Hi Luca, this is actually my first post on AudioZ but I've been lurking for well over 3 years and have been meaning to sign up properly for a long while. You've inspired me to do so today because I've read every comment you've ever posted here and I think you deserve the utmost respect for your patience and understanding.

I'm sure you realise that AudioZ aren't responsible for creating this release, it was created by others and AudioZ have simply shared it (so it was "out there" already) But as a software developer myself I totally understand the frustration of seeing your hard work turn up on sites like these.

In addition to my respect, you'll also have my money soon because I love the plugin and it's a perfectly reasonable price as far as I'm concerned. I do my best to support the small / one-man dev shops because I'm in the same boat my friend.

The other thing I wanted to say to you is this: I wasn't aware of Audiority until the first version of "The Abuser" was released here on AudioZ. If it weren't for AudioZ, I'm sure I still wouldn't be aware of Audiority. So please understand that I wouldn't be buying this from you legitimately if it hadn't been posted here first because I simply wouldn't know it existed!

Things round here really are a bit different to what you might expect from a common "warez" site. It's a very decent community and most members are not just free-loaders, they're poor musicians who want to expand their art but simply can't afford the latest multi-thousand-dollar DAWs/plugins etc. from the likes of AVID and NI. Most members would love to be able to pay for their software (and ultimately do when they go pro or get the financial opportunity). I'm not suggesting this applies in your case because "The Abuser" is very reasonably priced, but the community here is one of the best and I promise you that my purchase will be one of many that directly result from this exposure. I can assure you that nobody here wants to hurt small and innovative developers like you. We want you to do well and continue producing quality audio products for us.

Anyway, this post is already getting far too big so let me just say thank you for listening and please accept my humble respect for your decency in what I know (from experience) is a very frustrating scenario.

Hey luca, I was the one that was upset to see your release come out so early the first time around. That is the time that matters the most because once a release is out, keeping it updated is seen as maintenance by the teams and they generally do so as soon as new versions come out from what I've observed. I actually got into quite into a few pages of a debate over this topic because being a developer myself I realize that it's quick to release a copy but slow to develop one. I really do hope that AudioZ will drive some business your way and it's not uncommon. I speak to people privately daily and I know how many of us really are supporting the developers. If it were up to me there would be more of a delay because I can imagine that it must really be demoralizing when you worked hard on something and it feels like your time and effort is being devalued. I hope our members can understand that. Anyway thanks for for always being a class act. Respect!
