one of the best! love it's envelop feature. also it sounds really good if you send -20db or so into this one to get more subtle distortion sounds...

Don't forget to toggle the 'HQ' button at the top right of the GUI, 'Mode' at the bottom left, and feedback (FBK slot screw) above the tube cage; they make a meaningful difference .
Make no mistake, this isn't a "saturation" plugin, it's a true distortion beast .

eXACT, a little off topic, but do you still use the RX950? If so, how, and how often? I love it on drums, i.e., kick and snare, usually after some slight tape saturation to "round out" the sound, courtesy of Overloud's Tapedesk (my favorite tape plugin).

I've tested this plugin out and it actually sounds great. Tested it on the drum bus as well as a few synths and it really makes a difference. More presence, stronger attack, sound is a bit fuller.....give it a try you won't regret it
