REPACK : Installer rebuilt. FAW has "installdir" in the registry but not
really used by app. The path to the license is hardcoded to

C:\Program Files\FAW\SubLab\

Setting and authorization are also saved to this folder. This is quite bad
design in 2019 because DAW is not always running with admin rights and
file writing to ProgramFiles is limited since XP SP2. It's hard to believe
this product is released just 5 months ago.

The old keygen that's packaged with R2R's last release of Circle 2 no longer works but this keygen also includes a gen for Circle2 that will get it running with no problem.

Oh, it also works with the current version downloadable from FAW's website as well.

I Totally agree with you Horsemen! Many, like myself, have not invested any large sums on the OS disk C: My cache disk for Ableton that I run empty is twice the size of the system disk. So any Plugins in C: \ Program Files are a NONO sadly. I had actually thought to buy this plugin but they may leave the Stone Age first before a buy ..

Before that, one can hope that one of many geniuses here comes up with an idea of how to control the installation away from C:

Try SymLink (symbolic link) to another folder!
I'll had this with the VST3 folder. It links from "C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3" to "D:\Plugins\VST3".

Loopmasters bass master, serum (standalone music 800M preset), output substance to name a few but saying this sucks is a matter of opinion. Only the user can judge for themselves.

Output Substance and Signal makes a great product for bass and sub... Omnisphere and any other synth engine with mods, LFO's, oscillators, etc... quite easy to make sub and basss sounds. Add some distortion, analog noise noise, drive or bring out the harmonics to taste - eq the hell out of it between 50hz and 800hz to taste... also use some compression to tame it and bring more harmonics out of it... add some delay to make it fatter and then add some character to it... i.e wobble, modulation, etc...

Guys,808 are just a sine wave or a triangle wave on the lower octave with much distortion...You don't need any specific plugin to do that.
Any analog synth will achieve that.

With software you can do a lot just look up some tutorials how to tweak your sub sounds to what you like, creating a awesome sub is science and takes alot of time to master.You will never found it in any factory preset.its up to you.

Exactly. It's an art on its own to have your kicks and 808 play nice and not phase each other out.

I love the idea of this plugin, but the x-sub seems to interfere with everything else going on. there's no consistency in your sound once you turn it on. try running it through a decent distortion plug and just listen. you'll see what I mean.
If you're able to correct me, then you understood me fine in the first place. prick.

Not sure if this has already been covered but I'm having problems loading sounds into Maschine after successful install.. Just gives error saying "Error - Sublab could not be loaded".
Did a couple searches and found others have solved by reinstalling Kontakt/Reaktor but I've done that and issue persists....any ideas?
