[obsolete] Updated Mirrors Policy
Hello everybody and welcome back to me, because I've been on 5 days vocation...
Unfortunately, I see straight away that some things got out of control while i was away, like this "Password in 24 hours" thing.
To keep it short: Strong Sound did that because he wanted to share more exclusive stuff and he didn't want other people to leech it and spread his releases on other sites or in comments/mirrors.
so, it's actually not a bad thing, which he was forced to come to, because i wasn't able to handle the mirrors problem properly.
And now I'd like to announce my decision regarding the Mirrors poll:
As usual, I wanted to make everybody happy, so i decided to provide contributors with an option to disable mirrors module in their posts.
This way, Contributors who spent money to buy and share exclusive stuff (like DISCOVER), will be able to disable mirrors in their posts;
Option will be also used by those Contributors, who want to reupload their links by themselves.
Those Contributors who don't want to reupload their posts, will leave the Mirrors option untouched, so members+ will still be able to post mirrors.
As result, we all get what we wanted.
P.S. Contributors will receive a letter with updates and instructions.

I'm surprised so many members, and even residents gone straight to comment crap, instead of reading the article completely and understand what's actually happening.
to prevent the "broken telephone" thing, I'm explaining the change in detail and replying some comments.
How about the poll?
It is exactly because of your votes I do not disable mirrors for all contributors. people who say "you don't count our opinion" are full of shit;
- When you saying that, it seems that you're not even using this site, just coming here to drop a load of crap in comments and spread your hate.
1. Mirrors on AudioZ are needed because original links might die;
2. If Contributors will keep their links alive, there is no need for Mirrors;
3. Since we give the option to disable mirrors to some contributors, they are taking the responsibility to reupload their links to mirrors that you choose.
- now, out of interest, go read comments from rico88 (1st page) just to see how reckless people can get.
the situation is very straightforward: either I do something about mirrors, or contributors will stop posting those exclusive releases at all.
...AudioZ stays on top for all this time exactly because we can adapt to changes and move forward.

- No you don't! Once I make the changes, every contributor who disables mirrors will be forced to upload to certain "most popular" servers which you will choose later, so that even free users could download.
...and those mirrors will stay fresh forever.

to everybody else who haven't noticed, AudioZ became much more than just a software archive.
I see Future AudioZ as a platform for sharing your own releases. And that's where I'm heading.
