ANEMAN: Audio NEtwork MANager

ANEMAN is a powerful tool to discover, connect and monitor your audio network. It informs you when you can and cannot make connections, and even gives you the PTP status of each device. With the Sample Rate zone, you can now have multiple sets of devices on the network that will follow their own master’s Sample Rate.

It is a TAB; it can be opened and processed while doing other operations. Save the configuration and the settings in a unique file for a total recall in this or another Pyramix 11 project.

This DAW can´t really be compared to anything, cause it has its very own workflow. It is mainly used for highres multichannel classical recordings. Check http://www.2l.no for music made with pyramix.

every daw sounds the same no matter what. i recorded choir with reaper. there's certain snobbery around this daw that it is superior. bollox

It's mainly for DSD. If you need to record and process DSD (e.g. for SACD production), you simply cannot do it with Reaper.
On the other hand you would also need the necessary equipment (DSD capable interfaces and a really(!) good monitoring setup) that nobody here has anyway I guess...

basically a very different DAW that also doesn't have VSTi support.
you can record, mix and master with this though, and very well so. Just no virtual instruments. And the UI is quite different from any other DAW out there.
But Merging has its cool MassCore technology which allows you to hide physical CPU cores from Windows so you can exclusively run plugins and Pyramix's audio engine on them, which will give you a performance boost, especially at lower latencies. Basically they claim that it eliminates the need for DSP cards because the reserved cores of your CPU can do much more work if they are only available to the DAW and not the OS itself.
That is something I wish would find its way into Reaper, but MassCore is only licensed from another company that specializes in real-time capable Windows modifications and applications and would truly be a nightmare to implement.

I will only buy this the day they update it to support 24576KHz / 512bit audio, because my cat doesn't seem to enjoy listening to music at only 384KHz...

Also, when i see junkiexl composing tons of great music and film scores, at 'only' 48khz, i wonder what these gigabits and terahertz are good for, at the end..

i have mytek 8x192interface, my plan is I want to buy myTek dsd card. my question, If I take this card, Can I run dsd with pyramix 11? because

By default 2 Cores will be assigned to MassCore, as we leave a pair number of Cores for Windows.
Merging recommends Hyperthreading users to run with the MassCore SMP key.

and

MassCore multi-core support option is only available with MassCore SMP key.
The key will enable the VS3 Control Panel option for Core allocation, to enhance the MassCore engine performance.
Slider allows the user to choose the repartitions of Cores.

In this release are just plugins bundled by Merging in the Pyramix software packs. CEDAR plugins are not bundled by Merging into the software packs and, unfortunately, not included in this release.

But Woam.dll , CXLL18.dll , xChangeFacade.dll and LibGLA.dll not found :(

I have try it several times, someone idea ? (It's the first version I try, no old version was installed)

Are you running Windows 10 1709 (Fall Creator) or later? This is old version of Pyramix, it is not fully compatible with new versions of Windows 10.

This error was fixed in later builds of Pyramix.

However, try running Pyramix as administrator, this sometimes fix the issue.
