As we have seen at present if you remove the Elc Licensing software the Hub in cubase 12 and nuendo 12 will not receive Steinbergs internet Stream as the Elicenser must be installed to receive Steinbergs internet Stream we decided to release this license to enable you to use all Soft sel based libraries.

This license is only available from Steinberg for use in a Hardware Dongle for a limited time of 24 hours

As this license was not to be used in the soft sel it cannot be transfered to a Dongle.

but we have modifed the license so that it is interpreted as a multi license for the soft sel

This License will be able to run all soft instruments and libraries without problem.

1 Single replaces hundreds. Do not run this license alongside an elic dongle, as the pos will look at the soft sel first and throw an error.

This license is proposed as a complement for releases without a dongle.

1. eLicenserControlSetup6.12.8.3307.exe
2. execute Create Elic_Soft.exe as Administrator
3. Execute Multi.License.Edition.Elc.TC.TEAM.exe and install license .. Done

The license that you mention "allproductSoftElicense" only works for instruments and not the sound libraries. I assure you that they gave it many turns. This is a good alternative to the VR license generator. I see it like this; it's here, whoever wants it should use it and whoever doesn't should pay no attention.

With Cubase 12 Emulator no license is needed for any library except for VST, that is still using eLC (Groove Agent 5, Halion 6,The Grand, 3, Wavelab Elements 11) ... Just tell them that info then, that they need to know.... Because you give me some strange vibes that i hate this, but it is untrue i am just curious...

At no time did I imply that you hate this, I simply try to give as short an answer as possible. But let me correct that curiosity out of respect, c12, N12 do not cover the hundreds of libraries and existing sound packs for halion, Retrolog, Padshp, etc... They made this custom license to cover all those needs for those who want to forego the VR option. Respect and peace.

I think in the end we are both talking about the same thing. This is to cover what the new licensing system doesn't cover, and it's no small feat. It is simply an alternative to the bulk VR license uploader. It is perfect to use with the new N12 or C12. Greetings, and sorry if what I write is not well understood, I use a translator and sometimes it is not effective.

This one is only for the plugins and libs that use soft eLC. So they coexist with R2R solution.

Yes, to be simple and clear: it is a great, excellent replacement for VR soft license generator b25.

So as it is said, this works only with the "full" plugins (mainly Halion 6, and Groove Agent 5, some libraries and some Elements apps), not with anything that requires a dongle or the new activation manager.

This situation is progressively changing: Stbrg will release more and more new versions that uses the new license system, so in the near future, we will not need elicenser, nor this release, nor the VR b25 anymore, only the R2R or TC Silk emulator!

What is cool: elicenser is not modified in any way. This soft license works like a legit one.

So if you wanna try this, you have first to uninstall the elicenser + VR b25, and reinstall official elicenser control center.

Not compatible with a dongle.

please help.
i have nuendo from steinberg (not r2r) and silk dll from r2r. (in steinberg common files)
all is activated and work fine.
i have downloaded all from steinberg (libraries, presets etc etc)
but...
HUB DOES NOT WORK
i have not installed download manager, elicenser and all related.

if install this... will i have another process in ram? (i do no want more process in ram like original 150Mb e-licenser)

i only want hub works correctly.
not need licenses, because r2r works fine for me.

Unfortunately the Hub is still somehow attached to the elicenser. Install the old elicenser and the Hub will work.

Any app from St. works perfectly without the hub.

Personnally I deactivated it because I don't care about ads or stupid announcements.

Everything (including models) can be loaded from the "File" menu.
