I have a method to install the new Omnisphere updates, this method needs the keygen provided by R2R, so Omnisphere changed its activation method, The new updates do not show the id of your machine and this causes that the keygen cannot be used, so my method is the following.

1.- Before installing the update, manually copy some of the files from the old folders according to your operating system or plugin version that you are going to use.

2.- Start your Daw and obtain your Machine ID, I recommend that you keep this ID for future updates and do not have to perform these steps again

3.- Once you have your ID, close your DAW and install the new updates and proceed to patch and generate the code for the plugins as before.

That's it I did the test for MAC and Windows and it works fine.

I didn't use the Old files folder but here is what I did:
Installed over v2.6.3, patched it using the R2R keygen, entered the response code generated by the same keygen, crashed for like 3 times, after that it worked like a charm, thank you so much @Psyevil.

Paste the challenge code on the top empty box and click decode.
A decoded URL will be generated .
Copy only the characters that are after the "=" symbol and paste it in the R2R keygen.
click generate on keygen and a response code will be generated.
It is expected that your DAW will crash up to 3 times.
Done.

I'm on MacBook Air M1.

This what I've done:
-I replace with the old Omnisphere.components
-copy the machine id
-install the 2.7.0 update
-open keygen, and patched the installed components
-restart the laptop
-open daw, and open Omnisphere, and magically open without put the challenge code
-but the Omnisphere show that x86

it works on Ableton 10.3.5, but failed logic 10.6.2

am I missing something?

I hope it solved the issue of crashing. I have a m.2 NVME drive and in original Omnisphere instructions it sais to put steam on separate drive, never have I experienced slowness since maybe using a HDD. It kept crashing. Nothing could fix, I had to uninstall today.

Hopefully this fixes the issue. I'm putting the steam folder where it's meant to be cause it didnt lag before. Hopefully 2.7 addresses crashes.

My Instruction on M1 Macbook pro 13 or MAC

1. Install software & patch library update from installer

2. Copy Omnisphere mac plugins to windows.

3. on windows Patch Mac plugins using R2R 2015 keygen.

4. after that I copied patched vst, vst3, component files back to mac plugin folder

5. Put these three commands one by one on terminal
sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Omnisphere.component
sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/Omnisphere.vst
sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/Omnisphere.vst3

6.1. Run Omnisphere, click on the blue 'click here' at the bottom of the Authorization screen
- this will copy an Authorization url to the clipboard which contains the encoded Challenge Code

6.2. Run the 'Omnisphere 2.6.4c Challenge Code Decoder'
- it will read that url from the clipboard, decode it and copy it back to the clipboard

6.3. Run R2R's Keygen, paste the Challenge Code and generate your Response Code

Hi, I've also done your step, but Omnisphere keep crashing when validating on Logic Pro x 10.6.3

what version Logic Pro you use?

standalone works fine, and yes, it says "arm"
Ableton works fine, it says x86

UPDATE:
When I opened Omnisphere standalone, as I mention above, it says "arm", I quit standalone apps. And then open Logic Pro x again, validate only Omnisphere, it says successful, MAGIC! (because, earlier, it crashed!!). I quit logic, and open again, and it works fine, wow, strange enough, but works!!!!

Here's how I did on macOS Big Sur without having to switch back and forth between macOS and Windows.

BTW: writing these Instructions SHOULD BE THE UPLOADERS RESPONSIBILITY, NOT OURS!!!

Instructions for macOS. Tested on BigSur with Maschine and Logic Pro X 10.6.3

Requirements: macOS based Computer, Crossover 20.0.4, BatchMod, R2R Keygen for PC

• Install Omnisphere Software & Patch Library Updates
• Copy R2R Keygen to Desktop (for ease of us)
• Move Omnisphere.component, .vst and .vst3 plugins to Desktop.
• Start Crossover
• Select Bottle and "Run Command…" (Existing Windows Bottle required)
• Browse to KeyGen located on Desktop and run it
• Click on "Patch…"
• Browse to File: Omnisphere.component > Contents > MacOS > Omnisphere and hit "Open"
• If it says "Successfully patched!" continue with .vst and .vst3 Plugins. If you get an "File is write protected" error: Run BatchMod on the 3 plugins and enable "write" for the Group: "Wheel" and then continue patching the other plugins too!
• Once patched, move tthe component, vst and vst3 back to their rescpective folders
• Run Codesign Fixes:
sudo codesign –force –deep –sign - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Omnisphere.component
sudo codesign –force –deep –sign - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/Omnisphere.vst
sudo codesign –force –deep –sign - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/Omnisphere.vst3
• Run Omnisphere, click on the blue ‘Click here’ Text at the bottom of the Authorization screen. This will copy the authorization URL to the clipboard which contains the encoded Challenge Code
• Go to https://www.urldecoder.org/, paste the link in the "Decode from URL-encoded format" Box and click "Decode" (UTF-8 Fromat)
• From the decoded URL in the box below, copy the Text after "…vers=2.7.0f&ch="
• Paste it in the Challende Code section of the KeyGen and hit "Generate"
• Copy the Response Code to the Clipboard and Paste it in the Omnisphere Registration Dialog Box.
• Restart your Plugin Host and reload the Plugin.
• Done!

Kinda strange though... Had to do the sudo codesign commands several times before it replaced the existing signature. Didn't had to do the Authorization thing.. Working now in Maschine, LPX & Standalone on Catalina

You probably didn't have to re-authorize the plugin because you already had a working install prior to updating. I did a fresh install since I didn't have it installed under Big Sur. Omnisphere is probably the most PITA plugin to install in the whole scene, so I am always hesitant to instal it.
