Avid Pro Tools HD 10.3.9 Mac OSX [FiXED]

I got Pro Tools back on its feet with the previous Parch and Loader. The new Bit Slicer didn't work for me. Someone asked around what Bit Slicer is. It seems that It is an automated hex editor that is triggered by the loader. I suppose it patches the initial iLok searches in a similar way that it is done in JustTrying's 10.3.x version for Windows. Anyway, this happens behind the scenes and you only watch your computer work on its own. The new BIt Slicer works without the loader, which is neater and more top notch, but it didn't work for me. Anyhow, here is my install process, if it helps anyone:

1. Install PT 10.3.9 (get it from Avid). Reboot as instructed.
2. Unpack the Loader and Patch files and place them in your desktop.
3. Run the patch. If it doesn't open, fix it with Permissons Reset or BatChmod. It opens an initial window explaining the process. Close it. You are left with a smaller window. Drag the Pro Tools application into this window (.../Applications/Avid/Pro Tools/Pro Tools.app).
4. Open the Loader. If it doesn't work or if when Pro Tools opens you get the "...fucking..." message when Pro Tools is stating up, the loader needs fixing. Close everything and run Permissions Reset or BatChmod to fix permissions of the loader.

PRO TOOLS CAN ONLY BE STARTED WITH THE LOADER.

At this point Pro Tools should be up and running until random iLok searches within the program find the absence of it. When t happens, you are asked to save your work and quit.

Known iLok search triggers:
- Strip Silence and and the new Gain slider
- AudioSuite plugins
- Some plugins like Plugin Alliance have been reported to cause issues.

As for the rest, the program is as stable as it gets. There's no further troubleshooting on the loader or patch. Pro Tools is the pickiest and prickest DAW of all yet we still drool about it (I do). Besides, you need to prepare your Mac to run Pro tools (You need a second internal drive with a speed of 7200 RPM, you need to disable Spotlight, and lots of other no-nos in your Mac). If you really want to test run it, I suggest you check Avid's Pro Tools forum for guidelines to troubleshoot and spec up your Mac.

One last thing. I don't have Mavericks so I cannot really test this, but when you drag the patch and loader to the Assistive Devices window, a lot of the time either or both files will not stay or disappear. If you fixed permissons, this shouldn't happen. Anyway, reportedly, people have tried again and again until they stick and work.

Good luck with your alpha testing. This is a work in progress yet (hopefully).

Since the new Bit Slicer didn't work for me, I decided to keep the ol' good loader, but I changed its skin so it looks more like the real deal. It's the same loader Funtime posted but with an icon that looks more like Pro Tools. You still place it in your desktop, and add it to the Dock. If you want to use it, here it is:

If you use it, please, fix permissions of the loader with Permissions Reset or BatChmod. You might even need to fix permissions of the Pro Tools app itself (.../Applications/Avid/Pro Tools/Pro Tools.app).

I don't think this thing really work on 10.9
i have done almost all what has been advised here but same kind of error. clean and reinstall over and over again. I was wondering, is it me, did i miss some thing on the information supplied by the cracker.

OK, IT WORKS ON ML 10.8.5

HAVE YOU INSTALLED PT 10HD? HAVING LOADER PROBLEM? IF YOU DO HAVE PROBLEM OF ANY KIND WITH THE LOADER DO THIS.
PUT ORIGINAL LOADER ON DESK TOP ALONG WITH PATCHER. ENABLE ASSISTIVE DEVISES AND PATCH PT 10 APP.
RIGHT CLICK ON LOADER SHOW CONTENT ON MACOS COPY STUB TO DESK TOP, IT SHOULD BE EXECUTABLE OR USE BATCH MODE.

NOW TRY LAUNCHING THE LOADER WAIT WHEN YOU SEE A POPUP THAT SAYS WAIT FOR PROTOOLS TO OPEN SESSION GO TO DOCK AND CLICK PT ICON AND OPEN ANY OF YOUR OLD PT SESION
THE SAME POPUP AGAIN CLICK CONTINUER AND WAIT.
I WILL TRY MAVERICKS AGAIN AND REPORT BACK.

THIS IS NOT CONSIDER A STABLE PT 10HD.

Hi! i install it on a OSX 10.8.3 and it woks fine. I need to update my osx version to 10.8.4 or later. Do someone know if this version of PT cracked works on this version of OSX?

Trabaja bien en Mavericks 10.9.3 solo que no se puede exportar en mp3 o cambiar sesiones.

NOTE: This is for people who still use the original loader and have successfully installed Pro Tools.

If you downloaded the loader with the Pro Tools icon and want it out of sight on the desktop, you can hide it and make it an invisible file. Of course, once you used the patch, you can delete it, but I haven't tried moving the loader to another location. It might cause new issues. So if you want to keep the loader only on the dock and put it of sight on the desktop, execute the following Terminal command:

Type "chflags hidden " without the quotations but keeping the spaces, and then drag the loader from the desktop into the Terminal window and press enter. Now the Loader file disappears from the desktop and it is only accessible via the icon in the dock. This way, starting Pro Tools is neat and easy.

I click "PT10Loader.app" and Error message is displayed

Check the action's properties and try running the workflow again.
