I was just thinking about this. Thank you R2R .

The plugin itself is working fine but, the presets and samples folders seem to have installed to the wrong location. They are in Documents>FAW>SubLab when they should be in Program Files>FAW>SubLab.

Even when I copied them over, the presets load fine but the samples for each of them are missing...

Okay, I've got it working perfectly now.

What I did was:

1. Uninstall (I did with Revo Uninstaller Pro)
2. Install, but change the install location to Program Files>FAW>SubLab. If you don't have this folder, then create it.
For some reason (probably a mistake) it defaults to Documents>FAW>SubLab.
Make sure it's not Program Files>FAW>SubLab>SubLab.

3. Place key file in Program Files>FAW>SubLab.

Now everything works including the samples.
Import expansions is working fine also!

It works but after restart it doesn't remember settings like vst size etc.
I can't install extensions either
in my opinion this edition is NUKED
  Resident 30.03.2018 68 664

  Resident 30.03.2018 68 664
For Windows it's:
C:\Program Files\FAW\SubLab
  Member 3.05.2014 33
appreciate the help Majestic: in windows the default directory is documents\faw\sublab. did put the file as advised but still getting the activation prompt on start up..
  Member 7.08.2017 19
create your own directory as Majestic said and place license there
  Member 3.05.2014 33
thanks NODOZe and Majestic much appreciated. Working now!
  Member 14.09.2019 10
My thanks to NODOZe and Majestic as well, as I was stumped on this until reading NODOZe's post.

In addition, I'll add one piece of advice for WINDOWS users after reading Majestic's original post...

Just install the program directly into C:\Program Files\FAW\SubLab . It seems like it works best there without any effort. The presets will work right away. I don't know enough about the VST to know if it's fully working, but it seems like it is with it installed there.

The file generated by the keygen also should be placed in this same folder.

Spacial thanks for to continue working on macos versions, I was afraid I'd have to go back to the win and
and I will never finish the album for the sake of win updates and limited numbers of ddl-s
  Member 28.06.2017 42
oh then you have to be an amazing music producer even better than Hans Zimmer with it's Win machine!
  Member 30.03.2014 440
Have your DAW offline, then you dont have to worry about windows updates!
  Member 10.04.2017 125
Never had an issue with Windows or updates, don't mislead other with your comments.

P.S.: Have fun with Catalina.
  Member 6.07.2019 66
