KatFile will be Discontinued... one day screenshot
we'll be discontinuing KatFile as our primary mirror soon, so please do not buy or prolong your premium.

UPD: so after reading all the comments and reviewing the rating, i've decided not to replace KF until there will be a really decent alternative, because the only one i had in mind is NitroFlare, which is not that much better than KF, but at least they are one of the strongest on the market.

Remember, to me the top criteria is reliability, which means that FS has to be around for at least several years and developed good reputation;
it also has to be widely used elsewhere, so you wouldn't have to buy premium just for AudioZ.

most of the alternatives that you mentioned are either new, have bad reputation, don't work somewhere or for someone.
Torrents are off the table. It was almost perfect file sharing protocol, but these days they are so massively blocked and even prosecuted in some countries, that i simply don't see any future for torrents on this layer of internet.
I had high hopes for iPFS since they started and i keep watching it, but even so far iPFS doesn't work as it supposed to.

therefore let's leave things as they are for now, but please don't pay for the annual premium expecting it to last in this unstable industry.

I'm defending it because it's good and I personally haven't experienced any problems with it except rare "captcha wrong" annoyance, so you have to click the images 2-3 times, sometimes more. But when it comes to reliability of downloads... superb FH. For me, at least.

Also, with all these FHs which limit the number of downloads per hour, an AZ user who wants to download some files freely, can download only as much files as there are FHs at the moment, and wait for two hours to download other files if there are say 3 parts or more. Having less FHs will exacerbate the problem. We need more File Hosters, not less.

If you Torrent with a VPN with Auto Kill Feature and No Log Police there is no Security Problem in my opinion. Also most Debrid Services have a Torrent to DDL Feature also there is Webtor for People which do not use Debrid Services.

If we go down the torrent route I'm prepared for it.... Been a member on Audionews for awhile & it only takes a small amount of time to bring your ratio up.

Turbobit could be a reliable option. It is part of the multihosters and has been on the market for many years, for me it is very similar to Rapidgator. I think ultimately it will be a question of what will be more positive for the shipper kids.
In any case, from what I see today, Nitroflare will be the one chosen.
Audioz is culture within everyone's reach.

OMG Nitro is NOT working with my advertised LS overhere.

Turbobit as backup only. Bigger files are often to early n.a.
And they have a daily dl limit you reach very fast with LS.

genuine question: why not use Mediafire? its one of the fastest, easiest and hussle free download platforms out there
be kind :)

Yeah absolutely. I never downloaded large size files from mediafire before. Yesterday for the first time I downloaded a 16gb file from there. Was surprised to see that they allow us to upload huge files and even download without any speed restrictions. So +1 for mediafire.

I use MediaFire regularly and I like it very much but AFAIK you can't upload executable files even if they are on a ZIP or RAR. That's what I remember.

A big yes to mediafire!

I agree with myself, MediaFire is excellent. I've even downloaded movies as large as 4GB from there
If you only look at one side of the coin, you'll never truly know if it's a coin.

It's a shame. Katfile always worked great for me.

KF used to be very reliable for me. It had the same speed as RG for free user. Just a few months back, I always got "wrong IP" problem. Sometimes I used VPN to work around it. But I didn't like to turn on VPN for downloading anything pass 100MB because it would take an hour or more to do so. I hope there is reliable replacement for KF.

On KF (as free user when I'm not home) I always get "You have to wait 2 hours" even if I didn't download anything before.

Simply Put Rapidgator are pigs and often breaks

KatFile is always on par and faster

so... I really dislike this post

why bring down rapidgator instead

Because Link abuse on Katfile is way higher than on Rapidgator, when i go to old stuff on AudioZ which has both links provided most of the time Katfile shows 404 and Rapidgator is up and works like a charm.

Don't understand that . Especially KAT & DD are the most reliable when using linksnappy.
rappidg. is rather crippy & nitrofl. a not working client.

hope you do a wise selection since next by you promote LS on your page.

DD is impossible as free user to use, same for NF, its painfully slow.
your working client is simply JD2.

RG works fine with JD2.

KF was decent as free user i think, if we ignore the ads in the evaluation.
If you want to supply something, you can. PM is open for that.

I beg to differ

I have bad experiences using linksnappy and Rapidgator links
Not having to mention that rapidgator links are often down

always success and faster download speed with KatFile

No happy with this decision at all...

Sometimes, for splice Sample for exemple, when rapidgator links are down, the katfile links are still alive. So katfile is not so bad !

filefactory is a strong option
  Resident 25.02.2021 3 66

There is a huge captcha issue with katfile. Secondly it doesn't even allow multiple downloads for free users like rapidgator does. As a free user, one has to wait for the first download to finish. And coming to filefactory, it's only good for downloading file size of 50mb or less, coz it downloads at 50kbps which is way too slow.

Katfile worked 100 percent all the time for me.Why change?I've yet to see an explanation for the change. If there is a change it better be one on Linksnappy that works because Rapidgator dos not work most of the time on LinkSnappy.

Nothing wrong with Rapidgator.
It's worked for me for at least a decade, without any problems.

All these filehosters are so limited, slow speed but fast to take down links, and be forced to download / upload dozens of links for a library is a real pain.
The only one I like is 1fichier which allows 100 GB files at decent speed.

The best download / upload option I know and I use since 2005 is Usenet/newsgroups.
Full speed and private servers, 5600+ days of retention for best providers.
You need a subscription but you can find some great deals for about 20-30$ a year, unlimited traffic and VPN included.
A lot cheaper and far more efficient than most file hosters and other expensive seedboxes or VPN providers.
All of you who known "Captn Salvo" usenet posts in the past will surely agree, most of these are still available several years later.
