As we have seen at present if you remove the Elc Licensing software the Hub in cubase 12 and nuendo 12 will not receive Steinbergs internet Stream as the Elicenser must be installed to receive Steinbergs internet Stream we decided to release this license to enable you to use all Soft sel based libraries.

This license is only available from Steinberg for use in a Hardware Dongle for a limited time of 24 hours

As this license was not to be used in the soft sel it cannot be transfered to a Dongle.

but we have modifed the license so that it is interpreted as a multi license for the soft sel

This License will be able to run all soft instruments and libraries without problem.

1 Single replaces hundreds. Do not run this license alongside an elic dongle, as the pos will look at the soft sel first and throw an error.

This license is proposed as a complement for releases without a dongle.

1. eLicenserControlSetup6.12.8.3307.exe
2. execute Create Elic_Soft.exe as Administrator
3. Execute Multi.License.Edition.Elc.TC.TEAM.exe and install license .. Done

I would like to say a little outside the thread that we will not see many more releases from this team, or rather from XRX. They did it for friends and they shared. TC only makes small software with no relation to professional audio. They have a good relationship with other old crackers but there are no plans for any revival. There are other teams that release great things on a daily basis, they are serious and professional, they deserve all my respect.

Once you create the selicenser.sel file you can take it wherever you want. Find where it is located on mac and paste it.

VST Connect PRO does not seem to work with this license.

In the information it says that it will only work with licenses not linked to the dongle. VST Conn.Pro uses dongle.

Thanks for the explanation.

However, I have one more observation. More of my libraries show up when using the VR solution when compared to the TC team solution. You will notice that with the TC Team license, the Zaria, Rast-A, Transverse and more do not show up. While they show up with the VR solution. Any idea why?

I have not tried all the libraries, they are not few. This is very simple, if this license meets your needs use it, if not you can always go back to VR. To be honest, I don't use any. In the end we have the great luck of being able to choose. Greetings.

If I remember correctly for example RAST-A (MSYXTY-7) is a collaboration with Steinberg, so it could be a totally different license

Yes perhaps it is only with external licenses. For example: I just noticed that Sampletekk's "4Knob PopD" is not recognized.

So I suppose that the priority is for Stb. own branded libraries licences? I'm not enough savvy to conclude with certainty, but perhaps it's something like that...

ZARIAs are owned by Steinberg collaborator SonicAtoms and Rast-A is owned by MSIXTY.
The license covers products purely created by Steinberg, and not the collaborations of third parties.
It would be nice to make a list with all the collaboration libraries to see if XRX sees us, we don't lose anything by trying.

I've noticed a very strange file location loading inside the vst3 directory - it's different from Absolute5 when updating Padshop, Retrologue and Halion Sonic tools - they won't work. Solution, just delete the new tool folders and copy the old ones in their place.

When I lost my usb elicenser Steinberg gave me a 24 hour license from "Allproducts" or something like that. My surprise was that it effectively only works with products made entirely by Steinberg and not its partners, for example RND portico. Now we just have to wait to see if they can help us and if they can't, I'm still very grateful for what they offered.

Agree with you, yes I knew about this 'All Products license', but it expires very quickly...

Perhaps they will publish a correction? Whatever they do or not, I'm already very grateful to TC Team (and AiR) for this gift!

I am really thankful for the TC Team license. And I am trying to find out what's missing and help others.

Here is one strange behavior I saw. The libraries like Rast-A, Transverse, Zaria etc. do not appear in Halion 6/Halion Sonic 3. But all of these appear on Halion Sonic SE3 with the TC Team license. However there are several that appear in Halion 6/Halion Sonic 3; but do not appear in Halion Sonic SE3.

I don't have enough space to try all the expansions and instruments. I think there is a sister site right? maybe you could create a thread for people to comment on their experiences with this license.
So far everything I've tried has worked.

I tried more than 20 of those sound libraries and I can open them in sonic3 and SE3 without problem. I can't install all of them, I don't know what the problem will be but it's not related to the license.
Let everyone do tests and share experiences if they want, I will not do more tests.

Yes, I can open it in Halion 6. I also add that in SE3 I couldn't see TRIP but if you search for it manually you can load the sounds.
