I can confirm that, and all my installed plugins are working with it too

Amazing work, thank you!

Can anyone help explain when it says in the instructions:
"Type your name in the "activation.bwreg" file and save it. Your new projects will be signed with this name ."
How do I so that? Is that done with a text editor?

Yes, it's done with a text editor. Make sure there is no newline at the end of file, as that will cause the name to appear glitched or not at all. The maximum name length is 9 characters.

Catalina 10.15.7

“Bitwig Studio.app” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.

Tried after restarting , also...same thing.

If the downloaded files didn't get corrupted and you applied the crack properly, it's probably Gatekeeper detecting the modification and refusing to run the application altogether - even if something was wrong with the crack itself, you would still at least see the splash screen which is in the native code part of Bitwig, not in bitwig.jar

Open the Terminal, paste the following command and hit Enter.
sudo xattr -rc "/Applications/Bitwig Studio.app"

This will clear all extended attributes for the Bitwig folder, among which is a flag that marks the app as suspicious.

If that didn't work, there's also the nuclear option, disabling Gatekeeper altogether.
sudo spctl --master-disable

it did the same to me on Mojave 10.14.6. I installed it, went offline, opened it before moving the bitwig.jar and that seemed to do the trick. I then moved the .jar and reopened the program after going back online and it worked perfectly.

That could somehow work around the Gatekeeper, but it seems to have gotten stricter with Catalina, so YMMV.
Removing the attributes on the Bitwig Studio.app folder with that command should do the trick. If not, disabling Gatekeeper entirely is not that bad of an idea for users of any cracked software and it will prevent these issues from coming up in the future :)

Friends, I want to express my gratitude to those people who provided the main assistance in hacking the program. Especially Arisu and gxray. gxray You inspired me with your Linux version and I believed that breaking the new version is possible. That's why I created a Discord group where I asked for help. Arisu joined the group with some results already available. That is why we all have this result today. My humble task was just that I submitted cracked versions to Rutracker. org. Thanks again to all of you.

Fucking-Aye, made that shit happen! Community coming together

It's a shame I missed the Discord group invite link a day too late ("invite expired", didn't check Rutracker for 2 days, also why PM response was late), I would have just joined and explained

I get this message after re-opening a project: Could not open project. Null character found in binary string.
Anyone else?

I made a tool to fix projects corrupted in this way automatically, but I still need some real-world project files to test it on before I make a more user-friendly version and share it here. Send me the project file and I'll send you back the fixed version (hopefully).
Here's an example video

Okay, this means your activation.bwreg file has been saved with the UTF-16 encoding or similar.

You don't need to start the activation process again, just edit the %localappdata%\Bitwig Studio\.activation-5 file.
If using Linux, it will be in ~/.BitwigStudio/.activation-5
If on macOS, it will be in ~/Library/Application Support/Bitwig/Bitwig Studio/.activation-5

Open the file with a text editor that allows you to change the character encoding (for example Notepad++ on Windows), then save it with UTF-8.

New projects won't be damaged anymore, and if you want an old one back, send it and I'll fix it

thanks for the help but it did not work.
i had a legit version and installed this one. It did not asked for the registration and opened straight. Maybe that's the problem
  Member 10.01.2021 20

Oh, then the cause of this problem is different than I thought - this version is patched to read the activation file as plain text containing just the username. Meanwhile, the legitimate activation files contain binary data. When you run this version having a legitimate license file, all kinds of garbage get read into the username variable - including null bytes.

If coming from a legit version, you have to delete that .activation-5 file, then proceed with registration using the activation.bwreg file from this release. If it still doesn't ask for registration, it's best to delete the entire %localappdata%\Bitwig Studio folder and start fresh.

Thanks.

The Adaptive snap shortcut "/" never been working for me in all the versions, what about yours ?

Thanks for mac user but I don't think I will invest more time in this Daw. There are no regions lane only cue markers and after adding some of them, I could no more them, color, name, position ... On OSX try this, move a cue marker and hoover another one : clu marker can no more be edited ! Native compressor does not sound great.

Installation works, but my projects from before won't load anymore, it's stuck on "loading plugins" - I figured out, that the Arturia plugins are causing this. Anyone else with this problem? As soon as I remove the tracks with arturia, the remaining plugins load. Can't open any Arturia though. Worked with the version before.
  Member 10.01.2021 20

Bitwig 3.3 has introduced a new audio engine, maybe this broke compatibility. Arturia works for me though. Try deleting files "vst3-dpi-aware-cache", "vst3-metadata-*" and "vst-metadata-*" from %localappdata%\Bitwig Studio\cache.
  Member 7.07.2014 31

Thanks for the help, tried it, doesn't help sadly :( I might just try reinstalling the Arturia plugins.
  Member 10.01.2021 20

You can also try different plugin hosting modes, for example "By manufacturer" - maybe Arturia plugins will work better when they're ran separately from the other ones.
