    I'm going to have to agree with you there luca. I think some releases are coming out way too early and I say that in spite of the fact that I enjoy things coming out early. The poster however doesn't control this and neither do any of us. If a team has decided to put it out then even if we didn't post it here someone somewhere would eventually because it's been released to the world already.

    It makes me sad most of all because it doesn't have to be this way. If some slight adjustments were made it could be a win-win for everyone. Developers could get some time (usually during sales periods) to snag those early orders and when a little time has passed we can get a little joy. Developers make the most sales during these introductory periods and early releases are detrimental to their bottom line. All that's required to make a difference is for all teams to come to an agreement on grace period. The scene does an amazing job but it needs to do better.

    Hey Luca, I'm with you, and a LOT of us are here. and a LOT of us here DO DO the right thing and if we like it, buy it. Wish you best of luck with your development, and will send some love your way... No one HERE is trying to screw small devs like yourself, and not sure if you were aware of it, but it cause a HUGE stink a short while ago, where there was a strike, and NOTHING was released. I understand the gray area here, and I respect the long hours and thought you put into your product... Thanks for your post.

    I do think there are a good number of folks on whatever scenes that do end up buying some of this, but there are probably a greater number that don't. That said, I think that most of that 2nd group would not buy even if there was no scene at all. They are more in the hobbyist group. I'm hoping that anyone who records for a living will buy and I can see that there are lots of plugs introduced here that many of us wouldn't even know about otherwise. In other words, I think that small companies like this do generate some sales through sites like Audioz and regardless of the number of downloads, probably only actually loose a fairly small part of that number for the reasons I stated above.

    I must say that i totaly disagree with the one that say that ''it goes out to early''

    I'm not someone rich , and when i can try new things like this one, i like to test it quickly.....not 3 month later.

    I will buy this one, it work perfect on my 808 with a little of eqp1 bass boost at 80hz .

    I needed it desperately and they delivered.

    So in total honesty,

    Yeah but you're only considering your own point of view in this equation and justifying destroying someone's business simply because you're poor. Besides the fact that I find irony in that, there is more than enough stuff that hasn't been released that things can just get shuffled up a little and a better equilibrium (shout out to Kaylix) can be found. You're telling me that if a release will be put out in a month that it will be simply unacceptable to you even if you know that this could be the difference between a developer pushing through or being discouraged (or going bankrupt) and closing shop? Sorry but I cannot agree with that. Less developers, less things to enjoy. I think that we should at least meet the devs halfway. Look at what HORiZON is doing, they've been putting out some nice releases but I read in their last nfo that they factor in release date. I don't see anyone posting angry comments about the fact that John or Aiyn had some extra time to make some sales. I believe in what we do but I also believe in balance. We don't have more of a right to try stuff than someone has a right to make a living and feed their family on the work they likely spent months to years creating. It's quick for something to get pirated but it's slow to make these products. Most people wouldn't even notice it because they'd be busy with older releases that are coming out first and by older I mean a month older. Products are just as sweet (if not more so) a month (or whatever) from release date as day of release.

    I know right. I could never get another release and be set for a lifetime. Sure I'd have desires to try new things out but I don't need it, this isn't heroin...it's a VST. What I need is to retain my humanity especially in these troubled and trying times. Can't put a price on that.
