed to.

therefore let's leave things as they are for now, but please don't pay for the annual premium expecting it to last in this unstable industry.

To form all the links into one downloader, just download jdownloader2, mark all the links, CTRL+C (or right click, click copy), and it will download everything and unpack it too.

Not true, it will download everything (if the links work), the only limitation is that it will download slowly and not everything at once, so you have to wait for daily, hourly, or whatever limits they implemented for free users

CNU is a pain, their servers couldnt handle the load. Files were simply unavailable for days, downloads simply stopped or restarted in a loop in JD2. Would avoid.
If you want to supply something, you can. PM is open for that.

katfile was an absolutely impossible pita with vpns. good riddens.

my vote is for a torrent system as well. torrent is robust, RESUMABLE, and the most fault tolerant next to FTP. I still remember the heady days of IRC and ftp's camped on corp servers. those were the days...

IRC is an text base chat Protocol which was released in 1988 (in the early days of public internet), which was also used to share files, but it is not used much by the mainstream people nowadays as it was back than.

I used to have IRC open with multiple channels all the time, like a messenger app. IRC is still alive and well, but not many people use it. Shame.

Never had a Problem with ProtonVPN and Katfile. Pixeldrain would be an nice free Hoster alternative in my Opinion if the 5GB limit exceeds (Or just switch IP via VPN and get another 5 GB at fullspeed) it still loads faster than clicknupload and there are no captchas and files can be easily 5 GB Parts for Big Kontakt Libz. Mediafire would be a dream, but i don't know how much link abuse there is (Speedwise always fast and Files can be Big).

RG does the same. I'm using a very secure but little more expensive vpn service
and RG always blocks downloading then by resetting to free account.
Maybe it's because that vpn allows me to add several blocking lists like in ublock origin
to make the whole connection free from ads, trackers, social media, any google service,
analytics etc., I don't know.
That way I became a link collector to download everything once in some weeks from
very fast but free hotspots in outlying areas.

P.S. FS block VPN (all suspicious IP) because of debrids. they put lots of effort to fight them.

Real-Debrid often has problems with KatFile for some reason, so I always use Rapidgator links anyway. Torrents would be great indeed but that probably won't happen, gotta pay the server costs somehow.

I had/have the exact opposite issue with real-debrid & RG/Katfile. I've never experienced any sort of issues with Katfile downloads & RG downloads are frequently super slow for me so I always use the Katfile links (when available). Very strange...

Same here with Katfile on LS. Never experienced any sort of issues with Katfile downloads. Fast and reliable. My primary choice after UL departure that also worked very well with LS. Sometimes the problems were/are with RG links on LS.

For me the same, KAT was the most reliable one, always good speed and most time available. No issues at all with captchas (Jdownl.), when I used the KAT links in the dl section

Always had issues with katfile and captchas. Most of the time used to throw a wrong captcha error. Other good options I can think of are 1fichier, uploadrar, mega.nz, clicknupload, send.cm, pixeldrain.
