Not calling you a liar, but,
Can you please make a screenshot of your bigwig running with a few tracks, with the 'about' popup window on screen, with a tiny audioz page open , with this thread (otherwise you could just grab a random screenshot from internet)

Otherwise, 'work fine'.....

Bigwig is entirely coded in java. While everybody knows c, c++, java it's a different beast.
No wonder why nobody can crack it.
That's why any 'works fine' will be highly suspicious.

Anyone can grab a package, change some code here and there, repack it (with a nice little trojan), and release it on rutracker.

It's not that Java is an exotic language.
From what I remember it's rather the many places and many modules that do license checks which makes it much less attractive to "work on".

I am a legitimate Bitwig user, and I think he writes the license every X save. I know because I see that the license file "License-5" is modified throughout the days and if it does not match, Time Boom jumps, in this case I think they are beeps.

This application is worth paying. I recommend it to you.

You know, owning Ableton Suite 9, I have to think twice about if and how to upgrade. For one, I'm quite satisfied with Live Suite and all the cool free Max4Live devices but on the other hand, purchasing the full Bitwig is not much more expensive than upgrading Suite 9 to Suite 10 (!).
Bitwig already challenged me with the new modular synth but now that we have the insanely powerful VCV Rack, even if it's only a standalone app, VCV more than covers that.
Which would be your main reasons to switch from Ableton to Bitwig?

I have been an Ableton user and I have changed for the following reasons:

- Bounce and Bounce in Place
- Hybrid Tracks
- Scalable vector based GUI
- Tracks, Chains, and Devices can be deactivated to save CPU power
- Plug-in Delay Compensation
 
And most importantly the modulation capabilities it has.

M4L is a heavy consumer CPU and I don't see devices useful for Audio, they are also an addition to Ableton and it doesn't have it integrated.

Bitwig consumes less resources and is more stable as soon as a VST fails because it uses sandboxing.

Try the demo on the WEB and you will understand everything I am writing to you.

I only like bitwig just because it allows apple aac. I have a sample-based workflow and most of my music library is encoded to said format.
I wish Ableton could get the damn license for windows...

Bitwig is way nicer and friendlier to use but, since Live got the sidechain feature for 3rd party plugins, Bitwig became pretty much a pointless option

Works fine here as well, Did you follow the instructions and offline reg it with the file provided?

The only thing I installed extra was the essentials pack . As I remember from the last cracked version of Bitwig something in the download packs triggered the beeping noise.

Has anyone Downloaded all the packs and run the program for a few hours?
I used the vanilla version for about 3 hours last night NO BEEPING, Scared to add more until I hear something.

The Offline Activation is written in very small letters at the bottom of the screen when it first asks. Hit that then import the registration file that's included in the rar

It was working fine, but later audio got ring modulated + out of tune wobbling, so it's not cracked - there is some point of protection that triggers after certain amount of time has passed. No installed packs or online connection. Restarting the program removed the noise, but at this point this is just a demo version.
The biggest problem with this app. is the greedy update model. It is probably worth buying for someone heavy into MPE and modulars/sound design, but wouldn't even consider it for more basic studio work (mixing, midi, audio editing, mastering) - there are just better choices for this type of work.

I'm Legit and I grabbed this for My laptop. Works 100% Coppied the content off my other machine and Bingo!! Thanks a bunch. I'm a Bitwig power user and I can Assure you this works perfectly.

Thanks for the release! However, I'm on win10 and when i drop the activation file
it says "We've updated the format of the Bitwig Studio activation file. Please log in
again to update your Activation file", weird.

What happens if you browse to the activation file as opposed to dropping it?

I did the latter and it worked fine

You forgot to copy over the bitwig.jar file to C:\Program Files\Bitwig Studio\bin\
