I have a method to install the new Omnisphere updates, this method needs the keygen provided by R2R, so Omnisphere changed its activation method, The new updates do not show the id of your machine and this causes that the keygen cannot be used, so my method is the following.

1.- Before installing the update, manually copy some of the files from the old folders according to your operating system or plugin version that you are going to use.

2.- Start your Daw and obtain your Machine ID, I recommend that you keep this ID for future updates and do not have to perform these steps again

3.- Once you have your ID, close your DAW and install the new updates and proceed to patch and generate the code for the plugins as before.

That's it I did the test for MAC and Windows and it works fine.

It seems to work fine in my environment, and the DAW projects I've created in the past aren't broken.
It's annoying because there is too little confirmed information here.
It's as easy as saving a backup before updating.
It's a used word, but I can only use it at my own risk. For me, it's enough to have the opportunity to use it.

Still time bombs, takes 40 mins or so, make a good few instances all running midi in your daw, come back after playing in a 40 min loop, duplicate the first instance and it will time bomb (blank patch)

Thanks for the report. Same behaviour then as everything from 2.6.4 onwards, as expected. At least someone knows how to actually check this out, rather than just register and report "It works!!"

Stick on 2.6.3 until a new patch/K occurs that fixes this timebomb, is my suggestion - and is what I'm doing.

the later instances will still duplicate fine, the earlier ones will be time bombed so its a measurable and repeatable time bomb,

For me, the same problem as with the previous version, ie after a relatively short time, when I create a multi, it does not register!
I have no more reason to live if the omnisphere does not want me, I just have to join the atmosphere ! _*_

Try doing the *actual* test that shows the timebomb problem, rather than blaming everyone else for not doing the simple and obvious things we've already been doing for years.

BTW the timebomb situation has nothing to do with connecting to the net or not.

not mate, thats not what we are saying by timebomb, to clarify, if you have it on for 30-40 mins or there about then duplicate that channel in your daw, the duplicated channel will not have the patch in it. or if you saved that project at the same point the patch will not be there when you re open. if your not having projects open for ore than half hour and working heavily on omnisphere, duplicating channel's for the midi for example this is less likely to occur, but it will happen and you will lose work. solution - roll back to 2.6.3c this looks like it does not time bomb.

Thanks for taking on the Pirate burden, Psyevil! Seems to work ok? (I regd it when it dropped.)

Just to explain. I used the old kg (to patch files) and the new keygen (to license) also used r4e's decoder. I can save fine (just did it) - try refreshing browser, they'll show up? And I haven't noticed any timebombs w/ 2.70? I don't use Omnisphere much anymore. I just dl everything from the usual places as per.

Anyway, problems might be that you need to patch at least 2 files (2x dll) (2x vst3) etc in C:\ - and wherever you installed Omni, otherwise. Not a good idea to do that (install on another drive) cos it will load slowly if it's not on C:\ ; depending on which v of Omnisphere. Also time of day. Possibly whether you sent emails to Eric "Cartman" Persing, calling him fat?

Anyway, it's worth searching for all the omni*.dll and omni*.vst3 files and patch them all. Hopefully we'll get an official release, cos I forget how to reg Keyscape et al!!

We can use it but for everything related to a backup ?!
I patched all AU, VST and VST3 files.
But still after a certain time between half an hour and an hour if you create a multi, it is not recorded.
It is possible that there are other problems that I have not yet detected such as saving patches when creating a song that seems to have happened to others but has happened to me before ...

Simple and yet effective installation... Better than previous one with 2.6.4 probably because it needs individual patching on every single pc... Thanks for this clever workaround :)
And the best thing i like about it is that is official installer not repacked from some untrustful source, besides R2R and r4e I don't believe no one with this matter :)

It would be nice if someone provide Trilian and Keyscape original installation files

On High Sierra here, when using R2R keygen to generate response to the challenge, it doesn't accept the code. But using the same keygen to patch the file works for AU but VST and VST3 fails

Any work around for VST and VST3?

If it fails it means that the file is either write protected, meaning that you need to use Batchmod on them, or that the files are already patched.

When creating your own presets, after some time when you duplicate a track, the original preset track turns out to be empty. I do not recommend this version for installation.

You're right ... Is it worth lowering the versions of the libraries to the later ones? And by the way, this happens separately with Trilian, although Keyscape seems to work fine.
