hey guyz i have PT.HD.10.3.0 with team VR patch . but it seems there are some other dll files and stuff that u are talking about it . where can i find it ? i'm asking bcos reading all comments from page 36 to 52 is really a lot of work :D

10.3.0 original + 7 VR + Justrying Mod .

No MF error .. but a few others errors .. not good

Guys, guys... Bottom line is this:
PirateBay thing = Mucundas' packaging of TeamVR's original crack with the MF error "removed" through a one-byte change (and three more bytes changed in an area that is never reached).
What is the issue is then why some get it to work better with 10.3.2 than with the original 10.3.0 that the files were compiled for. Well, there is a reason they updated ProTools, obviously... Still, be aware that the MAIN part of your program (ProTools.dll) is 10.3.0.
On the other hand - nobody would care one way or the other as long as it works... yes

well the only problem i get when i am using it ...it freezez my labtop and i have to shut it down completely thats the only problem other then that everything is fine i just wish i can fix the freezing part

Finally 10.3.2 works on Win 8 64bit
(error -9514)

- Install 10.3.2 + Patch
- Open Addon tools and ISSetupPrerequisites folder disk intallation and install Core Runtime, HD driver and Digidriver (64)
- reboot
- run with admin

Protools 10 works in Windows 8
There is a solution , its stupid but it works !!!



First you install Protools 10 ...after that, you install protools 9 (no need voor key)

en than you uninstall protools 9



Done !!!

can also do upgrade from win7 to win8 from win7 os

once upgraded to win 8 clear system of old WIN 7 os Shitz by Disk cleanup

pro tools 10.3.2 also works inside win8 x32 this way with no need of re install

If get error uninstall PT 10 Completely everythings of orginal installer: " can leave instruments they are seperate installs"

Execute cmd and type regedit

Search for [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Digidesign] remove this shitz from you registry

Re install Pt 10 same as you have done win 7 with drivers

once installed remove the Drivers if you not need

Avid need Fix Registry Entrys in future

Win 8 fastest in my opinion, but the crack works on version 8 also win, managed to do the installation by following the steps avid forum posts

I don't think Win 8 is such a good option. I honestly only installed win 7 to get Protools up and running. I mean an OS that deprives me of the right to open any folder I want to, is a disgrace !!! After all it is MY computer, I bought it, I use it and I want to abuse it !!! Does anyone know if there is an option in Win 7 to switch off this "big brother" terror? I AM THE BLOODY ADMINISTRATOR !! Who do I have to be to open a folder on Win 8 ? The US PRESIDENT ?

To put it in anonymous's words, win 7 is schitz !!

In WIN 8 UAC cannot be completely disabled.There is a registry hack but it stops the metro apps from working. :(

I tried changing the UAC settings,but that only stops the warnings that appear if you do something naughty like starting a program (sic). What really gets on my nerves is that so many folders are protected and I have to change the security settings every time (system folders, local settings, temp folders) and things like that. As an old DOS, WIN 3, win 95, win 98 and xp user I was never confronted with this type of thing. If I wanted to access files /folders it was just a matter of
changing their attributes. Anyway I found this solution on the net and it seems to have worked.

1. Click on the Start button, and then click on the computer icon or click on the computer icon on your desktop/ laptop screen.
2. Locate the drive on which the Operating System is installed.
3. Right click on that Hard Disk icon and click on properties.
4. Click the Security tab, under this click the Advanced tab.
5. Find the Change Permissions button located after the Permission Entries list and click on it.
6. A new window will pop up on your screen.
7. This new pop up window will list all the user accounts available on your computer.
8. One can choose any user account to give full access over Windows 7 and click the Edit button.
9. Now, tick the checkbox labeled “Total Control” and press OK.
10. Here you do. Done

Anyway win 7 is like a new pair of shoes to me, and you know how it is, your old shoes always feel better !! After reading Redox's comment it looks like the security overkill is going to get worse !

i don t really know ,after i made the the hidden folders visible and canceled the UAC i ve never had any problems,i gotta say i m the only user of this computer,is it possible that u didn t have full access to the folders because u share it with someone else who has the admin priviledges?
