I made a mirror of the 10.3.9 installer available as of now, you'll find it in the peeplink.

Be sure to watch the video and to read the readme.rtfd included.
(famous Apple's text format that stands for Read The Fucking Document)

This crack is finally working, the only downside is that you must use
the fade tool to create fades, if you use the menu item "Create Fades"
or the shortcut cmd+F it crashes, so don't try, btw the fade tool
is the easiest and fastest way to create fades in PT so you should use that anyway.

Fix Notes:
Many people faced problem with the previous patch+loader,
I made a mistake to share it on the wave of enthusiasm,
it was in a too early stage and not fully working.

Now we think this can be declared a final crack,
openssh spotted the pseudo-random iLok checks and circumvented the CRC checks,
it's now totally usable unlike the previous partial crack.
The new loader should be fool-proof. Just follow instructions.

Reversing and patch scripting by openssh.
Loader applet by copylefter.

i dont understand the bit slicer thing... what do we do with it? I mean, after i closed my session yesterday, its still just sitting there on the dock... can i drag to trash?

I confirm its working everything cool, on 10.8.5 hackintosh
the instructions are so simple, just follow them and remember to always load pro tools from the loader until the solution is found
waves,sound toys plugins all load fine, resizing regions,busing is working perfect unlike some guys complaints

There's no way except full emulation (not at my level for sure, and time consuming, 4000manhour to crack syncrosoft)
than this, as the code has to be patched after its loaded into memory.
No don't update Bit Slicer, the script won't work.

Even though I'm a PC user, I have been following the PT 10.3.9 saga from the beginning. I have to give you utmost respect for all of the help you are providing here. You have much more patience than I would ever have. I hope everyone here understands this and is grateful for what you have provided.

P.S. Please do not provide a crack for Pro Tools 11 as I would hate to have to eat my words and return to Pro Tools as well as reconfigure a Hackintosh dual boot.

Had a look at it and it's a total pita.
A legit ilok with license is needed to dump decrypted _TEXT_section,
as in the framework it is crypted. Then you would have to rebuild
the whole binary with the decrypted code (probably impossible due to CRC checks).
And that's just the start...I think I'll go back to making music, way better!

Yeah...PT11 is a beast to defeat! That's just fine though, I really don't want to be tempted back to Avid. There is life (an easier life) beyond Pro Tools.

BTW after testing deeply this PT10 I'm switching to it
(just for mixing, I produce in Ableton),
as on my machine it's much more efficient than LPX.
Much more tracks and plugs before running out of power.

the CRC checks only work after the decryption...it's possible to dump the decrypted _text segment but... pace 7.0 use a memory bundle aka "CantTutThis" which have a build in mach exception debugger. also the _bss section is hidden after the decryption. this section have to be rebuilded by hand.

better look for some function interposing for PT10 with that i got cmd-f, old sessions working and don't need any loader, scripts or bit slicer. i do the vm read/writes with c. good library functions that can be used for this are in DFW.framework cause there is all the event driven carbon code for mouse and menus functions.

PT 11 will be a lot more challenging to defeat, but here's hoping! You folks should really be running PT 10.3.9 on OSX 10.8.5 since Avid doesn't support Maverick for PT 10 anyway! Very nice work openssh and copylefter!

Succesfully installed on MacBook Pro mid 2010 osx 10.9.3 and working after chmod pro tools loader.

(go to application/avid, ctrl click on the pro tools folder and choose new terminal in folder. in the terminal chmod a=rwx Pro Tools Loader)
(I needed to rename Pro Tools Loader in ProToolsLoader, and after chmod, rename to Pro Tools Loader again)

BTW you can drag PT loader into terminal window to get the correct path,
no need to rename it.
Others please use batchmod or permission reset
if you're not familiar with terminal, it's the same.

Hey guys I compiled the new bit Slicer 1.7 without the memory protection. This feature was introduced in the bit slicer 1.7 alpha 19, and for this reason the PT Manual patch did not work with this version and newer.

I replace PT.app with the K'ed one from copylefter. I batchmod it and the slicer file from copylefter. I launch. PT icon hops in the dock but PT won't open. Just looks at me while hopping like I'm an idiot (which I am.) What did I do wrong?
