After install, when I click anywhere on peeplink on audio z, I get a small popup in the right hand lower corner, a mini browser with blank as its title. Only on peeplink.
After uninstalling winrar, and then clicking a peeplink file, no popup, so I assume there is something odd going on here. I use chrome as a default browser.

Not sure if i can trust this. No matter where i download this from it gets blocked as malicious virus. Firefox here. Those of you saying there is zero chance that this contains a virus mainly because it was uploaded by an admin of this site, doesnt mean anything and is beyond naive. Just saying. Im not into practicing blind faith. I will pass on this. When i cant even download it then something is suspicious. Never had this before with any R2R keygen. This might not be a false flag but an actual virus. BEWARE.

If i should be wrong, please enlighten me and prove me wrong. This seems to be infected with something, otherwise it would not get blocked as malicious virus by firefox. Never happened to me before with anything, only with Winrar releases. Why is that?

You don't download enough shit. Firefox is always blocking files/sites as malicious viruses that actually aren't. All it takes for them to block something are a couple of reports by the author/company and his pals. Do you really think they're going to go to the trouble of analysing the code of a keygen to ascertain whether it's legit or not? Of course they don't -- they play safe and ban all piracy as malware.

Edit: So I've just downloaded and tested it. The app is the one produced by WinRar. The keygen is the same one that millions of people have been using since WinRar 5.01 came out in 2013.

But by all means, don't download it if you're worried. I don't care one way or the other.

yeah 7z has the highest compression ratio, and the same aes encryption winrar and winzip have. The only reason why I also have winrar is because sometimes some rar files will give errors with 7zip for some reason. It doesn't happen often though.

I know someone might argue that nowdays storage drive space is cheap, but if you are already compressing, why not use the superior (and free-open source) solution?

i have always used peazip. but a few days ago i ran across an archive that it couldn't handle. it kept telling me that it needed a password, but the file was not password protected. i downloaded the free demo of winrar, and it had no problem at all opening the archive. that was the first time that peazip ever let me down.

I have quick.zip, max comp Rar5, and passworded profiles...
I have to see where those are and back them up.
[Edit: Settings are in the registry. I exported the "profiles" key. Then I exported the whole thing and edited it , removing just the "Paths" section to avoid any "user" name problem]
