My intention wasn't to complain. Instead, I just stated the fact that my choice is/was not available. Although, I would like someone to give a logical explanation why. Thank you.

It's cool, I actually explained it a lot in this thread. The answer is that we are voting for our primary locker, remember we still have mirrors and sometimes we do have faster links thanks to our awesome member+ members, who to me are part of our family. Every other site uses Uploaded.net as a primary even our "competitors" and I don't even consider them competitors but friends. Recently Parcell trying to alleviate the situation and make everyone happy has started on a campaign of providing fresh links to many other lockers, even though he has been doing this for a while (people just leave that part out) So you see even though our primary is still Uploaded.net but because people care about your experience we have also provided alternative mirrors in an effort to make everyone happy (which I'm sure they still won't be). Be sure to thank these link posters that are trying to build a better world rather than tear it down which as I'm sure you'll agree is a much more difficult and worthy approach.

It's not strange to have offensive hateful comments removed on ANY forum. The world is filled with people with nothing to do but spread hate from the safety of anonymity so in an effort to make our other friendly members not have to read through that nonsense on every post I or another staff member remove them. People have just gotten lax because there was less oversight and now that there is more, these kinds of situations simply will not be tolerated particularly against staff. Removing comments is the least of what I can do but I try to give people a chance. If you have any further questions I refer you to our rules that you agreed to when you joined. They haven't changed since then so don't act like this is a new policy.

But like already has been said, there's nothing to do about this when it comes to filehosting companies. They're just guys who wanna do some business, so they will all follow DMCA to protect themselves. After the fall of Megaupload we won't see any more crazy cowboys in this field.

i don't know DMCA very well (it's American law), but does it really allow to remove files without providing appropriate information from rightholder? does it legit to "trolling" links and why companies allow this? i can see that such way have nothing with copyright protection. Companies have a right to check the content, and not delete the files if DMCA-request is wrong.

You're right though instead of doing that I will just limit offensive haters posting ability and if necessary ban them from the site. I'm glad we got that sorted.

Yeah you just hijacked the forums for days on end and I had to clean up the millions of hateful comments and shit pictures you left behind. Come at me with respect and you get respect. I was nice to you when you were nice to me on AudioSex all the time. I thanked you for your posts and publicly sang your praises for helping out the forums and even when you turned on us (and directed your anger at me though I wasn't even involved in the dispute) I tried to resolve the situation peacefully even while you were harassing another one of our members that accidentally put up a Logic post while you had one up. I bent over backwards to accommodate you and before I was mod there I was against you getting banned and was happy to see you be allowed to return. I have never talked down to a member that didn't deserve it and if I ever did accidentally I publicly (and most likely privately as well) apologized for it and removed my comment which is a lot more than I can say about you.

Yes, in theory they could do this. But in reality it's impossible for filehosters to check if every link is legit. Take UL as example, look around the web and you will see 1000's of UL links posted every single day.
So just to protect themselves from any risk of being prosecuted like Kim Dotcom, they simply block every link that gets a DMCA complaint. They do this so they can say they did everything they could to prevent piracy.
You have to understand: Their main interest is to protect their own business, not the users and their links.

Yeah, but again, look at UL. They are doing this and it hasn't exactly killed their business, has it? Most people that are into sharing warez through filehosting companies understand that this is the way the game is played.
We do what we wanna do, the media industry do what they can to stop us, and the filehosters are in the middle, just trying to make some money and stay out of jail.

And there are plenty of people that have advocated violence here that I gave another chance, most recently the lovely comment "those vermin should be gassed" referring to hard working cracking teams and our users that can't pay for an Uploaded.net account so go hound him about it. I'll tell you what though I will make sure that from now on I will simply remove hateful comments, block posting ability and ban when necessary. That way I can save my time in explaining things to people that will never get it. Believe whatever you want about me, it matters to me not.

Hey man I didn't want it to end like that and I tried to work it out with you but you kept fighting against me and I had nothing to do with why you were complaining. I gave you chance after chance and only banned you when you started stalking members, posting up hateful comments and shit pictures everywhere and insulting staff. You should remember that this wasn't the first time that you got banned (last time I wasn't even a mod). Go back and see how many times I thanked you for all the posts you made and how nice I was to you, you seem to forget that. Also you forget that most of our members and staff thought that you should be banned and stood behind my decision. Since I've been here and at AudioSex I have banned a few members mostly for spamming, posting up gay porn and being consistently offensive. I took off way more warnings than I ever issued and most people only see me when I'm popping up to help them with something, I honestly can't believe that you can even say that "it's all that I can do". I don't take enjoyment in having to use recourse such as warnings and bans which is why I write essays to get people to see the error of their ways instead of other measures but I have to do what I have to do, it is my job. And even though you hate me for some reason I wish you all the best in your endeavors.

I banned somewhere around 3 users at AudioSex in the span of about a year: 1 for spamming, 1 for putting up gay porn (gave warnings but he didn't stop) and you (whom I repeatedly warned first) which was not only my decision but SAiNT's as well as our other members and even those that liked you in the beginning thought you crossed the line and should be banned. Lest you forget that thread where everyone unanimously backed me up and went against you, in fact not a single member backed you up. You act surprised that people are banned for breaking the rules repeatedly...what planet are you on? I don't have to justify anything to you because I do what I feel is necessary and you're not my boss that I have to offer you an explanation, you want to paint me in a ridiculous context you can feel free. The reality is everyone is wrong except you and even the fact that you're still trying to fight with me after I closed my comment with: "And even though you hate me for some reason I wish you all the best in your endeavors" clearly indicates to me and everyone else here the kind of person you are.

I wouldn't ban you for something so trivial and you know it. Good night.

Maybe that will give you the time you need to cool down. If you don't and continue you know where this will end up and then don't blame me because I've been more than understanding with you. Other mods would have banned you immediately for that last comment alone but I'm giving you yet another chance because you obviously have some deep-seated issues and I have no desire to go down that path of banning you on yet another forum. Though it may not seem like it, this is a courtesy to you not a punishment so cool off, come back later and be part of the community.

You might not see them because they were deleted and really if people were normal I wouldn't have to say a thing. I don't have time to send private messages to every hater so I address issues as they arise. I guarantee you that my messages reach whoever they're written for. Really I would have closed the thread already but am leaving it open in case SAiNT wanted that for some reason.

Yes we certainly have simple rules and it never ceases to amaze me how many of our members can't seem to follow even the first one. Honestly there is no reason that anyone should be excused for their behavior once they've been warned multiple times but it all depends on the severity of their breaking of the rule. Assaults on staff are dealt with harshly because there is no way that I am going to do nothing when someone presents that level of hatred over all the time and effort SAiNT and I put in here for free. We don't expect thanks but the least people can do is not level hateful insults at us over minutiae. I usually wouldn't take any measure on something like moron or stupid right away except to say: hey is it really necessary to call someone stupid all the time and then point out our rules. In my opinion those that start with moron and stupid will in the future push their luck and really break the rules but since they haven't yet I can't ban them but I do make a mental note that I have to watch their comments. SAiNT and I should ban a lot of people here but it is our nature to turn the other cheek and give people another chance because we don't want to be the type of people that ban left and right. There is nobody here that is such an asset that I wouldn't step in if they are breaking the rules even Sunny who I have confronted many times over his treatment of our other contributors. Most people have no issues and seem to get along just fine but then there are a few members that get everyone riled up over nothing and they do this consistently. Even though I know better I try to give them something to think about which is really a courtesy because in the back of my mind I know they should be banned. Those that don't take this outstretched hand are dealt with accordingly and I know that I have done all I can to help them stay in our community. It's really a balancing act and a very difficult one at that, I look at it case by case and include their past history, what their transgression was this time, etc. and come up with a plan of action. Sometimes this is a chat, sometimes I disable their posting ability for a little while and sometimes it's so bad that I am forced to ban them immediately though my desired course of action is to resolve it peacefully. Honestly I wish I wasn't so nice sometimes because it would save me a lot of time and energy to just deal with the rules strictly. However if I deal with them strictly then there are complaints about that...
