could be that you barebone laptop has not enough system resources , dont know !

If you’re using Pro Tools HD 10, you’ll need a minimum 4 GB of RAM, but 8 GB is recommended (even more will be helpful if you want to use the new Extended Disk Cache functionality in Pro Tools HD 10).

lol thats not VRs beta 9, anonymous patch isnt even considered a beta 9 because his dll is not derived from 10.3.2, the real beta 9 is in testing by vr only. plus ampgroup did say to us call it whatever we want, he wasnt implying it was the actual beta 9 from vr, just anonymous patch that is known to be unstable with 10.3.2, technically i would call Justkiddings method beta 8, and it's probably why team vr is on beta 9 right now, they probably found the same address change as just trying. difference is beta 9 is for 10.3.2 and not for the public.

You misunderstood me bro...I was referring to the mukundas patch that is titled: "Pro Tools 10.3.2 (beta 9) Anonymous thank you" . I know Team VR is still working on the official beta 9 but some other sites on the net are referring to mukundas's patch as "the" beta 9. It's a real mess to keep track......

I know this thread has been quite confusing and frustrating at times. I have read every post from day one and I start to get confused at times. The way I look at it is we have a few options:

1. View this as a challenge, try to learn some things about hex editing, de-bugging, etc.
2. Keep up with the posts and try new downloads as they are posted....hoping for the best dunno until there is a FINAL release... dunno
3. Move on to a cracked DAW that has been proven stable. wink
4. Buy Pro Tools 10! tongue

Just my 1.5 cents! (due to devaluation of the US dollar)

hey guys ...i hv a quistion.... as in cubase we record a virtual ins ..aftr record some notes if we retake of some notes the previous notes dont b deleted and we can record new notes or retake with previously recorded notes....i hope u got wt i mean to say.... if i do same in pro tools i m not able to do the same new notes become overwrite on the previously recorded notes......i dnt think this potion is not avlble but how pls any one help me

i am tring to assign a midi instrument to an external midi,its freezes protools.
the emulated midi ports i mean,the phisical midi ports work,but the emulated ones like loopbe1 dont work,freezes windows.does any one have a clue?
