My only request - and I imagine many will agree - is that the new hoster be available in one of the multi-hosters like real-debrid and the like.
And maybe a good few months heads up to be able to change the multi-hoster if necessary without losing too much on the unused subscription time (i.e. if Audioz was go to with nitroflare, many - me included - would have to stop their subscription to Real-Debrid)

I had been taking 6 months subs but as I understand it, 3 months would be safer then (despite the better rate).

In fact...does anybody know a multi-hoster that has nitroflare?

So now nitroflare is the top contender to eventually replace Katfile.Nitroflare is not even on Linksnappy ,so does that mean Linksnappy is being dropped as supported site.That would be a mistake because Linksnappy is the one debrid service that works all the time without fail.Also for those that only use free dl,nitroflare sucks,just saying.

Watching the evolution of this thread is encouraging to this new member of the community. I'm not attached to KAT but I do appreciate that we need more than just the (great) Rapidgator. What I most appreciated about this thread was seeing 'management' announce a potentially significant policy shift and then adjust to the community's feedback. You don't see that very often these days and it was refreshing watching it happen here.

Away from AudioZ my experience with MediaFire as a free user has been better than any other service. I've downloaded hundreds of files at 1-5 MBps and multiple files at one time, again on a free account without using any Debrid service. I don't know how it would work over here, but it seems MediaFire should be in contention for being one of the mirrors.

(With a Debrid service Rapidgator links have been solid, acceptably fast, parallel downloading 12+ RG links at the same time, with no daily bandwidth limit. And some of those RG links are well over 10 years old. For less than $5/mo I can't imagine not using a Debrid service.)

I do not often post on here or the sister site because my views are generally not liked, or some feel that they have the right to argue (when they have none) but for what its worth.....

The problem that I see over & over is that people EXPECT to get everything for free at fast speeds and expect that to be on demand 24/7. The fact is that this costs someone money.

The warez is free, sometimes you are getting hundreds of dollars worth, and in some cases, thousands of dollars worth of software and associated files and if you have to go to a little trouble to get them then be happy that you have the chance to start with. NO ONE is entitled to get anything on this site or others so be happy and show gratitude and respect to those involved who's work allows us to try the software out.

This is not aimed at any one person but I am speaking in general terms.

I use MediaFire & Mega.nz all of the time and have done so for years without any problems what so ever. I use a certain debrid (paid for option) that, given what we are all gifted with, equates to no money really.

As far as KF is concerned, I have not experienced any issues with that service since AZ started using it and as long as that continues to be the case then they seem to be as good as MediaFire and Mega.

Hi, after all a fair decision. I think it was good having that discussion to see the pro & cons from the wider community.

Never the less, I understand both sides the ULs and the DLs - Both should be somehow happy. For sure this "business" has it's hurdles.
If there'll will be similar issues in the future again, I'd love to see a discussion like these and a fair and comprehensible decision as well.

Please consider not using Nitroflare if you can. It's blocked at ISP level here and they also block VPNs, so it is impossible to download from there without a premium.

After reading the last update, I think it's the right decision.

At the moment (and I emphasize "at the moment"...), even reading the comments of others, it seems to me that KAT works well in terms of reliability and NF is not much better. Paradoxically the fact that KAT it is not widely used globally helps (see the problems with RG that sometimes multi-hoster have). So at the moment it seems to me it represent the best alternative to the most common (and therefore most used...) RG.
Also switching to NF now would have led to a problem with the recommended Linksnappy multi-hoster which does not currently support it, thus creating a problem.

We will see how things will go. As rightly mentioned, there are no certainties and obviously I agree that if there were problems in the future it would be necessary to intervene by making a replacement.
On the other hand, the important thing is to continue to have reliable and functioning hosts for both uploaders and community members. These can also be changed if necessary. It also happened to me with UL's departure to lose many months of subscription, but I didn't make a drama out of it, patience can happen, nothing is certain.

NitroFlare does not work for me, I have to use a vpn to get to NitroFlare, NitroFlare then says to turn off vpn to allow downloads.

Katfile works well if you have paid for it. Not so much if you have not.

I TOTALLY agree with SAINT's comment that nothing lasts forever so do not buy an annual subscription on any of them. It's not that they will not be around, it is simply unless you have a magic crystal ball that can see exactly what will happen in 12 months time, the Internet system is up one day, down the next. At any given time, a provider can decide they have had enough and loyalties this century are almost non-existent unless people get exactly what they want.

3 months is often not too expensive and no great loss if the site closes. Only my opinion.

Torrents and Magnets? - As said above all too many times.

If you obtain a debrid account, you can kill two birds with one stone; audio apps and movies. Of course, the debrid account you choose needs to have the file hosting accounts used here as part of its plan. I used Real Debrid and only had issues with a couple of file hosting services. However, the file hosts primarily in use here at AZ work great with Real Debrid.

Cost of Real Debrid per year: approximately $30.

katfile is by far the most fastest IMHO - nitroflare takes days to dl, so please don´t replace katfile, thanks.

I always use RG, but when links are down, KF worked well. :)

the debrid service I use, works well with katfiles and rapidgator, but does not support nitroflare, so as long as rapidgator stays around when katfiles go, I'm fine.
I can't think on a actual alternative, many already said some of that was in my mind but I have to agree with SAiNT:

most of the alternatives that you mentioned are either new, have bad reputation, don't work somewhere or for someone.
