As we have seen at present if you remove the Elc Licensing software the Hub in cubase 12 and nuendo 12 will not receive Steinbergs internet Stream as the Elicenser must be installed to receive Steinbergs internet Stream we decided to release this license to enable you to use all Soft sel based libraries.

This license is only available from Steinberg for use in a Hardware Dongle for a limited time of 24 hours

As this license was not to be used in the soft sel it cannot be transfered to a Dongle.

but we have modifed the license so that it is interpreted as a multi license for the soft sel

This License will be able to run all soft instruments and libraries without problem.

1 Single replaces hundreds. Do not run this license alongside an elic dongle, as the pos will look at the soft sel first and throw an error.

This license is proposed as a complement for releases without a dongle.

if you already have a Elc soft sel just install .. Done.

To Install with no Soft Sel
1. eLicenserControlSetup6.12.8.3307.exe
2. execute Create Elic_Soft.exe as Administrator
3. Execute Multi.License.Edition.Elc.TC.TEAM.exe and install license .. Done

It looks like it will enable Steinberg news in the Cubase 12 and Nuendo 12 hub without having eLicenser software installed.

edit: also activates every license like V.R's generator?

If that is incorrect, can someone please explain to me in simple terms what this is needed for?

I haven't done any of the Steinberg installs yet, so this is a little confusing. 1) What's with the "24 hours" thing they talk about? 2) Can someone familiar with these Steinberg installs talk a little about the advantages/disadvantages of this installer compared to R2R and VR? It's like first there was a drought now there's a flood

If a convo about comparing the different releases is better held on Audiosex just say so, will take it over there instead. thanks.

One question... I see that lately almost all the support teams, which provide us with software for us to try, are generally all dedicated to the same ones, every time something new comes out.
My question is, are other programs not interesting, or are they difficult to break? For example, Neural Dsp plugins that came out a long time ago, don't you give them importance or is it not easy to work with them?
Not to be taken as a request, just curious.
Why, giant companies like Steinberg, must have greater security than other smaller companies, right? Apologies for the inconvenience, much respect, and thank you!
