I don't want to spoil the party, but I find that there are no substantial novelties in this new release.
Spectral Recovery (aimed mostly at lossy encoded files) is extremely slow rendering (the same thing being with 'preview computing'), with a 'short-sighted' preview and useless graphics. I found it a waste of time. Thimeo Stereo Tool and Acon Revitalize are much faster, simpler to use and give superior results in harmonic synthesizing.
De-hum learned results might be odd at times (at first trial it found hum at 209 Hz). Frequency preset tick boxes in previous version, now omitted, offered a better workflow.
Guitar De-noise works well, but has a limited scope (acoustic guitar). Amp noise (buzz, to be honest) is better removed by manual spectral editing. Still, it is one of the very rare new functions that, in my opinion, can make one decide to switch from v.7.0.0 to v.8.0.0.
All in all, it's the same old engines used in some new packages, only a few worth attention. Personally, I deleted it and will stick to v.7.0.0.

I only wait to test Wow & Flutter module, that make easy process than Celemony Capstan which is buggy in mine opinion. So that can be bigger step for us who doing some transfers from analog mediums. Spectral Recovery is probably not good as Acon Vitalizer and Stereo Tool, but is ok to have another tool that do same job, I always have some samples thah work with one but not good with another tool

I really appreciate Thimeo Stereo Tool, but I'm not sure I've found yet the best workflow to get the most out of it.

Would you like to share some suggestions about the method you recommend and, among all the modules, tell us which ones you find most useful? I am looking for maximum clarity and musicality like many people here.

Hi all, I found that the presets are missing from the document's folder, but I found them in the program's folder, problem is that even copying and pasting them in the documents folder doesn't seem to make it work. Does anybody have a solution? Thanks
